Very good review, I agree that the fact they are 'generic' doesn't let them down. They seem to be great, solid models - will look great on your 'modular' layout 😀
Absolutely, as long as you're not an expert in pre-grouping coaches (which I'm definitely not! 😂) then these look great and are really well made. You're right, I can't wait to get these modular layout - they'll make it look even bigger! Thanks for watching 😃
Awesome, yeah that seems like a really cool livery doesn't it! Hoping to make some progress on the layout soon so when I do you guys will be the first to know. Thanks for watching 😃
I just watched this video and I think I'm gonna have to get some for my own layout. I like how Hornby didn't necessarily model a super specific coach for a specific railway, and instead allowed modelers like myself to customize them. I love those lights too!😃
Awesome, yeah I think they've got a big opportunity here to make lots of very nice looking coaches in different liveries - especially as a lot of Hornby's main customer base don't necessarily know the detailed in and outs of pre-grouping coaches (myself included!). I'm surprised they haven't done any in an SE&CR livery though - I would have thought they would be very popular! Thanks for watching 😃
What a fantastic review. Thanks for not only showing the detail but for putting them through some very harsh curves! I think that showing that sort of handeling has eliminated a lot of worries in running performance. Great stuff, thanks for posting. 👍👍👍
That's what I'm here for! Just like when I did the Ruston 48DS review I thought it was worthwhile to run them over some dodgy track so people could see how they perform in a worst case scenario. Happy to report that all was well! Thanks for watching 😃
Thanks Matt, really glad you enjoyed the video. Fantastic, hope your coaches arrive soon. They are lovely and the teak finish is great! Thanks for watching 😃
I’ve got the 6 wheeled 3rd class coach alongside various other liveries) and I think it’s great. There’s a nice amount of detail, the NEM couplings are good, it rooks ok, and the light up interior is a really nice addition.
Yeah they are very nice. I can see why many people prefer the Hattons ones instead but I have to admit there are certain things about the Hornby ones that I do prefer - the lighting system in particular being one of them. Thanks for watching 😃
Great review - thanks. I know the Hatton's coaches may end up being more detailed, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Hornby coaches. I was expecting them to be more basic.
Yeah the build quality is great and what is apparent throughout is that Hornby have really thought about who the target audience is for these. They're certainly not toylike, which is what people usually assume with generic coaches. Thanks for watching 😃
Thanks Tris, likewise I really enjoy your videos too. In fact I was literally just watching your latest layout update a moment ago! Thanks for watching 😃
Hey everyone, great to see you've all been enjoying this video! I've done a step by step guide on how to change the battery in these coaches so if you're a bit worried about opening them up feel free to have a watch: ruclips.net/video/1q_mtX-49eY/видео.html
Great idea, I think a lot of people will be doing that to be honest. Lets just hope all the Hornby coaches don't sell out before then as they do seem to have been popular! Thanks for watching 😃
They are very nicely done. Yes I quite like the battery lighting too, simple but effective and saves you the cost of a decoder for each coach! Thanks for watching 😃
Great review, great voice over. I've read the rubbish over on rmweb but it's the usual suspects going on about accuracy. As you said these coaches are not marketed at them, it was never the intention. They are meant for modellers like me, someone who does not have a depth of prototypical knowledge but roughly knows that livery a, in that time period goes with x loco's etc. I've ordered some SR as that's my region and era, however these LNER look great, maybe i could use rule one and put them behind my Hush Hush when it arrives!
Thanks! Oh I wouldn't worry about what was said on RMweb, I certainly don't! 😂 I don't think anyone intends to be nasty but they do sometimes forget that there's fellow human being reading their responses. Anyway back to the coaches, yes you've hit the nail on the head there on who these are aimed at. Hope your Southern coaches arrive soon although you have got me thinking about what a Hush Hush would look like pulling a brach line train now! Thanks for watching 👍
Thanks! Yes Hornby have been really quick getting the first batch out to shops. They were selling fast though so if there's a specific livery you're after I'd have a look sooner rather than later! Thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy haha! I already looked and it looks like they're all sold out. I would've probably gotten either the 4 wheel teaks or the LSWR 4 wheelers. Ah well. Still a great video!
Ah that's a shame. If they've been this popular though I bet Hornby will do further runs. Let's face they're still selling their old generic locos and rolling stock from the 80's so imagine they're hoping these will have just as long a life!
Thanks! I'd like to get some of the Hattons ones too, ideally in the SE&CR livery. Yeah I reckon these coaches would look great on micro layouts, they've got a certain charm to them! Thanks for watching 😃
Probably a major beginner’s question, but could you place a magnet in, for example, a tunnel mouth, or under a bridge, and have the coach lights switch on/off as they pass under/through?
You could definitely do something like that though I imagine it would take a bit of planning to get it to work consistently every time. Thanks for watching 😃
Great review - Ive got the same set, overall very pleased - foot plates were not the best fit and my brake coach had one set of wheels that needed re-seating but 8/10 if you can get them for sub 30 quid each
Oh wow! Yeah, I'd only seen the Hattons ones before. I'm curious to know which would be the most efficiently priced product for an American bloke like myself! I'm no expert on British rail equipment, but I do love crisp, colorful liveries!
These were only just announced from Hornby so it's understandable you may have missed them. It's difficult to say which is the best deal at the moment though until the Hattons coaches have been released. The Hornby ones are a few pounds cheaper and there's different liveries being done by the two different companies so I think it'll be really interesting to see what happens in the long term. Thanks for watching 😃
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah they are great little coaches - looks like Hornby have got a good product on their hands! Thanks for watching 😃
Awesome, yeah the NBR ones do look really interesting. Perfect for the Hornby J36 in the NBR livery too! I do like the teak effect Hornby do though which is why I had to go for the LNER versions. Thanks for watching 😃
Can you recommend a site to buy from? I'd love to get a set if they're still available. Love British railways but they're not easy to get in America... Very nice review.
Hey there, Hattons is probably a good bet as I hear they're pretty good at sending stuff overseas. I'm not sure which liveries they still have in stock though as these coaches do seem to have been popular. Thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy Thanks! I've heard alot about Hattons but I've never bought from them before. Definitely interested in these coaches so I'll look into doing so. Thanks!
Great video. I heard that these are actually based on nbr carriages, so they certainly suit that loco. Perhaps hornby were honestly just making some nbr 6 wheelers then saw hattons carriages and decided to pump them out is tons of different livery but I think I'll be buying a mix as they'll make a lovely heritage railway vintage set with carriages of different types and they hornbys brake coach looks very good as a lbscr brake
Thanks! That's funny, I'd heard that they were originally working on Stroudley 4 Wheelers to go with their Terriers and then switched to a generic project but I think there's lots of rumours flying around so who knows what the truth is! 😆 Yes I'd like to get a mixed set too. The modular layout I'm currently building is also based on a heritage railway so I imagine I'll end up with a few of these in different liveries. Thanks for watching 👍
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. I agree, these are the perfect price in my opinion considering what you get - and it's not much extra to get the versions with lights too. Thanks for watching 😃
Thanks! Yes the first few liveries were released last week with the rest supposedly following on over the next few months. They were selling very quickly by the look of things. Thanks for watching 😃
Great video again, thanks for the effort. (And unlike some RMweb Gentlemen, I do watch your videos to the end, so forget them and keep the reviews coming). I certainly will get some of these nice coaches, once I find a way to get them import free in Belgium. Thanks Brexit 😁.
Thanks! Oh not to worry, I don't take much notice of what people say on RMWeb. Even though there's a certain amount of hostility towards RUclipsr's on there, the comments section on RUclips itself is often more volatile so if it upset me I'd have given up long ago. 😄 Good luck with getting your coaches though. Hope you find a way to import them eventually and thanks for watching all the way through 👍
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy cheers, was wondering that! I bought some midland hattons ones while I had the chance, kind of raging I didn’t buy more when I could. There is a demand for these coaches certainly given his they’ve sold out so well.
Ooh now that's an idea! Yes, I think that could work though you'd need to make a top for it to cover up the weight. Seems a shame not to use the body but I suppose you could use it as a grounded coach instead. Thanks for watching 😃
They are stunning! Hornby has always been good at doing the teak finish so I couldn't resist getting some of these to go behind my LNER locos 😄 Thanks for watching 👍
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy hi .yes i have just ordered four .all l n e r as this is what my layout is based on.i have gone for the lighted version. cant wait. cheers tom.
Great video. Okay they are generic but hey a nice coach. Will look well behind my 2 terriers or my H class. Hattons version... well I will leave it there. Great video. Thank you
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it Tom. I agree, they'll look perfect behind those locos. I think it's difficult to judge the Hatton's version since they're not out yet but hopefully I'll be able to do a video on those later this year. Thanks for watching 😃
Absolutely! I've seen a lot of people putting the Hatton's coaches on a pedestal at the moment and hopefully they come out more like the P Class than the Class 66... but only time will tell.
Awesome, yeah it'll be really interesting to see how the Hatton's Genesis coaches turn out. Let hope they live up to the high standards they've set themselves! Thanks for watching 😃
Good review. I do like the look of these four wheel coaches, though I do wonder why they didn't make the design 100% accurate to a certain type of coach. Like, I know these are supposed to be generic, but like, they could have modelled one or two specific ranges of coaches, and then repainted those to serve as generic, essentially modelling one or two company's coaches accurately and repainting those for all the generic variants. That's not to say there's anything wrong with these, but I do think it might have potentially a missed opportunity. This is just something I wanted to put out there, cause it's a thought I've had since the announcement. I hope I didn't butcher what I was trying to say here, it's not a slight on these, just a thought I wished to express. Apologies for the ramble.
It's definitely a valid argument and there are rumours flying about that Hornby were originally planning to make Stroudley pre-grouping coaches to go specifically with their Terrier's before Hatton's announced the Genesis range. (But that is just rumours!) Although I don't know for certain I suspect Hornby (and Hattons) probably thought that modelling a specific coach set and slapping different liveries on it would most likely lower the sales of all but the correct livery. Although there may be a boost of sales in the correct livery it probably wouldn't be enough to cover the other lost sales. I know it sounds a bit backwards but after all Hornby are a business and they'll do whatever causes them to sell more products. Again this is all just a theory and I have no connection to Hornby or any inside information. Thanks for watching 😃
From what I've seen it looks as though they're going after two different markets. Hornby has a wider appeal and will attract more people who know less about the prototypes and just want a coach in a colourful livery. Meanwhile it looks like Hatton's has done a lot of work to make their detailed coaches as accurate as possible while still being generic. Both takes have advantages and at least now we have a choice of pre-grouping coaches. Thanks for watching 😃
Yes Starkiller100 Hatton's coaches are superior when it comes to detail and with No lifetime baned. Great to have luggage rails and step board fix want is great as I can put people in with luggage and with the light it looked amazing in the dark. Plus it going to be easy to remove the step Board if you don't want them. And you get an 18-pin decoder socket in lit models for digital control but if you use analog want I use easily just needs to applied power to the track and then there will turn on. I'm not big fans of all of the 6 wheels coaches but will the Hatton one if you got 6 wheels you can just remove the Centre wheels want I will be doing to some of the 6 wheel coaches I can have some small 4 wheels coaches and some bigger 4 wheels coaches. I will be sticking with Hatton one as I pre-order the NCB blue one but waiting for the Oxford Rail 2021 future announcements if their not things I like I will be ordering (L&Y brown & umber, LNWR , SECR ) I wish Hornby give you the choice with the 6 wheels coaches to take out the Centre wheelset as there I was go for the LNWR. But keep safe Starkiller100 in these hard times.
The French ones are based on various German designs (mainly Prussian). Although these do look similar to the Saxon version that did not have a clerestory roof. And the 4 wheelers are missing the 'sprengwerk' construction on the chassis (reinforcing frame to compensate the missing centre wheel)
Yep! The first few liveries were available to order last week with the rest supposedly following on fairly quickly over the next few months. Thanks for watching 😃
They are stunning and look great with the teak finish! Hornby just announced these a couple of weeks ago and the first lot are already in the shops... they're selling quickly by the looks of things too. Thanks for watching 😃
Thanks! They are lovely coaches - would look great running as a little branchline train in my opinion. Which livery do you think you'll go for? Thanks for watching 😃
Absolutely! I have a J15 in the BR livery but I'm seriously considering getting another with the LNER lettering to run with these coaches. Thanks for watching 😃
Hi there, it depends on what your bar for realism is really. If the rest of your models are H0 scale then these would probably look bigger than everything else but if that doesn't bother you there's nothing to stop you applying "Rule 1". Thanks for watching 😃
hi very good review even if you do speak too fast in some parts it feels like you are rushing or even rapping these are a great set of coaches ive pre ordered 2 lner 2 gnr 2 lnwr 2 gwr and 2 set from hattans like ive said in groups that these will go well with the hattons ones as not all pre grouping coaches was the same or painted the same keep safe arp
Thanks, yeah I know. It's partly due to wanting to keep the video short and concise while also trying to fit in all the information but I do have a tendency to rush so hopefully I'll improve on that this year. That's a great idea about mixing the Hornby and the Hatton's coaches though. Would definitely highlight the wide variety of different designs in pre-grouping coaches. Thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy they will be good together I know on my channel I'll try and compare them with pros and cons. More reviews the better opinions to give to ppl who may wanna buy them All reviews are opinion based? Keep safe arp
I do love them models the LNER looks fantastic Did you get these sent or did you buy them ??? And tbh looking closely at the genisis coaches at hattons I think the Hornby looks more realistic . Very nice video Kind regards Henri
I wish I had been sent these! If anyone from Hornby is reading this feel free to hook me up in the future 😜 The Hornby and the Hattons ones both have strong points so it'll be interesting to compare them when the Genesis coaches are released. Thanks for watching 😃
There is no value in comparing to the Hattons Genesis coaches as we are going to have an opportunity of mix matching the coaches and giving us a un even look to the train which will match up well to real life trains
I completely agree. Rather than bickering over who was working on it first we now have a choice of pre-grouping style coaches and, as you said, can mix the two for a variety of body styles. Thanks for watching 😃
That Model Railway Guy good review on the Hornby 6 Wheel Generic Pre-Grouping. But will who review the Hatton's one? But this Hornby model not good because here a lot of little problems with the details want to make it a big problem and not good quality. Frist the battery mechanism has taken away one of the compartment. And no luggage rails with the coaches and with them having light I want to put people in plus luggage as it would make them look really good want I can't do with the Hornby one. Plus the only colour want I have seen from first-class coaches on your and Jennifer E. Kirk video has only been blue seat want was not all ways the case. And who got to fix the step board wants is not good quality as the Hatton one we have them fix and easy to removed them if you don't like them. Who said the track powerded lights would make drag yes that true but look at how free moved the Hatton coaches were on Jennifer E.Kirk and Sam trains video. Plus where I buy goods as a customer I don't want there to be light bleed and take the roof off the brake coaches and they being putting card in and painting. As the value of the goods wants I buy four would go down and not fair on the customer. I like the bigger coaches like the 6 wheel but I think the 6 wheels should have 4 wheels on but with the Hornby one I can not take out the Centre wheelset on 6 wheel coaches if I want to make it a big 4 coaches with the Hatton one I can do that. Plus for four-pound, I will be stick with the Hatton one. Plus the light only gives who 200 Hours want not much because if I only used 3 hours of light per day only in a week I was used up 21 hours of light or that said around 20 hours. Now that does 200 Hours division 21 per week only get 66 days or around 70 days. The light thinks cost £12.99 and the time you pay for the mail around £16.00. Meaning is not that cheaper in the end and costs more than the Hatton one. Now we now can get around 70 days let see how many time in the year I was has to replace the light we get around 365 days meaning I had to replace them light 5 times in a year it would coast £64.95 and not include if you got more then one. Now because we now want the prices going to be for the year £64.95 we can find the total value if I have them for 70 years it was being £4546.50 I could get around 126 Hatton's one for that prices and with no worry about the lifetime baned Because you got to Keep taking the roof off the Hornby one you could damage the toolings. The Hatton one is a lot better as you get more details plus and with light or not light. No lifetime baned I could run the Hatton's one forever with the light and don't need to worry about filling them up. Plus you get I luggage rails and step board fix to the model and it going to be easy to remove the step Board if you don't want them. Plus if you are I DCC used you get 18-pin decoder socket in lit models for digital control plus the model light will work with analog train just need to applied power to the track and then there will turn on. Plus if the customer likes the bigger 6 wheels but does not want the 6 wheels he can on the Centre wheelset removeable it so I will be doing a lot of that. If the coaches were 10 Pound cheaper I was not but down these comments. But keep safe That Model Railway Guy in these hard times.
Phew, there’s a lot to unpack here. Firstly, yes I plan to review the Hatton’s coaches when they’re released. It was Hornby that said the pickups would create drag, presumably because their wheels are mounted in a different way to the Genesis coaches. As much as I respect Jennifer E. Kirk and Sam’s Trains, I don’t have first hand experience with the Hattons coaches yet so I wouldn’t want to comment on how well they run. Regarding the lights, if you’re able to run trains for 3 hours a day, 7 days a week that’s great but is probably more than most people manage. You don’t need to replace the whole lighting bar though, only the CR2032 battery - these are widely available and packs of multiple batteries can be bought for a few pounds. As I showed it’s easy to change and also to access the interior too so no need to remove the roof. I agree the battery compartment taking up the floor space in one compartment isn’t ideal, although personally I found it hard to see even with the lights on. But all that said it sounds like you’ve already decided you prefer the Hatton’s coaches anyway so looks like this won’t be an issue for you. Thanks for watching 😃
Fair enough, it's only natural that different people will prefer different products and I'm sure the Hatton's coaches will be great too. At least we have a choice now, which a few years ago was unthinkable! Thanks for watching 😃
Me too as the Hatton look better coaches I have pre-order the NCB Blue. But waiting for the Oxford Rail 2021 future announcements if their not things I like I will be ordering (L&Y brown & umber, LNWR , SECR ) But keep safe OO gauge adventures in these hard times.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. I agree, these are the perfect price in my opinion considering what you get - and it's not much extra to get the versions with lights too. Thanks for watching 😃
I wonder if there can be 4 wheel coaches similar to these?
Hornby are doing a 4 wheel generic coach as well with the teak version having GNR lettering and lining. Hope that helps and thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy Anytime 👍
Great video really nice review, are these out now I’m guessing
Thanks! Yes the first few liveries were released last week with the rest supposedly following on over the next few months. They were selling very quickly by the look of things. Thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy Thankyou, I’ve preordered maron ones and there due in May . Just had to double check after I saw your video . 👍😎
Good luck with getting your coaches though. Hope you find a way to import them eventually and thanks for watching all the way through 👍
Do you think they will release LMS or midland versions?
I wouldn't think so as Hattons have already done LMS and Midland liveries for their own generic coaches. Thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy cheers, was wondering that! I bought some midland hattons ones while I had the chance, kind of raging I didn’t buy more when I could. There is a demand for these coaches certainly given his they’ve sold out so well.
So could you use the chassis as a flatbed
Ooh now that's an idea! Yes, I think that could work though you'd need to make a top for it to cover up the weight. Seems a shame not to use the body but I suppose you could use it as a grounded coach instead. Thanks for watching 😃
they look very good indeed.
They are stunning! Hornby has always been good at doing the teak finish so I couldn't resist getting some of these to go behind my LNER locos 😄 Thanks for watching 👍
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy hi .yes i have just ordered four .all l n e r as this is what my layout is based on.i have gone for the lighted version. cant wait. cheers tom.
Fantastic, glad to hear you managed to get some! Hope you enjoy them when they arrive 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy me too
Great video.
If the quality is like the class 66 then I'm sticking with the hornby 1
Absolutely! I've seen a lot of people putting the Hatton's coaches on a pedestal at the moment and hopefully they come out more like the P Class than the Class 66... but only time will tell.
EXCELLENT REVIEW !
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it and hopefully you found it useful! Thanks for watching 😃
*lovely coaches*
Indeed they are! Thanks for watching 😃
I’m going to get some of does but I am going to get some geenies version
Awesome, yeah it'll be really interesting to see how the Hatton's Genesis coaches turn out. Let hope they live up to the high standards they've set themselves! Thanks for watching 😃
Another epic video thanks
Thanks, really glad you enjoyed it. Was quite a quick turnaround to get this one out in time!
(But that is just rumours!)
Although I don't know for certain I suspect Hornby (and Hattons) probably thought that modelling a specific coach set and slapping different liveries on it would most likely lower the sales of all but the correct livery.
They look decent but from what I’ve seen the hattons coaches are superior when it comes to detail
Yes Starkiller100
Hatton's coaches are superior when it comes to detail and with No lifetime baned. I will be sticking with Hatton one as I pre-order the NCB blue one but waiting for the Oxford Rail 2021 future announcements if their not things I like I will be ordering (L&Y brown & umber, LNWR
, SECR ) I wish Hornby give you the choice with the 6 wheels coaches to take out the Centre wheelset as there I was go for the LNWR. But keep safe Starkiller100 in these hard times.

@@CymruJedi you are welcome but keep safe in these hard times.
@@bendavis6121 Is there a date set for the Oxford rail 2021 announcements??
Available in SNCF?
Assuming you’re talking about the French rail company, I doubt it. Hornby tends to stick to British liveries most of the time. Thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy Yes, looks like they have a green livery which is close enough...
The French ones are based on various German designs (mainly Prussian). Although these do look similar to the Saxon version that did not have a clerestory roof.
And the 4 wheelers are missing the 'sprengwerk' construction on the chassis (reinforcing frame to compensate the missing centre wheel)
Are these out yet?
Yep! The first few liveries were available to order last week with the rest supposedly following on fairly quickly over the next few months. Thanks for watching 😃
Bloody hell, that was quick, looks like I'll have to invest for my battle droids
@@generalgrievous5615 Haha, brilliant! I knew that Star Wars was set "A long time ago" but I had no idea they meant the pre-grouping era! 😜
They are beautiful coaches. I don't even know these are out.
They are stunning and look great with the teak finish! Hornby just announced these a couple of weeks ago and the first lot are already in the shops... they're selling quickly by the looks of things too. Thanks for watching 😃
such a great video now im sure i wanna order some of hornby's 4 and 6 wheel stock
Thanks! They are lovely coaches - would look great running as a little branchline train in my opinion. Which livery do you think you'll go for? Thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy considering my loco fleet i would get LNER GNR GWR SR & BR and maybe a LBSC stock
Awesome, that sounds like you'll be getting a lot of coaches then! 😁
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy not all in 1 go my wallet might catch fire lol
@@upwellonwards7373 I know how you feel. Mine always seems to be on the verge of spontaneous combustion too 😂
The sideplay on the middle axle is prototypical.....the real things had a sideways moving middle wheelset...
Yes I agree, although probably not to the extent that it moves on the model though. Thanks for watching 😃
Great coaches.
Yeah they really are! I know they're not everyone's cup of tea but I'm really glad I got them, especially in this livery. Thanks for watching 😃
will look good behind a J15
Absolutely! I have a J15 in the BR livery but I'm seriously considering getting another with the LNER lettering to run with these coaches. Thanks for watching 😃
great stuff... i love my 4 wheeler so these look like a nice addition... top review..👍🏻🤠🚂🚃Neil
Thanks Neil, they are really nice so would probably look great running with your 4 wheeler. Thanks for watching 😃
How do you make intros like that?
I made mine using After Effects but I'm sure it could be done in other VFX software too. Thanks for watching 😃
I like them! 👍
Awesome, they're decent little carriages! Still run mine all the time. Thanks for watching 😃
How unrealistic can it look if I run this beauties on my H0 layout?
Hi there, it depends on what your bar for realism is really. If the rest of your models are H0 scale then these would probably look bigger than everything else but if that doesn't bother you there's nothing to stop you applying "Rule 1". Thanks for watching 😃
hi
very good review even if you do speak too fast in some parts it feels like you are rushing or even rapping
these are a great set of coaches
ive pre ordered 2 lner 2 gnr 2 lnwr 2 gwr and 2 set from hattans
like ive said in groups that these will go well with the hattons ones as not all pre grouping coaches was the same or painted the same
keep safe arp
Thanks, yeah I know. It's partly due to wanting to keep the video short and concise while also trying to fit in all the information but I do have a tendency to rush so hopefully I'll improve on that this year.
That's a great idea about mixing the Hornby and the Hatton's coaches though. Would definitely highlight the wide variety of different designs in pre-grouping coaches. Thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy they will be good together
I know on my channel I'll try and compare them with pros and cons.

I do love them models the LNER looks fantastic
Did you get these sent or did you buy them ???
And tbh looking closely at the genisis coaches at hattons I think the Hornby looks more realistic .
Very nice video

How?
@@generalgrievous5615 Ive checked
I wish I had been sent these! If anyone from Hornby is reading this feel free to hook me up in the future 😜 The Hornby and the Hattons ones both have strong points so it'll be interesting to compare them when the Genesis coaches are released. Thanks for watching 😃
@@ThatModelRailwayGuy same here rustons they can send me
@@HTAaB2024 proof?
Well.. you could of run them with a E2 since the colours resemble Annie and Clarabel
Good idea, they're certainly more accurate than the Annie and Clarabel that Hornby offered us in the past! 😂 Thanks for watching 👍
Plus the only colour want I have seen from first-class coaches on your and
Jennifer E.
Plus if you are I DCC used you get 18-pin decoder socket in lit models for digital control
plus the model light will work with analog train just need to applied power to the track and then there will turn on. Plus if the customer likes the bigger 6 wheels but does not want the 6 wheels he can on the Centre wheelset removeable
it so I will be doing a lot of that.
If the coaches were 10 Pound cheaper I was not but down these comments. But keep safe
That Model Railway Guy in these hard times.
