He is a national treasure to us bikers over here in the UK. If you are a non biker though you'll find most Brits don't know who he is! Bike racing is one of those sports here that isn't followed as much as others. You must have global champions from the US that people in the UK know better than someone in the US I'm guessing?
Absolute legend!!! Had the joy of sharing a garage with him for Bennets day last year, really nice guy, legend!! Came past me on a classic Ducati like I was standing still!!
Thank you John for giving me so much pleasure watching you race at TT, I have been going every year for last 20 years, usually watch from Braddan Bridge and love to see your line through there, stay safe and good luck. 👍🇬🇧
Brilliant video guys. So natural on camera John and such a nice guy as well as a great rider! Thanks for taking the time to put this on John and Bennett’s guys 🙂 and 👍 to some good questions.
You think that is appropriate do you? Care to explain it to his daughter seeing you think its no big deal. He is a immature disrespectful twat. Your idea of a real man and mine are very different and as for legend, your a long way behind.
@@bluespig1 For God sake have a laugh, get a sence of humour, getting your knickers in a twist over nothing, John is a great husband and father, his two little girls are so.lucky to have a jolly dad. I was such a child , my dad and self were like two peas in a pod, a wonderful father is a blessing.
We watched the super bike race there in 2006 I think. Thw year guy was.leading from #1 and steve plater had a huge tank slapper there on every single lap it was horrendous.
From first question had me laughing......the bike felt like being on top of my wife!!!hahhahahaha.....luv this guy....as only the king of the mountain could describe!!
Great question about the tank slapper! I had one a few years ago at about 60 mph when I hammered my throttle going down a hill and hit a bump. Nearly lost all my piss. Can't imagine it at 180.
Hi John, it’s a brick hodder to give it’s official title or a brick hod 😉 Builders daughter, mi dad would be proud I remembered that god rest his soul. He taught me to pebble dash in the summer holidays when I was 8, it’ll be fun he said.........🤣👍🏻
Had a “tank slapper” which broke the steering lock - my brothers elderly FZR600, full throttle at about 70mph accelerating on a bumpy lane near Kenilworth. Frightening! I can’t imagine one at TT speeds ......
It's a brick hod for carrying bricks. Nice chair. Nice SP1000 too. Met him at the Northwest 200 a few years back... He had a broken finger taped up on his right hand but used it anyway to shake mine. Legend.!!
im not shore on the name but that's for holding bricks when climbing up ladders, plus i've got my signed helmet from the TT with McGuiness signature it sits in my living room
I do believe my missus sold you those John! She wanted me to ask if you’ve done anything with your other purchase? All the best from Michaela and I. Stay safe!
And everyone was told - no Norton questions! Do not mention the name Stuart Garner! I actually think John's the type of guy to punch Stuart on the nose and make his eyes water...
Its a hod for carrying bricks. Where's my prize? lol. Keep safe everyone. Hopefully be out on the bikes soon. Aragon WSB confirmed for August. Great news. I'll be there!!

I wish John could have given his take on it all. It's a very weird outcome to what looked initially like an amazing success story for Norton.
That's a thing for hauling bricks. I'm an electrician so thankfully never had the pleasure. 🍻
