Thank U. The more I watch these videos the more I am learning about myself. I now see why I am emotionally & mentally exhausted. I have been pouring from an empty pot as I have always tried to please everyone only to find people will just continue to take until you are in a state of burnout which is what has happened. I now see I have not been kind to myself! Shakespeare said to thine own self be true & I think I have to spend more time learning a bit of self respect & knowing my limits. These lessons are coming a bit late but I guess better late than never. Thank U once again. Christine
Hello Christine, Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us. It's truly inspiring to hear how these videos are helping you gain deeper insights into yourself. You're absolutely right - often, we focus so much on pleasing others that we forget to care for our own well-being. It's a common experience, but recognizing it is a huge step towards positive change. Shakespeare's words, "To thine own self be true," resonate deeply with Buddha's teachings about self-awareness and self-compassion. It's never too late to start practicing self-respect and understanding your limits. Each moment is a new opportunity for growth and self-discovery. Please remember, taking care of yourself isn't selfish; it's necessary. As you continue on this journey of self-reflection and self-care, you'll find more balance and inner peace. We're glad to be a part of your journey and are here to support you with more insights and lessons. Keep exploring, learning, and most importantly, be kind to yourself. You're doing great, and as you rightly said, better late than never.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! 😊 It's a sign of true enlightenment to recognize and reflect on our actions, especially when we feel they might not have been the best. Speaking in anger or frustration is something many of us have experienced, and feeling guilty afterward shows your awareness and empathy. Remember, one of the key teachings in Buddhism, as discussed in our video, is the practice of right speech. It's all about being mindful of our words and expressing ourselves in ways that are kind and helpful. It's completely human to slip up sometimes, but the important part is to learn from these experiences. 🙏 Your journey of self-awareness and the desire to improve is commendable. If you haven't yet, consider watching our video for more insights into how Buddhist teachings can guide us in transforming our actions and thoughts for a more peaceful life.
