I remember watching an episode of the Great Ships on a DVD my Father had about Tug boats, there was a Captain Fournier of a tug on that episode which showed his son, and two Grandson's on a tug with a white and green superstructure, by any chance is Brian Fournier any relation? I always wondered if the Grandson's ever followed along with becoming tug boat men? This is a cool video. I have been watching as many video's on Tugs as I can for idea's on detail's and painting my model Tug boat's.
my father was a skipper for McAllister and retired in 1974. dad worked for Texaco and Moran towing. as well as on my Grandfather's small fleet of freighters from the 1920s till the 1930s. I did not follow in my dad's footsteps which would have been 3 generations of our family working on the water. it would have been a 100 years for generations since my grandfather worked in NY harbor in 1905. Dad retired in 1974 when he had a stroke in the wheelhouse. Dad passed in 1977. RIP DAD
