@@GntlTch lol it is completely the other way around! It really sounds like a tribute to Elon since he loves deep melodic techno. Really refreshing track choice in contrast to all the random EDM wobbling BS and liquid dub that is all around YT vids. I loved it!

@2:29 is one of the most beautiful shots of a Cybertruck I've seen. The tow hooks. The plugs. The connectors. Utility, utility, and more utility. Not some lifestyle fake truck for millennials to camp in their driveway. No, this is a useful tool to haul big stuff. They're actually going to give us the things to do work with like a truck is meant for. My good, tears are streaming down my face. It's beautiful. That shot is so goddamn beautiful.
What are those posts for? (The two flat bars on the front and rear) they look like some kind of connector but I don’t think I’ve seen that before on other vehicles
@@memeluke Can't say for sure but at a bare minimum they are hefty, general purpose mounting points for accessories such as a snow plow, compressor, welder, etc. They are directly attached to the Cybertruck underbody frame via 4" square steel tubes. The rear plates are very close to the builtin power outlets and look to be about 6" square with bolt holes for easy attachment. I expect lots of innovative uses to be found.

That close up of the revisioned Cybertruck revealed lots! Looks like something close to final version.
That remains to be seen
They do not have the machine that makes the machine called cybertruck. What we see is an awkwardly assembled, engineering prototype. The front and rear "castings" are probably machined and/or weldments. Until the factory line starts making parts, springback in the panels dialed in, and assembly/alignment is perfected we will not see a real production CT. It will look much better.

It is really nice to see the small details on the cybertruck like the tow hooks and tow receiver and electrical hookup, etc. Really lends to production being right around the corner.

I have never spent over 20 grand on a car or motorcycle in my 66 years but I ordered the Cybertruck. I was impressed by the form follows function design philosophy and started researching this amazing company. The following January I purchased 200 grand of stock that has appreciated 10X. I will be buying only Tesla products from now on, it's the right thing to do.

Is it me, or does 0:45 highlight for the first time the seats on structural battery pack on camera? I recall some pictures from Berlin, but this seems so much more efficient than the previous way of placing them from outside once the body is completed 🙌🏻

At 0:55, you can see the battery + seats + understructure "loaded" up into the car in one go. Wow, that's efficiency...
@@chrisheath2637 When Sandy Munro saw just the battery pack on display with what might be (he was right) mounting flanges he deduced they were probably for mounting the seats like this to enable the easy installation we see here. The manufacturing number and type of steps it eliminates made him very happy.
For me it’s all about the batteries. I absolutely love the footage of cell production at Austin. The future is bright.

0:49 When Sandy Munro saw the battery pack at this event he predicted the seats would be directly mounted to it in this fashion - a big improvement over maneuvering them in thru the doors after the body was done.

Did you hear any details on how the Model Y deliveries were handled considering the Texas laws?
Did anyone else notice that the orientation of the factory in the slide is off by 180 degrees at the 4:20 mark? I only noticed it because this was the first time I had seen a flow pattern for material movement within the different sections of the factory.
I think it's just a generalised layout - after all the factory is on multiple floors...

This is the most vertically integrated company the world has ever seen. Tesla will disrupt the auto industry the way Apple wiped out the old phone technology and much more, bc Tesla is not just a car company. But auto industry will be the first to be disrupted. They now all see tesla coming but there is not a darn thing they can do about it.
Congratulations to Tesla! Genius plus hard work wins out in the end.
