Everyone saying it's a doom clone doesn't understand the fact that just because it's a demon movement shooter (which has faster movement than doom) doesn't mean it's automatically a doom clone. Maybe it's inspired, but there are many, MANY elements that separate the two. Also, the graphics are supposed to be poly, that's what the game is going for. The gameplay isn't scuffed, it's great, and you can try telling that to the millions of people who agree. Neither DooM nor Ultrakill is better because it depends on who you ask, the two games have completely different style, DooM is more heavy and modern with gruesome kills that have a satisfying effect on them, Ultrakill is more fast and quickly paced and makes you feel like a gun-blazing superman. Chat has some of the worst takes ever, Pepega WR.

@@justswift5369 not really doom eternal is much harder and tactical than ultrakill. It's slower but feels much more chaotic and fast paced than ultrakill but ultrakill does come pretty close to it

ultrakill can not be played without having fun, trust me, it is so good and so hilarious, watch a review, and at least download it illegally or the demo, then fall in love with somethimg not even mortal, then that much speed will make your brain flat

@@db5094 Nah bro, by the end of his "playthrough", in his fight vs V2, he comes online and realizes how you can shoot coins wide and snap to them easily and gets it down. but wtf LIL BRO DIDNT PARRY A SINGLE PROJECTILE. my adhd empowers me playing this game, clearly not the case for him. im not a former overwatch gaming warlord golem tho so idk. just wish hed have given it an actually try cuz its not that long and by the end he would be so clean and invested in the clear. oh well.

Good news!
It's more proof of just how brutal his chat is to him, and how toxic their (and your) mindset is. He was playing for his first time on Violent, and his performance ranged from just fine to actually impressive. His biggest handicap was the crippling pressure his chat keeps him under at all times.
He clearly felt like he was forced to move as fast as possible, so of course he didn't have time to read tips. The constant degradation from his chat doesn't allow him to experience the game at his own pace, so naturally he missed secrets and hidden things.
He did GREAT considering just how rigged against him it was. It took me several sessions over multiple days to play through Prelude and Limbo my first time, and he did far better than I did on my first tries. Sure he may not be as good as me (or perhaps you) now, but that's because I've put dozens of hours into it. It's just stupid to expect him to discover everything the game has to offer in 45 minutes of play time.

if he enjoyed this game he should honestly play Dusk too. That's my favorite New Blood game and I would love to see him play it.

Pls don't judge ultrakill because its low poly. Its made by a video game com0any that still needs support (besides, 4gb ram is all you need and even with 16 gb computer it still lags from the blood, movement, coins, projectiles, and physics).
I like how in the game you don’t progress by leveling up and getting your weapons buffed, you progress because you yourself get better. That first boss xQc fought against becomes a common enemy later in the game and is easy as shit to beat once you know what you’re doing. It’s so fucking cool.
