Sometimes you have to fall from the path in order to realize how important staying on the path is. In a way, it's a blessing that you feel unwell having "cheated." I'm glad to see you looking great otherwise! Looking forward to your one year video and your next MRI results 🎉🎉 congrats on one year! 😊

Hair sheep. Small, easy to take care of, and do excellent on mixed pasture. No shearing necessary and easier than goats.

Goats. You can eat them, milk them, and use their wool or hair. :) And they eat brambles!

Wow! Almost a year of carnivore. So amazing to see your progress and don’t sweat the occasional blip. I try to stick firm to keto but with a busy work and family life it’s hard not to sneak the occasional carb snack here and there, or to refuse food others offer when socialising. I think once you are in mainly fat adapted mode you can get back on track quicker than when first starting. And as you say it’s solidifies your reason for doing the diet as you feel worse off it . Your place looks amazing 🤩 xxx

I’ve had a similar experience falling off the wagon. I only was eating maybe 100g carbs “healthy” options over 4 days and I felt as rough as hell and my pain and fatigue began returning. Been full carnivore again for a few weeks now and thankfully reversed that damage.

‘No!’ That’s what I thought reading your thumbnail. You don’t want to relapse. Just like I don’t want to be addicted to sugar and alcohol again. However, we’re all human and the beauty of this way of eating is we get right back on that journey. Really enjoy your story and looking fwd to your onward story. 👏🇦🇺

If you can get a spray bottle and some vinegar, that will help with the smells.

You should connect with a farmer near by and allow him to put his cows or sheaps or what ever to grase on your beautiful land, they are always looking for pasture, and right now is the time they feed the cows grass, because they are having babys

I love how you are so down to earth and admit your faults and hold yourself responsible. Refreshing!!!
Here in the US it’s a rarity for fems to be that way. I traveled through Galicia as a young man and loved it. So green and the people so nice.

It looks beautiful there. As for not posting videos and falling off the carnivore wagon my Mom had a saying "sometimes life gets in the way". Stuff happens. You are now more driven to prioritize your diet and your health, which is good. Congryon it being a year soon! Continue to be healthy.

What a beautiful piece of land! Glad to have an update. I started adding coffee back into my diet, with some maple syrup and heavy whipping cream. It was delicious. I did it for almost 2 months, knowing full well it was causing me more pain and some of my health problems were starting to come back. I'm 2 days coffee-free and losing my freaking mind, so I ate a few crackers and had some fruit-sweetened Spindrift sparkling water to help me as I get past the coffee/sugar addiction calling me. haha. Then back to a full carnivore diet - I felt so much better eating only meat.

Sheep or goats will help you keeping the grass in check, also the hens. Ask in the nearest village when and where is the next feria and if they sell animals.

    • @francisvlatko2834

Goats would be perfect for the brambles but you got to keep them on a chain because they eat everything including rope!
Pets cost money, so isn't it better to get animals that can be a lawnmower and provide food for you? A cow or a couple of sheep will work wonders with your fields. It's the sustainable way. Multiuse animals. You can also barter with the harvested wool, meat etc.
Btw - luv your neon mushroom!

Don’t worry about falling off the wagon - it’s hard, considering we’ve had X years of carbs and indoctrination. A lack of support is also a challenge and by the way the @5minutebody person said she was in Portugal so you could try reaching out to her. Who knows, she might be nearby.

Vinegar works wonders for smells ! Is the van usable? Also bicarbonate of soda and oxygen peroxide are inexpensive. Beware of snakes coming out as soon as the temperature rises. Here in Italy (Tuscany) it’s in May . Good luck with everything . Looking forward to seeing your mri results!

Plenty of land to survive, sure they had an old oven outside to cook bread with wheat harvested there, as well most of the places they had room under the house to keep the pigs and killed them in December and make jamon etc.
