Synopsis:
The TV drama is adapted from the Thai author Ms. Pitchaya Turdkwanchai's novel "Samee Ngern phon" (Translation: This Ordinary Man). It tells a story about a dominant female president Lu Fangning (played by Zhou Yutong), who is nearly 30 years old but has never had a fixed boyfriend. She believes: “Being rich and earning money are priorities." She was determined to develop a new home furnishing brand in the company, but she was required to get married and have children before getting a chance. Ling Rui (Gong Jun), a gentle and handsome male physician with high intelligence, became her goal. Lu Fangning tried all sexy tricks to seduce Ling Rui into submission while failed. She thought that Ling Rui was cold and passionless. Unexpectedly, Doctor Ling was waiting for an opportunity to turn back...

I completely understand her, but I think, personally, I would be just as unsure of a person's feelings if they literally used my family's debt to form a marriage contract and in general tried to make advances for a "baby", and tried to solve everything using money. I think both of them are a bit wrong here, him because he's not willing to give her even a bit of acceptance and her because she's not genuinely trying to listen to why he said he was unsure about her. Love's hard.

The writers of this drama is SO smart keeping audience feeling content.
If u notice, an episode never ended in a "negative" scenes/situation.
Despite our rough way in the beginning of episode, they manage to build back to slight comedy by making us focused on other pair WHILE FIXING the previous one!
SO SO SMART on writing fluff. Not too cheesy but manage to catch the comedy while being sweet 😄👍
I was trying to hold back my tears but when the package came and Ling Rui saw the adult size doll which has a print of his face, I lost it. T_T I don't think there's any cdrama that made me cry this hard while still early in the series.

I mean I hope it was not that, 'cause I really hope that their love is more like a family overprotectiveness ever since the passing of the female lead's sister, but the scenes definitely states that Simon is in love, and Fan Ning kinda realised it, and she kinda avoided Simon, and I think Simon realise that Fan Ning knows that he (used to? or maybe still?) loved her.

Zhou Yutong is really made for this role. I really really love her. Been watching all of her dramas for the past few days and realize that she's really a very excellent actress, aside from the fact that she's also very humble. I've binge watch all of her available interviews on RUclips and realize that she's just simply very funny in an intelligent way in real life.

I just laugh or cry or yell at the characters to my hearts content. When I cry my boyfriend checks with me to make sure I'm OK. Same for yelling or muttering at the characters. When I laugh I just get ignored. I do this for books too, so people in my life are used to it.

As I remember from the past episodes, Simon said to Ling Rui not to hurt Fangning and Ling Rui strongly replied that he will never hurt Fangning, but I think it's the other way around, seems that countless times already Fangning was been tortured by his cold and stiff actions.. I cried at the confrontation scene Fangning obviously let her heart cry out for the first time..

i can relate to lu fangning. im not an expressive person because in our house, we rarely show affections. her expressing her feelings and ling rui not taking it seriously (i understand bc of their current situation tho) frustrates me too. the feeling being misunderstood and treating as a joke while being vulnerable which barely happens is the worst thing you can experience. its honestly sickening when you feel like youre about to explode with so much emotions but cant express it to that person bc its not your forte.
