    Nice video, but you made a few mistakes, mostly cosmetical
    1:00 the supernova only caused the the dust cloud to spin, gravity did the rest
    1:20 Image waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay not to scale
    1:30 the earth certainly wasn't green or blue back then, more the color of molten rock
    1:33 the "big chunk" was a lot bigger, about the size of Mars, wich means it was round and also molten
    1:40 The moon is waaaaaaaay too close here
    1:48 Not to scale
    2:00 Pangea was only the last supercontinent, not the only one. In Kambrium there was mostly just ocean with small islands
    2:50 The Premian did kill over 90% of marine species, but only about 3/4 of land species
    4:15 The largest bird maybe, but the largest flying creature was the Quetzacoatlus with the wingspan of 10 meters
    5:25 The KT extinction that killed the dinosaurs basically had a size limit. All creatures up to a certain mass went extinct because of climate-related food shortage
    5:55 Seriously, "the first humans, homo sapiens"? Homo sapiens is us. The first "human" is probably the Australopithecus. (3,5 mil. years ago)
    I really like Your videos, but please fact check some of these.

    Then there was the second child named cotton.
    He asked his mother, "mommy why am I named cotton?"
    Mommy responds, "because when you were born, a cotton ball dropped on your head.
    Then there was the third child - named Brick.

      Exactly, for example, no, grass was definitely around during the Dinosaur time period, in fact, jungles covered the planet. There were many different supercontinents before Pangea. And T-Rex was around during the late Cretaceous and not the Triassic. In fact, there’s a much bigger gap between the Triassic period and T-Rex than there is from T-Rex to today.

      Where did the supernova star come from?

    • @dascorncakes1151
      @dascorncakes1151 7 лет назад

      Supernova star isn't a thing, if you're wondering stars and planets are created from gaseous clouds made from fundemental minerals like Iron, Zinc copper and those fundementals are made from carbon, carbon is called the building block of life for a reason. Those clouds came from exploding stars

    • @markant9534

      Where did these first stars come from?

    • @bradleydrake6122
      @bradleydrake6122 7 лет назад

      The universe had the same amount of matter and energy as it has now, the universe was a gas cloud essentialially, these gases combined to make stars

    • @dascorncakes1151
      @dascorncakes1151 7 лет назад

      Where the first stars came from is unknown for the same reason we have no idea when the universe started, only difference between scientists and creationists is scientists don't put "god" anywhere without evidence and just do the objectively correct thing and say "well I dunno". But we have more evidence of the big bang and cosmic radiation than we do any type of god, be it Allah, Buddha or Jesus.

    If we manage to colony another planet or other celestial bodies (example : The Moon) we didn't really need to worry about human extinction, we just "move away" if Earth is inhabitable anymore due to asteroid impact, super volcano, or any other major catastrophe.

    Years ago, non-religious me (spiritual, though!) attended a Bible study. There were about 10 of us sitting around a big conference table. For my benefit that evening, they discussed Genesis. As soon as the pastor said the Earth is 4,000 years old, my hand shot up. I stated that the science of carbon dating puts dino bones at millions of years old. Without missing a beat, the pastor said, "Satan planted dinosaur bones". I looked around at the high school kids in attendance, hoping someone--ANYONE--would back me up. Apparently they had all been brainwashed.
    I stood up, threw both my hands in the air, and said: "I'm out".
    On that same "pilgrimage", I then tried my luck with a "metaphysical church". Things were fine-n-dandy for the first couple weeks...until I realized they ended EVERY session with a big "Kum-bai-yah". A little too "touchy-feely" / "culty" for my taste.
    Needless to say...I've not set foot in a church since. I'll stay "spiritual" and keep believing in Darwinism.

    I've been taught that a Mars-sized planet called Theia crashed into the proto-Earth, which led to the birth of the moon, but what is this chunks called Planetesimal in that video? Likewise, I have learned that the formation of Pangea took several million years and before that it was preceded by a number of previous supercontinents that piled up and broke up?

      if jake paul was a fossil, it would completely rock the foundation of modern science, it would mean a human existed in the time before evolution was even able to create them, and it would mean evolution would be wrong, or that in the future humans were able to time travel to the past, both of which would seriously completely change science forever.

    Since jellyfishes ruled most of the oceans, they have tentacles. Some stings are dangerous which can kill you. Some of them are harmless, which the harmless jellyfishes have mild stings or have no stingers.

    I like these animation videos, but i think you should also switch it up with real life videos and images. Or maybe make a new channel for that, because i really like the way you make these short documentaries but maybe it would be nicer with real life stuff mixed in to get a better idea how things really are (where).

      It's chance that were here, think about it, there are billions of galaxies, each containing billions of suns which are orbited by planets. In our galaxy, the milky way, there are like 10 billion star, and 100 million planets in the Goldilocks zone, 100 million! That's a 1 in 100000000 chance, as far as we know there could be more, in our galaxy alone. The chances of a planet which eventually contains life is like 99.99999999% but there would be like a trillion zeros behind it.

    So what i realized is every time an extinction happens, the resulting new life forms seem to be more complex, imagine what else could evolve to be smarter than us once were gone
