Your superior vena cava and inferior vena cava have the important function of carrying oxygen-poor blood to your heart's right atrium, where it moves into your right ventricle and then to your lungs (through your pulmonary artery) to trade in carbon dioxide for oxygen
What does the pulmonary artery do?
Your pulmonary arteries carry oxygen-poor blood from your heart to your lungs. This is a vital function. Your blood needs to reach your lungs to gain oxygen and get rid of waste products like carbon dioxide. This blood then returns to your heart, and your heart pumps it out to the rest of your body.
What are pulmonary veins?
Pulmonary veins are blood vessels that carry oxygen-rich blood from your lungs to your heart. Your pulmonary veins are part of your body's pulmonary circuit. This is a system of blood vessels that moves blood between your heart and your lungs

U should have pressed other side of red syringe. Ur showing it in other direction. Blood enters left side through pulmonary veins and exits through aorta. Whatever shown here is ulta.
