- Torrential rain and flooding have left more than a hundred thousand people displaced in the east of Sudan - with dozens of villages reportedly washed away.

It was sparked by a burst dam in Arbaat, north of Port Sudan - an area where many people have sought refuge from the civil war.
It's exactly 500 days since the conflict erupted between the Sudanese army and its former allies, the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, sparking what aid agencies have described as the world's worst ongoing humanitarian crisis.

I'm not on tiktok, but there are some great people raising awareness on Instagram about it. The situation is horrific.
As mentioned in the video Macklemore cancelled a show in the UAE, because they are funding the RSF. They haven't come out and explicitly supported them even unlike the other humanitarian crisis you're referencing. It's the activists that exposed the ties to the rest of us.
The U.S. on the other hand is supporting the eradication happening in you know where, by sending weapons, funding, disseminating disinformation and propaganda to incite against you know who, is standing against international law and potential justice.
So, it's a direct active party in what's happening there and has been happening for decades, hence the protests.
