Dude… I JUST found mine. I’m in total shock. I’ve been farming on and off for just a few days now. Didn’t take long to realize (or feel like) this was near impossible. I learned a lot of these optimizations myself but the one about daily ops was a game changer. Also, going in and out to reload the instance - hearing you say it out loud gave me the confidence to keep it up. I found mine in a private server after no initial spawns and going in/out 5 times. Previously I had only found colors up to pink. So… I guess I’m still hunting to finish out the collection 😂. Thank you for the tips!

Ah! Thanks, was doing my head in on a private why on so many refreshes there were no spawns. I have lost count of how many times I have farmed the asylum it is in the thousands though….day 1 player and everything but the damn red dress.

And FWIW, nothing beats the Summerville house for junk, but the "Kill Box' is also pretty good as there's 50 nuka bottles on the roof and a bunch of other junk in the house. So I'll go there and then jump to the Whitespring club house for the rest.
Good idea to bounce between places. If you only do summersville part of the house isn't respawned. I will check out the Kill box! Thanks!

if you’re doing this during the mothman equinox event, this method is a great way to farm legendary items! the mothman priests spawn just outside the asylum, and every time i server hop, there’s at least one!

Id like to give you my results so far from you're method man its really good!!! What im noticing is im getting more coloured variants this way compared to just daily ops then public server then repeat. So far ive gotten 1 Forest 2 Pink 2 Blue a ton of brown and green👍👍

Right on! On public servers, big chance that any of the good ones someone already grabbed. Each server, each day has only 3 dresses that can spawn, and that is it. Private server is the way to go, because only you will be in there to get it!

So far, no luck for me (but I got all other colors so.. it's a start I guess).
If I can find a dress on each spot, but not the red yet, does that mean I'm doing it right and I just have to try over and over again?
If you see a dress on each bed, and not the one you want, That Server Is Done until tomorrow. ONLY that dress will spawn that day. that spot, on that server., and ONLY once. Once it is picked up, nothing till tomorrow.
If you are on public, even if you do the trick of going in and out of the front door over and over to force a spawn. If someone looted it already, it will not spawn. ALSO, if you have picked up a dress in that spot, not only will you not see it till you clear your loot table, YOU WILL remove the chance from the server side loot table each time you enter the place.
Just pick up 255 items and then the items all reset go to Summerville look for the house with the books It goes by most recent pick up. So just reset it

I don't do it on public because of that: I can't know if the dress is not poping because I have I didn't have luck or because someone already picked up a dress (probably a dirty white lol).

For me on windows fallout, having extra mods that not needed to farm the dress slows my load times down and can really add unwanted extra time to the loading in and out process. so I just have asylum esp so I can see from downstairs if all 3 dresses spawn without actually having to go up the elevator.
That ESP mod would actually be very useful for this! Also, yes, turn all settings down will help the load times
I give up how many times am i expected to do this just for liking the colour red.
Question: if I don’t pick a pink yellow or forest up will that increase my chances of the red. I feel once I pick a dress up my drops completely change to white for 10 server hops. (Private)
False Pattern Recognition. Each server will have it's 3 dresses for the day. it is server side information. the dresses do not change for you or anyone, Everyone will see the 3 dresses the server has for that day. I understand the feeling of thinking you are changing it, you aren't any pattern you think you see is in your mind. The only thing that is real, is on public servers you have a high chance of seeing the low quality dresses because of the increased odds someone else saw and took a better color that was there. so you will see more empty beds and weathered and dirty white
So my first time doing this on private server I got the brown and green. If I do the custom world cancel then go into private it makes a new world but still no dresses spawning I have gone out and in the main door do I need to go to Summerville and pick up books to reset?
you reset your loot table each time you pick up any dress. Anything you loot, that spot will not load anything again for 24 hour unless you do so.
When you say “that spot” do you just mean the exact spot of the dress you picked up or the inside of fort defiance as a whole won’t spawn new stuff if you pick something up
on a priv server does the dresses color doesnt change because I reset the priv server by doing the custom world and do the going back in and out of fort defiance to spawn the dresses but they always end up the same color. on priv servers does the colors stay the same per day?
Make sure you are creating a new private server each time, you will know because it says "Building World" Also, remember that 85% of the drops will be the junk white ones, so The mass majority of times it will be some combo of those 3 on the beds.
Hello nice video and liked but i have a question for clarification. Speacking abouth PRIVATE SERVER only. IF i pick up a random dress and then i make a new PRIVATE SERVER another random dress have a chance to spawn where i collected the previus one or i need to clear the loot table by collecting the 255 random items like the burned books?
You have a personal Loot Table. So the game seems more real, It keeps track of the things you touch, but only 255 of them. If you have your base, and you clear a piece of litter off the ground to make your base loot pretty, it will remember that for you on the next server, and remove the litter on the new server. This lasts for 1 day, or until you loot 255 items. It is that concept with the dresses. The game "thinks" you didn't want to see it again, cause you removed it, so it does you the "favor" of not showing it again. That explain it?

How many times are you usually supposed to enter and leave for the dresses to change? I've been at it for a while and it doesn't seem to be doing much
there is a 20% chance entering will make them spawn. They don't add up, so technically 5 times won't make 100%, but that is a good starting amount. 4-7 times seems to make them spawn, I've had all 3 spawn in as little as 1 time, and as many as 10. And remember, If you already got a dress from that spot and you haven't cleared your loot table they wont spawn, OR if you are on a public world and someone else got that spot, they wont spawn, ever, on that server

I cracked this even further! You can reset the loot table in a private server just like you do on public as long as you reset your private server with the custom
You loot table is your personal table, doesn't matter if you are on public or private, it goes with you.
Your game keeps track of only the last 255 things you've interacted with, and when you load into somewhere that will use your loot table to load the items.
I've just about given up on finding one myself. Have been debating trading one of my glowing masks for one. Maybe I'll give it a few hundred more runs and see if I can find anything.

I've only done a handful of runs so far, but your tip about leaving and entering to load more dresses has been huge. Usually I would just do the Daily Ops method and if there were no dresses I'd load another world. I've been spawning outside now, entering and leaving a handful of times and have been getting more dresses to spawn. Unfortunately nothing rare yet, but this definitely gives me some hope! Thanks for the video!

So im lil lost bc i cant seem to understand even with this great info video im kinda slow to get it so can you break it down for private farm? Bc ive done it on public and found same dress on diff servers
so on private if i load in and cant find any dress on the beds do i leave the area and come back in like 10x? By doing that it has a chance to multiply the chances for all 3 spots to load in? Bc im doing that but no dress spawn at all in each bed. Am i doing tbis wrong?
when you enter Fort Defiance, when no one is inside, it will Load the instance. Each time you enter it has a 20% chance to load a dress. Once it is loaded on the server it will stay on the server. So, if you see no dresses, you go to the front door, and go in and out over and over. each time you reenter it will reload, and have another 20% chance to make a dress spawn in. DO it until all 3 spots have a dress. Some times i've loaded a few times, and got all 3, other times I've had to do it 10+ to get that one last pesky dress to load.

Have you picked up any dresses? if so you need to reset your loot table, cause you will not see a dress for 24 hour otherwise. The video explains how to do that.
When u get the 3 dresses to spawn but nothing good, do you just restart the process?
Yes, each server will have 3 dresses for the day, only 3. So, start it all over. If you are doing it on private, it will have a new set of 3. Make sure you see "Building World" to ensure you are starting a new server. Also, yes, very often you will see 3 similar dresses in multiple servers. So, as long as you build a new world you are fine, don't worry if you see dirty, dirty, white. over and over. it is just the odds to show a similar combo.
So to reset fort defiance in private world, you just leave for a bit and come back? I thought it doesn't work like that? I'm not too far into the video though, my husband and I have been looking for all of the dresses for more than a month, but luckily got two from a friend(yellow&pink), bought the forest one from someone, now we just need red, we did buy one, but it was from someone's wife's birthday, we are still looking for mine, he did find over 9 pink dresses though(after our friend gave the pink)😅
On Private World, when you leave and see "Building World" it is a fresh brand new world. So, if you have a clean loot table (haven't picked up a dress and/or reset your 255 loot table) you will be able to force all 3 dresses to spawn.

It's weird because the guides always confused me: I had the glitch that a lot of people get with Recruitment Blues, was looking at guides attempting to get that quest to reappear, didn't even know the rare costumes were there. Anyway, the confusing part was the guides always start with "go past the locked door". Which, first of all, is a piss-poor description. That is a powered security door. A locked door I could get through with bobby pins. Second, that door has been wide open every time I remember coming in there. I don't remember it ever being closed.
I hope I explained it enough. My next update to this video, once I do recruitment blues on my alt, I'll add that section as well to fully have it explained.

Do I still need to loot 255 items outside to get these three to spawn regardless of reentering the building 5-15 times? I feel like it makes it more guaranteed but not sure.
You need to loot 255 items if you pick up a dress. Also remember, on a public server if someone else has looted that spot, you CAN NOT, make it spawn.
If you pick up a dress you will not get one to spawn there, also if you have looted on that spot and enter a server you know a dress is there, like if a friend says it is there, Unless they are inside at the dress you entering the building, if no one is inside already, will remove the dress that is in there because of your loot table, and remove it from that server till tomorrow.

I’ve noticed that ever since the new update it seems that the daily ops trick is very inconsistent. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this as well.
are you making sure you are not in a team? Inconsistent, as in when you join a new server it is placing you outside?

Not sure if im understanding the technique fully.
I loaded a private world, kept going in and out until all 3 where there, a brown, a white and a weathered.
Then i think im doing something wrong. I enter daily op, quit, and reload private world. And all 3 same dresses are there still.
What did i do wrong?
You need to restart your private. If you join your private and see "World found" you are just rejoining the private you just left. Click on Custom world, as soon as you see "Building world" escape out. Then hit Private world again. It should force a new private to load. You know you did it right if you see "Building World"

@UCQpKgUOXweMWAC3FSb1O0zA Before anyone logs on. When the server resets for the day, it has the exact list of 3 dresses it will have for that 24 hours. Nothing we do effects that, we can only help push them along to show it to us or not.

I've been looking for the red outfit for what feels like an eternity. So far I've found all the colors except red. I don't have any luck on private servers either. I've already tried to find someone on DC who will exchange or sell me his red outfit, unfortunately without a chance. I guess I'll never have luck finding this outfit.
It takes time. It lives up to it's status as Ultra Rare for sure. I hope these tips help speed up a little bit. Let me know if you do find one!

I don't get it no matter what I cannot reset my private world there is no option to do so.
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I've followed all the steps for spawning, and resetting private worlds. Everytime I've tried the spawning trick, going in, checking spawns then going out, back in again, waiting a few moments when inside before leaving again, doing that 7-10 times then there's still nothing spawning.
When I reset the world using the custom world trick, it says building a new world, but the random item spawns are staying the same throughout different world builds. Anyone having this issue?
have you cleared your loot table? if you pick up any of the dresses, NO dress will spawn in that spot for 24 hours, or untill you reset your loot at summersville

Is there higher chance on public or private server?
Technically it is the same drop rates, BUT, on Private server you control if the dress will be there. On public, if anyone else looted one of the 3 spots you will not be able to get a dress. So, private is better chance you will see a dress.
0 clothing at all keeps spawning on my private world so I’m trying public. At least I SAW something on those
A) Did you clear your loot Table? B) Did you follow the video, and go in and out of the front door until you got all three to 100% spawn?

Wouldn’t it be faster just to keep resetting the private world instead of leaving and re entering defiance a bunch?
Every time you reset the private it makes a new world. So, zero dresses will be inside the new world. Every time you have to make them spawn. Otherwise, each new world you will probably see no dresses on any bed. The reason you see more on public worlds is because before you get there, during the day people have been in and out of there, loading the place and getting them to spawn.

I just have one question, does the red dress give me permission to buy whatever I want, by now all Fasnacht Glowing mask?
Red Dress does have very high trading value, but not the highest, and not for the highest bulk trades. As of right now, with the glowing masks being at the highest price they will be at, i wouldn't think you could get all 4 for a red dress. Who knows, over time the prices may fall, but unlikely atm.

When we had 2 spawns, it's better to start again with 3 spawns, than to continue for 1 spawn.
yeh, if only 1 left, i normally just start a new server, annoying to do the 5+ door tricks for 1 bed. BUT, you never know! that last one could of been the red!!

With the influx of new players, less people are going in and out of Fort Defiance on a regular basis. So it will appear that there are not as many dresses. Do the trick of going in and out of the front door to force them to spawn.

Works on Public as well, BUT on public someone could have already picked up the dress, and you can NOT make it respawn if it is gone. so if you are goign in and out too many times on public, you are wasting time. if after 7-8 tries on public, i give up and move on

How much is the red hat worth?
All hats are worth baby caps if any at all. They are not rare. You can get all of the hats quickly. Haven't fully tested, but I believe at least one hat of every color is inside Fort Defiance every server.

I notice this method actually works better on public servers, on private I stg I can only spawn in hats public I’ve always gotten the outfits I think public the way to go imo
@@Liishaaxx are you following the tip? you have to go in and out of the front door multiple times to get them to spawn. the hats are a 100% drop, if they are going to be there, they will be there first load in, the dresses up stairs are only a 20% chance to load when you enter the place. so go in and out 4-7 times and they should spawn

yeh, works on all platforms i think. Few people on xbox and playstation have said they have done these tips and got the dress!

@@4AEMRR If you pick up a dress,
-clear loot table.
-Load a new server (private is best to ensure all dresses will be there)
-Enter and reenter Fort defiance enough times to get all 3 dresses to spawn
If any dress is picked up on a sever, that spot for that dress is done until the next day. Each server only has 3 dresses per day. You cannot make the server reload one, you can only change your side of being able to see them or not.

If you don't have Marsupial or a jet pack, I'd advise you should be progressing your game in other ways before you start farming rare costumes.
Not common, but i've known people that play "pure" and use zero mutations to stay "clean." Also, it is a bit further in the story to get a jet pack. Some people just want to play casually and have a pretty dress. 🤷

@@wilfredwayne7139 custom worlds needed a few seconds before pressing esc to force private worlds to reset, since well you can only have one world active at a time.
