    bro I owe you a beer if we ever should meet. I'm pretty good with cars but didn't realize there was one fuse under the dash for the "cigarette lighter" and one under the hood for power outlet. my left front and middle 12v sockets haven't worked since I got my 2018. I've looked at many videos that never mention the power outlet fuse. I checked that amd sure enough it was blown. I replaced it with the extra fuses in the hood for box now all of them work! thank you so much for this video!

    Thank you so much! I had blown out both fuses trying an air fryer with a 400w inverter (I know dumb move) and never changed the fuses - cut to now where I’m boondocking and one of my tires has a slow-fast-leak (lol), so I bought a heavy duty inflator from Walmart in hopes I could use my 300w power station to fill up my tire…of course it did not work 🤦🏻‍♂️ now I’m stuck at a car wash place, spinning figuring out what am I going to do, I RUclipsd it and found your video which was extremely helpful even for my 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe. I found a spare fuse and filled up my tire. It may not seem like much to others, but for someone not mechanically inclined at all or know much about vehicle fuses, I had no idea my car had spares. So, thank you kindly for posting this.

    • @VirarAutomotive
      @VirarAutomotive  2 месяца назад

      You only get current in there when the key is on ACC or ON. I suggest you make sure the car key is in ACC or ON position and then try again. If that doesn't work then the port itself is faulty and needs to be replaced.

    Hi I have a Hyundai Elantra 2013. my USB part doesn’t work anymore and the radio doesn’t light up, but it still works.
    I am curious to know which fuse is it for my car for the USB port/what is the name of it??
    My car unfortunately didn’t come with a manual because it was used when I brought it.
    I’m desperate bc I normally listen to music from my phone😩I’m really hoping it’s not a wiring issue.

    • @VirarAutomotive
      @VirarAutomotive  Год назад +1

      Hi,
      I am not sure which fuse it is for the USB port specifically. Often for these cars the solution for the problem with the USB port/aux input is to replace the part. The part itself isn't too expensive and there are videos on RUclips that show you how to replace it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. :(

    • @VirarAutomotive
      @VirarAutomotive  3 года назад +1

      Hello. 2 things come to my end. 1) Wiring issue 2) you are plugging something too powerful (more than the outlet's capacity ) and that's causing the fuses to blow again.

    • @VirarAutomotive
      @VirarAutomotive  9 месяцев назад

      1) Was there something in particular that you plugged in the power outlet that might have caused it to blow ? Something higher powered? Did both the outlets stop working ?
      Just trying to see if you can maybe diagnose the issue without having to replace the outlet. I don't have a video on how to replace the outlet and I don't have access to this car anymore either to make a video on it. :(
