Oh what fun to watch ❣️ Think I’ll paint a pair of blobby birds for my grandchildren. Love how you selected a limited palette simplifying your process. You are such a welcome relief from our political chaos. Thank you. ❤
I painted these cute little cuddle buddies yesterday and my son announced they look like Brussels sprouts which is actually very apt for Christmas!! Such a great tutorial, Diane. Thank you very much Love, Mel in Devon xx 🍰🌻
I have loved all your blobby birds. They would cheer up any day! These Christmas ones are fantastic. Thank you Diane for all your wonderful ideas and paintings.❤😊
Bravo 👏, Diane, the cheery holiday day birds are off the charts adorable, and I look forward to seeing what products you’ll have available! Congrats for the positive growth!!! Any plans to do a hummingbird (or 3-4), hee hee? So happy for you!! 💜👩🏼🎨🤘
Dianne, I have enjoyed this so much, I get despondent trying to make beautiful and forget how much fun your whimsical animals are to paint. Your commentary is always interesting especially just chatting about life in general. Thanks so much 😊
Thank you so much for sharing that information about gum Arabic. I had no idea what it was, I had heard of it of course in many products. It would seem to me that it is somewhat like tree sap, hardened. I look forward to watching the process for making paints. I love these little birds; they are so cheerful. Something we all need right now and always really. I know especially now for me I need all the positivity I can get.
This is absolutely wonderful! Such cute little birds and as always I love your tutorials and your wonderful; narrative and chat as well as your blobby birds. many thanks!
I can't wait to sit down and watch this video.. I want to know about gum arabic.. I saw it on sale at Hobby Lobby but had no idea what it was used for... Hugs! deb
It's amazing to me that I'm watching you from Egypt!! The weather here in USA Charlotte NC is unseasonably warm as well. With Christmas right around the corner seems quiet off.
I love these Christmas birds!! This painting turned out so cute. Interesting about the Gum Arabic, I didn't know anything about it. Thank you for sharing. ❤ (I'm sorry to hear you and your family have been sick. I hope you're doing lots better now)
I am hoping to join the membership channel in the new year if my finances can finally allow!!!!!. Your painting channel has absolutely transformed my daily desire and practice of allowing myself to be creative in such a fun and whimsical way, regardless of what brand paints I have or don’t have or quality of my brushes/paper (or lack there of!!!!). I yearn for 4pm each day when I can paint blobby birds a or whatever for a few minutes! The birds are what I have been Enapt with since finding and following for the last month since discovering your channel. I wish the RUclips algorithms had relayed it months ago when I was searching fruitlessly [[watercolours(!)]]….. but your approach and techniques and paintings surpass anything that was suggested by AI and furthermore has been exactly what my soul needed. Thank you so much. For the first time in years my brushes and paints and paper have lived to see the light of day. I am so grateful for your gentle inspiration! Blob on! Sincerely, A “blobbering” mess over here, and very grateful for it!
Thanks so very much for your kind words and for bringing me a smile this afternoon !! I’m so glad you found us and are enjoying the channel. It’s because of folk like you that we work so hard to bring you good stuff to help you on your artistic journey! Keep painting and keep watching and hoping to see many more comments from you! All the best, Diane xxx
My hands get numb too, I use a nice CBD cream infused with a tiny bit of ThC & it really helps! You should be able to get some at a drug store. We have dispensaries here, it's legal. A real game changer for my crippled fingers.❤
Hmmm... thank you for the information... about gum arabic... I wonder if the tree is harmed in the collection of it or does the tree just weep the gum arabic like the pine tree will weep sap... Look forward to what ever video or blog post you make on it.. Hugs! deb
I used cold pressed Julie. I usually use cold press and will generally mention it if I do use hot pressed paper - the one I use mostly is Meeden because it is 100% cotton and inexpensive. Meeden Watercolor paper, cold press, 100% cotton, 140lb 12 x 9 inches: amzn.to/3WQZN6r

Hmmm... thank you for the information... about gum arabic... I wonder if the tree is harmed in the collection of it or does the tree just weep the gum arabic like the pine tree will weep sap... Look forward to what ever video or blog post you make on it.. Hugs! deb
I don’t think the trees need to be harmed, but apparently sometimes people stress them to get more sap out.
Did you use hot or cold press paper for this adorable painting Diane ? Finally decided to buy those paints today . Can’t wait to try them .

Dankeschön 😅
I love these! I have 2 in my cart and haven't pulled the trigger yet because I wanted to ask if you are possibly doing a mug with that darling one with the Santa hat?.....I love it!! Thanks for sharing all of these with us.
Which one with the Santa hat Kathy?
@@DianeAntoneStudio The single bird with the hat, the robin, (traditional) not the green ones.
For some reason unknown to me the language isn’t available in English. How to adjust it please. ❤
I’m afraid I don’t know what’s happening. Are you in the US?
Are you nervous about the Middle East? I love you videos!
No, Cairo is a long way from any trouble in the Middle East. Thanks for watching!
On my phone your video is in English but on my TV English is not an audio language you can select.
Same here! Want to watch it this evening.
I wann to hear in english.
I think the pen work outlining adds loads to the whimsy of the painting. Just saying.
