- A short space battle video I've been working on for a while. One of my goals is to finally put together an amazing space battle that will incorporate mini-figures along with lego models like the ones used in this video (though much better). My skills just aren't up to the level I want them to be for the epic production I am dreaming of making, and I want that video to be fabulous. This video is just another step towards that final goal. Compared to Troopers Episode 8, my ability to make a space battle has drastically increased yet again. Eventually, I want to be able to make an epic space battle, but I want to be sure I am able to excellently put on that production.

Another idea: Alien Invasion!
+Jim Jimk That was in 12 fps. An alien invasion is probably too hard for me, but I still love the idea of using minifigs in my battle.
Have you seen my Troopers episode 8? It's the first space battle I ever did, but it does a lot of cool stuff but it uses a bunch of minifigs. Actually Troopers has a bunch of really awesome battle scenes you would love, particularly towards the second half of the series. Just today actually, I found a way to make 3d Lego models and then export then into Blender which I used for my visuals. That's huge for me because Blender is a completely 3d environment and gives me so much more freedom to film my battle scenes and I can do so much more in Blender than with actual stop motion.
You can make the aliens out of green clay.
Kikos313 Aliens might be a little beyond me but a better space battle is not :)
How did you make it in space and add lasers
+Daniel Beddingfield I filmed the spaceships against a green screen and then added laser effects using Blender 3D.

+Daniel Beddingfield Thank you! These vfx were pretty basic. Some of my more recent videos have used a lot of rotoscoping and 3d elements

What software did u use to make this?
I primarily use Blender 3D to sequences my images and add the visual effects elements. I get the individual effects elements free royalty from footagecrate.com
