aawad- I know that the wodaabe are like a sub clan of the Fulani family. I myself am fulbe and i find it quite interesting that the language doesn't seem to different all over north western africa!!

Wodaabe are Fulani, there are various groups within the Fulani region. the Hausa are another group from the Sahel that speak Hausa language. Mauretania is a country that has many different groups of people. Touareg are also known as Tamashek or Tamajaq, the name for them is Kel-Tamasheq, speakers of Tamasheq language, a sub group of berber.
