Who Should Attend: “Product Design Manufacturing Collection” user that needs to check large assemblies file in created by Inventor (e.g. mechanical engineers, building layout designers, factory planner.)
Factory design and Naviswork are two separate software to achieve different thing. Factory design to do production layout planning and Naviswork is for review and do clash detective.
With inventor factory design you can design, organize and rearrange where the machine, workstation or conveyer is located. Let’s say you already finish designing the factory layout model, and you want to make sure the area is set perfectly with the rest of the level/factory building. Now you can use Naviswork to measure, markup and check for possible clashes in the area.
This Free Online Lesson will go through the basics of factory design and follow it to import into Naviswork for validation.
