I live in Britain and there are hundreds if not thousands of stories like this one here. The laws on sexual harassment and assault help many to make a living doing this. Unfortunately, even the jury's decision can be easily influenced, especially if the accused is a dark-skinned foreign man.
People like her are the reason why people don't step forward and tell the police about these things. They feel that the police won't believe them or ignore them or think they're making things up or they're crazy.
