I like the setup on the GT. I just won an auction but haven't received the MD yet. Can't wait to play with it. For the water, I have a Garrett Infinium with Anderson Shaft and 4 different coils. I've watched the Waterproofing of the GT also. Very Interesting stuff that I might have to look into.
Is the Sovereign a PI machine? Small piece of advice, if you don't mind...If you do then i apologize and you can ignore my next statement.... You should keep your coil as close to the ground as you can...if you can sweep it right on the groung and do not swing it like a pendulum. Just some friendly advice. Thanks for the videos, I do enjoy seeing the different equipment you have. When you show a machine if you could give us the price range (roughly, you dont have to say exactly what you spent). Good Luck and Happy Hunting TTD
No the Sovereign is VLF like the Excalibur both use Broad Band Spectrum multifrequency, in that way they are similar to the Etrac and the CTX 3030. I try to keep it close and swing it in a horizontal arc rather than like a pendulum, but the Sovereign is heavy enough that you have to remain conscious on each swing to adjust it correctly. I will include the price range next time and thanks for the feedback.
