I'm 57, i have no children. It was by choice. I could see no reason to pass my bad personality traits to the next generation. That is what was done to me. Made worse by my parents being 18. Accept who you are and what you want. My wife decided to stay with me for that reason. She had parent issues also. No children appealed to her.

I always find it better to not have kids than to have kids just for the sake of having kids. You should only have kids when you genuinely want them and will show the love and care for them. I have seen kids brought in into this world who have parents that dont really love them and its sad

I'm a woman. I would love kids, but I'm single and raising kids alone is not something I want to do. So I decided I would not have them unless I got someone who also wants them. If I don't get someone,then I won't have kids. Luckily,I enjoy my own company a lot, so either way,I'm going to be happy and fulfilled. I totally get it Ray.

I didn't want kids, but I was pressure by family. Now all that family abandoned me and my son because he's handicapped and no one wants to help.
I love my son, but I feel so bad because he has to struggle for the rest of his life and it all my selfish family's fault.
I can't change the past, but if I had known, I would not have had my son.

I don’t understand why people are so obsessed with me having kids especially being female.
When these are the types of people having children it starts to make you realise why the world is so messed up.
As a woman who doesn’t want children, yes people do have extremely irrational reactions when I tell them about it 💀 “aLL WomEn WaNt chiLdrEN” no. some of them legitimately don’t want children.

I’m almost 30. I have some very serious illnesses that I don’t want passed down so I won’t have children. I also think I would have to be off my psych meds during pregnancy, and that just doesn’t feel safe for me.
