Thanks for the review! Greetings from the factory in Mora :)
I wish Mora made accessories for the less expensive kniv..is there a plan for them in the future?
Да и чтобы резина на ручках ножа не отслаивалась. И не липла.
The holes at the bottom of the knife sheath is useful for blowing air to the fire to, not only for remove water. Just blow thro the opening to the fire. You should promote that.
You cannot beat Mora knives for the value for the money. I own several different models including 2 Kansbols and they are all good to great.
Agreed!
I got stuck at the Mora 2000s, the handle is a great fit for smaller hands, got a Bushcraft Forest, went back to the 2000s and bought the anniversary model. I'll get around to a Kansbol eventually though.

Hi, new subscriber here, I love the garberg multi mount carbon.
I believe it's the ultimate survival knife .
The butt of the garberg is also very useful as a crushing/ pounding hammer,a fire steel , and a scraper as it too has a 90 degree edge ..
It don't get no better than the garberg .
Plus the fact that there's a drain hole in the plastic sheaths enables them to be used as a water filter with sand, cotton, and charcoal inside
...
Kind regards from England where only criminals have guns.
Mora is all the knife you'll ever need. In fact even the garberg is overkill, but looked after it and it will last you a lifetime.
Love the Companion and the Kansbol.
This is as tactical as it gets.
I'm a Mora fan too. I own 8 of them, my wife has 4. My favorite is the Companion Spark. I have 546, Eldris, Garber and a 511. I'm fond of Swedish things, being of Swedish heritage.
Mora makes some awesome knives for a great price. I have the Garberg, Kansbol, Bushcraft Black, and the Eldris. I agree with you about the Eldris. It's a very useful little knife, and makes a good companion knife for a larger blade. I like it far more than I thought I would.
Companion HD is also a wonderful knife👍
Great knifes!
Mora craftline robust is my favorite overall
Absolutely a very strong and useful knife. Mine is but one of many Morakniv knives I own, but the Robust is likely the most used and carried, along with the Companion HD.👍
My favorite Mora is all of them. Same with Victorinox.
All solid knives. So affordable I have multiple dispersed among my bags.
Thanks just bought the Garberg!
One thing to note is the Eldris will fit into the sheath to give you more reach but you need to remove 550 paracord first. Great review
Love them all👌. Kansbol, Robust, Basic, Eldris, Bushcraft Black and Bushcraft Orange! I own them and love their grips and blades!
Mora all around, I believe 8 inch. great knife plus companion HD
This was a GREAT video. I have a carbon Garberg (exactly the one you showed) and I LOVE it. Just like you said, it's a knife I'll likely have and use for the rest of my life.
I just ordered that Kansbol for my buddies birthday, and I think he will love it just as much as I love mine.
Really appreciate seeing the full range of Mora blades, thank you!
Great rundown of the Morakniv lineup! Not sure if you mentioned it but it’s important to note that the Spark has a very sharp 90 degree spine for striking the included Ferro rod, which is another difference from the Companion which has a rounded spine. Also, the Eldris has a sharpened spine. This is a feature that many people look for so it’s good to mention it. Great video, thanks!
I took care of that on both of my Mora's and no problem striking a ferro rod now.
I’ve got multiple moras and love ‘em all, so wonderfully sharp and easy to maintain the edge
Thanks for sharing your collection!
Low price, great value👍👌.
My one and only knive I am using when outside is the Companion. Great allround tool and I still cannot believe, how cheap it was.
I have 4 Companions, including the HD (thicker blade) and the 125th anniversary edition. In fixed blade, no one needs more than a Mora.
My favorite is actually the Mora Robust, about $15 like the craft line, but much thicker blade. I pair it with the ESEE Junglas for bug out blades. I got custom Kydex sheaths for them that was like 275% of the knifes' cost, lol!
I have the Robust. Well named, it’s tough.
I use my Companion HD nearly daily. That thing just keeps on keeping on. I beat it and it takes it.
I have three different Moras and they are all awesome tools for the field. Increasing my stock of Moras soon.
I have a couple seraded versions as well.
I actually use mora knifes every day. We live in our van. We need tools that are multipurpose so they check all the boxes. We use them as food prep, steak knives, box cutters, as well as bushcraft knives. I've been using them for 4 years every day. I've given several out as gifts as well. I first heard of them from David West RUclips Channel. He absolutely loves them too.
Hello Tim :
I do like your videos I find them very awesome
And I do have one Mora knife and I did pick the
Mora robust and I really like it I go fishing a lot but I do not use regular fishing knife at all but maybe I may get one
And I did attach my Mora knife with my black Gerber multi tool and to me
They are really good together and when I do go fishing at night time I do put them on my belt
And yes a little heavy but still works really well
Thanks and keep up the great work
And I really thank you and all the
Bushcraft people I do watch on
RUclips
And peace
I have most of the Moras you have shown in your video. All are very good knives. All of my grandkids use the companion HD in carbon for bushcrafting. I feel it is the best beginners bushcraft knife on the market period.
Totally agree. Solid and reliable. Thats what you want!!
Great video. Mora Companions for the quality and price?.... buy them by the dozen. Pretty soon you'll wish you did.
For me
Its best!!!
I own four Mora Knives: Craftline Basic 511 in stainless steel, Companion Heavy Duty in carbon steel, Bushcraft Forest in stainless steel, and Garberg in carbon steel. They have all served me well in various ways. Obviously, the Garberg is on a different level from the rest, but I would not give up any of them.
My favs are the kansbol, bushcraft black, mora 2000 anniversary and eldris
Sheath compatibility for the full tang?
Started with a Companion HD, did some things with it like a forced patina and ground the spine and did a cordage wrap on the sheath. It’s now my backup since I got the Garberg Carbon. I went with the survivor sheath.
Got quite a few different usually Nordic or German knives in the Sandvik and i can't tell the 12/14Cs apart, maybe you can with the YT rope tests and the like but not in regular everyday use.
Spot on. I use all these
I love all 12 of my mora's but I do wish the Kansbol had a more grippy handle like the bushcraft black. Not the same configuration, just the grippy texture. I find it to be a little slick on the Kansbol. The blade geometry is great, however. For the price, you can't beat Mora. Thanks for the video.
Have a search for the Mora Bushcraft Forest Knife. It has a very similar blade to the Kansbol ( fractionally thinner and a few mm longer) and the same grippy handle as the Bushcraft knife.
Round cutout in the sheath belt loop is made for special mount in work clothes. On my Snickers Workwear pants it’s on right side,m. It’s just two straps with metal button hidden under top strap. It secures the sheath tightly, right over the knee level. For work it’s much better place than the belt level, where you would keep something heavier like pliers, hammer, pouch with screws or bolts. pockets with screws or other
I have 2 moras and so far I love them I'm gonna order a stainless one for my next one
If you are a Portage or on the water a bunch, the cork handle model could be of interest!
Woow ton of options. Could you share a little more from what you like, what methid you use for sharpening? Regards and blessings from Costa Rica.
I have the companion , kansbol , and stainless garberg I wanted the carbon but bought the wrong one and to be honest I don't use char cloth so it didn't make a difference anyway all solid knives . Great video and the companion has been beat up and had it for a decade still soldiering on.
Nice video, I own the garberg , the bushcraft orange, and the Pathfinder ( love it) .
Cheers from a ranch in Sudamérica !!!
I'm a tall guy but with slim hands and I love the feel of my little eldris
Several years ago my wife went to Switzerland. She bought a mora companion. I loved it and lost it. Not that I can't find it. My wife uses it in the kitchen.
The Craftline feels more comfortable in the hand when held backwards which I think is kind of strange. Try it. Same with the Garberg and Kansbol. Mora should stick the blade into the other end.
Need a 510 in the collection.
I have a Mora Robust that I like a lot. I bought an after-market leather sheath for it that looks very nice made by H & D (Hide and Drink) : )
My first mora knife :)
@@thebest767 Mine Too! : )
I have, what used to be, a stainless steel Companion Spark in. The Ferro rod got broken so I made a few modifications to the handle. It's my favorite knife right now.
You can buy replacement mora firesteels you know.
@@mrdarren1045 yep. I had a bigger one so I made a few modifications to the sheath as well.
Can you tell me if the Kansbol fits in the craftline sheath? Not a fan of how deep the handle sits in the sheath it comes with
I have the craftsman and the Companion and love them both, but I really think the Garberg will be my next Mora
Go for the carbon unless you really need the stainless. I've had both and I found that for some unknown reason the micro bevel on the carbon is noticeably smaller. Maybe its because the carbon is less brittle and doesn't need the micro bevel as much as the stainless. It's also easier to sharpen and over all a tougher knife. The only advantage the stainless has is corrosion resistance and that isn't an issue to a lot of ppl, including me, even though I live in a very wet country.
I use the Eldris as a pocket knife. The Eldris Light Duty is about 20 versus about 30 for the normal Eldris. The Light Duty has a rounded spine. Have both.
Have you tried the morakniv floating knife I've been looking at that all winter
I do love their knives.. cheap .. functional.. maintainable. You can pay for a benchmade.. or buy 20 of these
That’s a great way to say it.
The Craft line is actually color coded. The red ones are carbon and blue ones stainless.
I have the bushcraft in tan with stainless steel. It's over 90° here in DFW area right now and you have snow on the ground??
Shot the video a bit ago.
got two of them.... one carbon and one stainless going to get the floating knife they make to take fishing... then i am done
The carbon companion has a 2mm blade thickness while the stainless has 2,5mm. The heavy Duty 3,2mm
Too bad you didn't try the mora forest, kansbol style blade with a companion style grip, my preference over the regular kansbol.
👋 ❤️ Mora 👍👌🆒️
I have a Garberg but it took some work to make it right. As far as the other knives I prefer the BPS adventurer cheaper then the kansbol and Bushcraft black. I also have a Hultafor OK4 it was $22. It blows the moras away.
I think mora is using Bushcraft gimmick to raise prices. BPS is a better option only downside is sheath is leather. So the blade and sheath need maintenance. The $22 Hultafor OK4 is unbelievable.
Anybody else remember the days before the internet when people just said “price” instead of “price point”? 🤔
I have a companion knife it's a very nice knife , I'll probably get a trailblazer knife next it looks interesting
Good evening Tim, I've got the companion love it use it so much but then others never really had a close look like this before at them thank you and may pick a couple up
I wish they would change some things up. E even it's just limited release colours like yeti tumblers. Or make an all rubber grip Garberg or in orange like kansbol. I do love my companion
Started with the companion twenty years ago and now have multiple Moras . The Eldris is the only one I didn’t like it needs a bit more blade length for my tastes .
That bushcraft knife is double that price now, paid 65 for mine at smkw, seen them for little cheaper online but not with shipping
As someone who lives & plays near water, especially saltwater, I like the floating (cork) stainless steel.
What, no Mora Classic 2 or 3? Unbelievable! 🤷🏻♂️
They’re the worst moras! The only ones I don’t like. Terrible sheaths and handles.
@@shamitoson We will need to agree to disagree, but I hope you enjoy whatever knife floats your boat.
@@ROE1300 thank you, you as well. That’s why they make so many different knives. We all have didn’t preferences.
Hello Tim and thanks for the video; I have a few Mora knives and although I prefer Esee and Tops over the Moras I am very fond of all the Moras. My 13 year old grandson loved my Mora Spark so much that I gave it to him; now I have to buy another.
There are 6 or 7 different knives in the craft line. One as cheap as $10.00.
You mean that your Mora doesn’t need to be an axe, sledgehammer or machete?!?? (Heavy sarcasm intended) Oh yeah, this a great and useful review of knives that should be used as intended and designed.
eldras over priced in Australia and the pathfinder for get it cold steel srk is cheaper.
👍 Good review of several very good Mora knife. But … I was disappointed you did not include the Mora Classic 2(c), my favorite Mora (as was it’s predecessor the Classic 2).
👍

And I thank you.
Bushcraft term, has turned into a marketing thing, more than anything else... to the point where bushcraft from bulshit..have only a couple of letters difference...
Mora entry level knives are great if you want to sharpen your sharpening skills after every cut you make. Another paid commercial influencer.
Don’t be a troll. You don’t like the channel don’t watch.
Literally same steel as 1095 for their carbon. 100% sure they hold an edge better than most of your knives, atleast the budget ones.
