yes. and also a hearty "thankyou" for inspiring us all to play guitar/bass/drums/keys a little bit more. we need bands to keep inspiring young people to pick up instruments
While good, it’s very dangerous for the amp, Jack white is known to push those vintage amps to their breaking points, it helps he runs an mxr mini amp pedal to add the extra stuff you hear.
Love this. Raw rock. Direct. I recommend this band I found these quarantine days called RED CAN. Love the lyrics specially in So Young ruclips.net/video/Jmb10nXjyNg/видео.html
Found myself a guy in a small town, we married and have a simple life, in a quiet town, 46 years still together, with 3 sons. My oldest turned me onto The White Stripes in 1999, a rest year! The organ mouth thingy is fun, I love Jack White!!! Especially this song!!

Jack white!!!!!! On of the most amazing artist in my opinion.... And this band is some of the most talented musicians ever....gotta love their style and sounds
There is a rawness, in a very good way to this music! Unlike all the pre fabricated, pitch corrected, so called "artists" so common now. This is REAL Rock'n Roll IMHO!!
amazing! they naild it is great to know that our generation have great artist, after Nirvana everything looked like was done and now see us enjoying this awsome band... thank you Raconteurs and thank you for uploading this clip.
For me, it’s impossible to not like everything that Jack White has done since the first White Stripes record up to this day He combines blues, punk and raw garage rock of the 60’s beautifully in his music, and can put on a kickass live performance no matter who are/is with him on the stage
Love this. Raw rock. Direct. I recommend this band I found these quarantine days called RED CAN. Love the lyrics specially in So Young ruclips.net/video/fG6YTRGl984/видео.html
@Samu Tyrväinen Traditional grip was originally invented for marching purposes (it allowed you to hit a drum while walking), and has been transferred to the drum kit since the early jazz drummers had their origins in military drumming. It's really just a tradition passing from generation to generation. Although, some do say that you can get better subtleties with it than with matched grip. But really it's more of a cosmetic thing than anything.
Good times, before cell phones flooded the audience, when people actually enjoyed the experience and relied on memory to bring back the sweetness of the moment.
Now jack has banned all phones at his shows. I saw them last November and everyone was actually cool about it and it was a badass experience without 800 screens in front of you
Love this. Raw rock. Direct. I recommend this band I found these quarantine days called RED CAN. Love the lyrics specially in So Young ruclips.net/video/fG6YTRGl984/видео.html
mmm quite good HD, you dont really have the chance to see The Raconteurs this nice and clean on youtube but oh hell this is heaven! Cant wait no more for the next album to come out i got this feeling is gonna be a new classic of this golden rock generation
I love the duality, especially in the intro, between Brendan's clean Tele sound and Jack's characteristic distorted, polluted sound - and how well they complement each other.
That crowd is the crowd every rock band dreams of playing in front of
why?
kostas24695 No constant screaming, the crowd is just flowing with the music, people having the time of their live and NO FRICKN' PHONES IN THE AIR
Best crowd ever
Look for the The Strokes in Argentina or Rush in Rio de Janeiro
So you just mean Belgium ;-)
This is the band that every teenage band wishes they were.
Yep lol..
Louis Trefgarne Too right! Me and my friends once played a horrible cover of this at a high school event
Felix Brueggemann haha we've all done the horrible cover of this song in front of people. good times
God it was dreadful. I think we all owe them a collective apology for butchering their song
yes. and also a hearty "thankyou" for inspiring us all to play guitar/bass/drums/keys a little bit more. we need bands to keep inspiring young people to pick up instruments
A good example of how to play a "radio" type of song live, with all the extra dynamics added
Kyyp3r you mean bad singing?
Kyyp3r sorry, I don't quite get what's good about the singing
MüsliManTV he never said anything about the singing dumbass
MüsliManTV the singing is great, the fuck you on about?
MüsliManTV it’s great
Jack is one of the most talented musicians. Extremely creative TALENT!
Jack White's guitar sound in the intro.....incredible....
While good, it’s very dangerous for the amp, Jack white is known to push those vintage amps to their breaking points, it helps he runs an mxr mini amp pedal to add the extra stuff you hear.
He uses a boss ds-1 Among other petals but that’s the main. And of course he is pushing his amp to its max and sometimes past.
Sam Anderson is it boss? I thought it was MXR? I wonder how many amps he’s blown haha?
Love this. Raw rock. Direct. I recommend this band I found these quarantine days called RED CAN. Love the lyrics specially in So Young ruclips.net/video/Jmb10nXjyNg/видео.html
It’s usually the DS-1 with a MicroAmp. Or a Big Muff Pi with a MXR MicroAmp. I think Jack’s learned the hard way with those older amps.
Jack White is all blood, sweat and tears
This was a hot band, a hot crowd and a hot show! Everything you could possibly want in a Rock gig!
Maybe it was just hot there /s
This is my favourite live performance of steady as she goes. Ever.
Check out the his Paris '22 concert---it's even better. Sound from L'Olympia venue in Paris is amazing.
This song made me a Jack White fan. This version is really good.
Found myself a guy in a small town, we married and have a simple life, in a quiet town, 46 years still together, with 3 sons. My oldest turned me onto The White Stripes in 1999, a rest year! The organ mouth thingy is fun, I love Jack White!!! Especially this song!!
Great drummer! Love that he is playing whit traditional grip
That's the masterpiece!
Yessss!!!!
the bass dudeeee 😎
The live versions of this song are better than the album I think. Jack gets a little looser with the vocals and it just sounds so great.
Every Jack White song is better live
Love this. Raw rock. Direct. I recommend this band I found these quarantine days called RED CAN. Love the lyrics specially in So Young ruclips.net/video/Jmb10nXjyNg/видео.html
@@SpaghettiShaq Amen to that! He makes it so worthwhile to see perform live. Seen him twice now, and will always go whenever he has a gig nearby
I get the very same feeling from his "Dead leaves and the dirty ground"
Their voices are shot to hell.
This such an epic performance, man just what we need at this moment....True art and rock and roll
Love how after the intro battling guitar parts there's just a pause for jack like, "Yeah, I just beat you Brendon"
To be fair, there's no a lot of guitarists that could beat him
Jack white!!!!!! On of the most amazing artist in my opinion.... And this band is some of the most talented musicians ever....gotta love their style and sounds
What I wouldn't give to see these musicians reunite. I'm kicking myself that I never got a chance to see them play together live!
Dyllan Tyrril Aren't they still together?
MüsliManTV Technically they haven’t broken up but they haven’t played together in years
They announced a comeback recently
They’re making a new album!!!
they're touring!!!!
All those people together and jumping. Those were the great old days.
awesome tune
that is one brilliant rock moment right there
There is a rawness, in a very good way to this music! Unlike all the pre fabricated, pitch corrected, so called "artists" so common now. This is REAL Rock'n Roll IMHO!!
OMG the intro was so good
The crowd clapping on 2 and 4 at the start cured my soul
I remember this song bumping on KROQ back when I lived in LA mid 2000’s definitely a staple of that eras Rock Era
The Mic is a placid audio copper Mic through a zvex tremolo probe for the stutter effect.
Miles Head thank you, I was about to ask this
Or you could ask me I've got a great little stutter effect in real life.
amazing! they naild it is great to know that our generation have great artist, after Nirvana everything looked like was done and now see us enjoying this awsome band... thank you Raconteurs and thank you for uploading this clip.
The ultimate version of this song was done by them on Austin City Limits a couple of years ago. Mind-blowing!
Day 39 of listening to this song everyday for a year!
For me, it’s impossible to not like everything that Jack White has done since the first White Stripes record up to this day

Jack White is a musical genius.
This is incredible, nuff said
The backing vocalist is kickass.
Jack and Brandan are so awesome together
Jack White is one of the greats!!!
This is MUSIC.
I saw them in 2019. Definitely one of my top 3 live shows ever.
Gotta love that bassline :)
Brendon's solo is extremely underrated here.
Gotta love how the drummer's playing one of the hardest rocking songs with a traditional jazz grip
His style makes it sound very snappy vs a modern grip. I don't think the beat works without having that snap to it.
Anyone who was at this concert, you were really very lucky. '"Steady as She Goes"
I love the words to this song...
Jesus.. I'm addicted to that song for some reason :D especially this live version with the variety
Best performance of this song ever
What a crowd!! So good!
I think the argument is that they're more interested in remembering the moment, then actually living it.
WoW!What a fantastic groove-love it!!!
Simple, beautiful lyrics and killer guitar, what else do you need
great sound!!! very soulful!
Jack White is a marvel on his guitar.🤠♥️👍🏽🇺🇸
One word: AWESOME
Good times, before cell phones flooded the audience, when people actually enjoyed the experience and relied on memory to bring back the sweetness of the moment.
Shut up
Now jack has banned all phones at his shows. I saw them last November and everyone was actually cool about it and it was a badass experience without 800 screens in front of you
@@broc8095 I will never understand why people insist on being a crappy camera man instead of enjoying what is in front of them 100%
Jack White always intense..so fun to watch
what a fookin performance
jacks' face at 3:14, priceless :D
great performance of patrick swayze on guitar !!
Best crowd I've seen in a while in live videos! Cool stuff
I could feel the energy of the song. Awesome version!
A proper gig 👍
Jack White is the freshest human being
Are you steady NOW?!?
Really great song and great live performance.
Such a badass song!
been listening to mostly pop now for years. jack's vocals here made me really miss my 2000's rock.
Wow what a performance of an already awesome song
what a band they where, the first 2 albums are as good as it gets.
One of the few good bands of recent times ain't been many but this is Def one
This is better than the recording.
Don't see that often.
Listen closely people, that's what music is
this is the best rock song
Wow, this is even better than the studio version. 🤘🎸
gotta love Jack in this one
Flawless performance of a great song. Cheers
My fave out of all Jack's many projects.
This is a great version of this song
But we will never come even a bit close to how awesome this band is:)
I don't think Jack could be anymore godly if he tried, omfg
Cool song, really bumps.
What a crowd!
the ultimate crank it up song. that's a great band.
We can't wait to watch the full show !!
She is steady.i love .rock on.
Love this. Raw rock. Direct. I recommend this band I found these quarantine days called RED CAN. Love the lyrics specially in So Young ruclips.net/video/fG6YTRGl984/видео.html
That crowd was so bad ass!
This is very good...
Patrick Swayze on rhythm guitar.
👍I got the same thought
Heck yeah, that's him.
@@Kathayne636 Are you guys joking? It's Brendan Benson
@@userPrehistoricman of course they’re joking
LOL jajajaja
what a crowd.
The one like that will grow over time
mmm quite good HD, you dont really have the chance to see The Raconteurs this nice and clean on youtube but oh hell this is heaven! Cant wait no more for the next album to come out i got this feeling is gonna be a new classic of this golden rock generation
I finally found this video again!
I love the moment at 0:51 where Jack's and Bendan's right arms sync up perfectly :P
02 de dezembro de 2019 música boa não acaba nunca .... hoje não tem bandas como antes.
I love the duality, especially in the intro, between Brendan's clean Tele sound and Jack's characteristic distorted, polluted sound - and how well they complement each other.
Best band
I wouldn't go that far
I had no idea this was Jack White as I heard it on the radio. I thought it was the Hives or the Strokes or someone like that.
Groovy tune!
God damn, Jack White, you are beautiful.
This is one band that every single member knows their shit about music. Virtuosos all. Damn. Baller.
vachement bien....grande musique...grand Jack .....grand Montreux....souvenir j y etais
Jack White rules!!
I miss them so much.
Looks like the boys were having fun.
Miss that !
