Lovely pendant. I have the idea of making this triangle with peyote bezel from the middle of the wide side to have the point down, it would also look pretty. Thank you fir this tutorial
I never thought of vertical peyote and I love ❤️ the look of it. Substantial but not overwhelming. I hope you will do more designs like this one using Rivoli’s and other type crystals. I’m so impressed with the look and style of it! Thanks 😊 Ally 😘
That’s beautiful, and the tutorial is excellent. I like the format of showing you in the corner because it personalizes the video while still showing very good closeups of the work. I would like to suggest that you use higher contrast colors for demos, though. These are beautiful, but the colors are too similar to be able to clearly see what you were doing, especially towards the end where the corners got more complicated.
You make this look so easy. I really like this. Can you show how to do a navette shape? Also is there a tutorial or formula to use when trying to calculate how many of a certain size bead/delica will be needed to go around a stone, cab or crystal? I have tried measuring with a tape measure, or stringing beads and placing them around the crystal, but it doesn’t seem to work out very well. Thanks for your expertise, I watch every tutorial you guys put up, and was lucky to get to watch live with Bella on Saturday..
@durinda au: yes, there are "recipes " to create shapes, check Diane Fitzgerald's books at your favorite book retailer. She wrote two books about making shapes with delicas. Edit: yes, string three delicas, add two delicas to represent the tip, string another three, add two for the other tip, close to circle. Then peyote around. It will help a lot if you choose another color for the beads at the tip. It is important that the amount of beads between the tips are an odd number on each side. Peyote around until the desired size is reached. The tips of the navette are to be handled the same as the corners of the triangle. When you reach the desired size, navigate the needle to the first row and zip the beads together. Hope that helps! Stay well!

Just finished this tutorial on a tiny 8mm triangle with a hole. It’s almost covered the hole. One question I have is how you did the one that doesn’t include a frame of 15-0 seed beads. All my beaded bezels always have included this, and I am looking at the picture of the yellow and teal one. How did that one work?
Sorry, I cannot agree that the back of the bezelled crystal is herringbone. It's peyote, what looks like herringbone is the construction of the corners. There are two books by Diane Fitzgerald demonstrating how to create shapes, including recipes how to create your own. I learned it from those books. Nonetheless, it looks beautiful. Why not do square stitch for the loop in the first place?
Isabella Bihy, She says the corners are herringbone, and the rest it’s peyote stitch. I know these stitches and yes, it’s a combination of these two stitches, super easy to make and fun! Have a nice day! 😊

That's a great idea. Thank you :)
So pretty-and all I need now, is a crystal triangle so I will be able to give this a whirl. Thanks, Allie, for sharing this beauty with us.

It's done the same way, she just continued to use 11/0s where the 15/0s are.
Hello from germany. Is there a chance for an 14mm square tutorial this way to bezel?
How would you increase this to accomodate a 23mm triangle? TIA - Christine
Do you have a video for a 23mm Triangle? I've only got 23mm ones, not 18mm lol
We do not have a video for the 23mm. It is sometime trial and error to increase the bead count for the larger triangles, but it is not hard to do
Medicinebeads did this same bezel on her channel a year or so ago
When you are working with a specific shape, there's only one way to get around it with peyote.
