Thanks and great video🤘🏼 for me its a Hit it looks very nice in my eyes. Love the different color of the LEDs light. Looks very good. But i agree it would be really cool if it would come with the batmobile and maybe a little batman figure. But the rest overall is well done to me🔥

Vert cool piece! It definitely needs a batmobile and figures included with it to help justify the price.

Half hit Half miss, can't believe they invested all that detail and lighting with no bat mobile, way over price should have been $400 to $500 tops, great review Chris 👍

    It’s a hit I would have loved this as a kid 👍

  • @outsider238
    @outsider238 3 года назад +7

$400 tops. These companies are starting to take advantage of collector's abilities to subjectively and logically, in their minds justify what some of these pieces are really worth. They charge this much because they know there are those that will pay it even though they know common sensically that this is incredibly overpriced. To justify the $900 price tag, it needs to be bigger, include the Batmobile and maybe some figures.

  • @flechman63

I love it as a cool piece of art that takes me back to my days as a kid. Miss due to the size I would want it larger for that price point

I mean the very first thought that went through my head was the prototype batcave we saw at conventions a couple years back. A comic/BTAS accurate bat cave that was super customizable and if i remember correctly, took up the better half of an entire wall. Im not sure the status of that piece, but i remember being ready and willing to pay thousands for it so seeing this was just pretty lackluster. No batmobile, only 9” in height, making it very niche.

I wrote the following review 3 years ago. NOTE: I actually purchase 3 more of these 1:50 Scale Batcave Sculptures immediately following my receiving the 1st one. The 3 additional caves were sold by me for $1,200 each to collectors who missed out on the original release. The 1st release was limited to just 250 units. It appears that demand caused Factory Entertainment to re-release the exact item in the 2nd half of 2022. ************** My review in April 2019 was as follows: I am a TV Batman fan being a 63yo kid (with a post-grad education) who has collected HO Scale Slot Cars since '64. I debated making this purchase for a few days because it is pricey, but then (thankfully) I pulled the trigger. Upon receipt, I immediately realized that this was a true work of art and a "MUST HAVE!" Everyone will want one or wish wish they had one, so future value is a certainty. It represents the pinnacle collectible for the Classic TV BATMAN Series enthusiast! Only 250 will be made for world-wide consumption. I suspect they will be gone by the end of Spring 2019 and they will approach $1000 each by then. Then the people who purchased theirs to resell will raise the price even higher for those who did not get one now. This Batcave Sculpture will NEVER be as affordable as it is TODAY (April 2019). Fact is that nobody will sell it for less than what they sell for right now! The detailing and lighting scheme is simply fantastic and its salute to the original TV series is flawless. You will NOT be disappointed. What are you waiting for? **************** The 2nd release Batcave is pricey at close to $,1000 delivered. And I suspect with today's IRS Tax rules it will be even higher. The collectors will love it. Best to all! HAC

This is example of the more money than brains club purchase. It's a neat concept but it's not near enough for $1,000 price tag. Don't forget shipping people. This is not even a accurate depiction of the batcave of the '60s era. And not one computer lights up, no no no. Manufacturers are getting out of hand thinking that all products they make are gold, we need to send a message to them that their products are not a must have at any price product. The market is now flooded with much better statues, with much better prices. Two thumbs down on this one Chris. Thanks for the review keep up the good work

Great video Chris. This piece really takes me back to my childhood. I use to watch this show religiously. My favorite episodes were the ones that included Yvonne Craig as Batgirl. As much as I'd like for this piece to be a "Hit", for me, it's a huge "Miss". The main reason why is that price point. $905 for that scale and no Batmobile included?! For that price, they absolutely needed to include not just the Batmobile, but with Batman and Robin inside of it and Alfred waiting to receive them inside the cave. I would even throw in Batgirl on her motorcycle as well just to complete the team. If it had those missing elements, then it would be a "Hit" and a day one pre order for me. Sadly, it does not, so it's an easy pass for me. Thanks for the review.

Hi Chris well to be totally honest with the close-up pictures especially on that reactor. Looks like it's made out of balsa wood and cocktail sticks. And the paint job looks terrible it looks like a DIY fan as made that.$900 more like $5. May sound harsh but I'm sorry

  • @masudashizue777

Hey Chris! Hope all is well my friend. Hey have you seen the first final product photos of the 1/3 Prime 1 / blitzway Heath Joker that is floating around out there? They are soooo bad that I just can’t even believe it! It’s my first 1:3 statue I have pre ordered and I don’t know if I should cancel. I know, I know we should never go off the first photos but it’s freaking me out! lol. Your expert advice is appreciated! I will be so bummed if these photos are true. As always love your channel and god bless good sir!

I remember growing up and watching Adam West and co and the show was one of my favorites. However, the $900 price point is way, way off in my view . It would have been much more appealing if some of the characters and the Batmobile were also included in the price. Unfortunately, a big miss for me. Edit - It's a real shame, because at a reduced price this would undoubtedly be more appealing for those who enjoyed the show.

  • @Pravuss

Man I would say it's a must for your Batcave, really cool diorama. But the price is just too much. I think if it came with a Batmobile, and at least an Alfred it would have been a little easier to justify the price.

  • @presterjohn71

  • @MiseryMediaProd

The measurements you mention arent very big considering the size of most of the pieces on here . If it was a 1/32 scale that would justify a 900 dollar price tag possibly .It is beautiful and this was the Batman I grew up with but i think its to small for the price

    • @midnitedip8850

To imagine the scale a 1/50 batmobile is about the length of your thumb so it's pretty small. If it's not polystone its way overpriced imo. And probably doesn't come with a batmobile because of licencing issues.

    • @savvy727

I do scale modeling as a hobby as well. 1/48 scale is one of several standard scales for airplanes and tanks, which to the naked eye is practically the same as 1/50. The driver/pilot figure is about half the size of an adult male thumb...but the vehicle? Well, a batmobile would probably be around the size of a iphone. Either way, beautiful execution but with no figures or batmobile to add more meaning its overpriced.

Chris Have you ever thought about getting into marvel(at least for in between statues)?
I saw all your videos about having focus,BUT time has changed, even hottoys collectors are getting in statue collecting!
As a RUclipsr you know how much marvel fans are out there and by unboxing their favorite collectibles your chanel get bigger, even selling them in aftermarket eill help your batcave finances & just like you said in between times are getting longer it’s maybe the time to consider it instead of spending your money on ninja line which is nothing new
