☀️ I was listening as I was going to sleep but I got to the bit where you were confused and I totally get why! The family tree is; Gaia (Mother Earth) and Uranus (father sky) had their son Hyperion, who had his son Helios, god of the sun. Helios also has two siblings: Selene (moon goddess) and Eos (dawn goddess). Apollo is also a Greek sun god in mythology and is the son of Zeus; Apollo is more well known because he’s one of the 12 olympians along with Zeus and the other famous gods. So in a nutshell, Helios and Apollo both exist in Greek mythology (and in the same family tree). It’s also confusing because Apollo in Roman mythology is sometimes called Phoebus or Apollo or Phoebus Apollo.

The moral of this story, IMO, is pride, foolishness and arrogance can lead to big mistakes and big consequences.

Very Calming & Pensive!! . . . as I'm sure you already know " Amen Ra " and later Horus; son of Isis and Osiris are also ancient Sun Gods and/or solar deities, worshipped by mankind and anthropologically presumed to be the African predecessors to Ah Kin, Sol, Surya, Wala, Malakbel, Tonatiuh, Inti, Guaraci, Helios, Apollo, Berna, Mithra, Amaterasu, Xu Kai and Xihe; the Chinese Solar Goddess, . . . etc.

I'm here, after reading some of Randall Carlson's work. Among others. Connecting ancient mythologies with potential real-world ancient Earth cataclysms. Some are arguing that stories, such as this particular one, may be remnants of a meteor strike approximately 12,000 years ago. Which brought utter devastation, fire, flooding and death to the planet. If you begin to look closer at the hypothesis, the mythological connections get deeply interesting... Also, I think it's difficult not to connect the story of Phaethon and Helios with the more contemporary ideas of Satan and God. VERY similar story-line. In a nutshell, there may be a WHOLE lot more to the stories we have been telling each other for thousands of years and, also, how those ancient stories impact the stories we tell each other today.
