I have had such great luck with all my village Candles, they always throw great for me and burn with little to no soot-I love them. It’s a shame you had bad luck with yours . Hopefully if you purchase again , you’ll have a better experience.
I got Apple Evergreen this year from Village and was impressed. 6 throw, lingered after being put out and pooled quickly, clean burn. It was a slim not traditional tumbler. My Yankee didn't pool after a monitored 7 hour burn😅
I love your videos you make me laugh every time. I would love to meet you in person since we both love in VA. Our humor is similar. Thanks for being you! 💚
Christmas Coal is in the Last Chance sale section if you’d like to stock up before it’s retired. A few of my faves are there, too. (Anjou & Allspice, Iced Citrus, Pumpkin Peppercorn, and Fruit & Flakes).😕 Hope to find new favorites. Thanks for sharing your January burns.🤗 R☘️
Alas, the heyday for Village candle has passed, especially since Stonewall Kitchen took over the company. Not many new scents, lots of repackages with up to five different labels, same scent. Having said that when chunked for the melter they can fill a room.. It’s sad as at one time they performed so much better than Yankee who have now really responded to what buyers want. Great video as usual. Pam UK.
Have you burned Yankees, Citrus & Sage? I’m a BBW candle girl, but I keep smelling that one at Walmart and I think I like it.. I love you videos so much, I binge you alot😊
I am really glad you addressed the Lavender Vanilla candle isn't the aromatherapy line! I've steered FAR clear from that one because the LV aromatherapy is ICK!! You're making me really jealous of the perfect Winter candle...I also missed out on one of my faves which is Winter White Woods. Sounds like they're in the same vein..? If you eventually decide to splurge on a Lafco ( because you SHOULD!) definitely go with the 6.5 oz or the 30 oz because I'm convinced the 15.5 oz will always tunnel.
It IS ick 😂 And I’ve never tried Winter White Woods 🫣 I really wanted to this year but it was only briefly an online exclusive, and I didn’t get one. Yes to 6.5 rather than 15.5. With those luxury candles, the larger 1-wick version is always a bad choice!
I got this one from Target www.target.com/p/5-2-34-x-4-7-34-stoneware-and-matte-clay-wax-warmer-white-threshold-8482/-/A-77456866 I did get a stronger bulb to put in it. I see that it is clearanced right now but they always have new designs 😉
Agreed that if a candle isn’t satisfactory under a warmer then there is DEFINITELY something wrong lol
Right??!!

Gosh I hope so!! Many of their fragrances are quite good.

@@judemorales4U I was curious about that candle . I’m not a huge apple fan but intrigued with any green notes , is it more apple dominant ?
Loved this video!!

Iced Citrus is soooo good it was just too weak 😭
@@coffeecandles3359 Agreed. I’m considering getting a hurricane to enjoy the lighter candles. 🤷♀️
❤...burning "Blush Poinsettia"...feels like a Feb candle to me🤷♀️

Yes I think I have back in the day. That is a very old Yankee candle!

I am just curious! What kind of candle warmer do you have and where did you find it ? Thanks 🙏🏻

I also got this one from Amazon for top-down warming

I use this one to correct tunneling candles and to get 1-wicks started, etc 😉
The poor performance of candles from most candle companies reduces the enjoyment derived from this avocation, sad.
That's why I bought a candle lamp. You get the fragrance without the funky smell or poor wicks.
