Hi! This is a great video. Can you tell me what you did at 7:18 when it went from wireframe to shaded? I can't see what happened to get that effect.

Basically he/she plugs the geometry (curves) to the "extrude along" box and the computer needs time to process it, thats why it seems that it happened suddenly. The lines were extruded in the z vector and then the holes were closed.
