rewatch the vid lambo accelerated and let off instantly and the Gtr plowed on the accelerator the instant he saw the lambo move so the gtr got the jump no false starting anywhere and the lambo was reeling him in aswell but Gtr did win and until we see this race again the Gtr stays the champ

GT-R aerodynamics is hard to beat and not to mention its differential and transmission. Drivetrain of the GT-R is so well designed for performance that Nissan felt compelled to patent it. A little sacrifice in durability at first, but drivetrains in newer GT-Rs have been vastly improved is almost bullet proof.

Patrick Carta I agree it would be nice to see people actually compete around a course but at the same time, it's easy to sit on the computer and say that when its not your money. Having to pay to enter, burning up tires, quickly wearing out brakes that have to stop a 4,000lb car, inevitable accidents/offroads that can rip off fenders etc, basic wear and tear on other areas of the car. That's a lot of money to spend on one weekend, so it's definitely understandable why some wouldn't want to go that route.
Love the Alpha but I've gotta say the UGR Huracan looks mean and was right there at the end. I also like that it has "street" wheels on it, unlike the Alpha. Both awesome cars though!
Nissan made a product so good that they don't even need to hire a marketing team. Happy tuners will happily do it for them. Tuning GT-Rs is intoxicating!
Funny how the GTR isn't even meant for roll racing yet it beats cars designed for top speed. Those supercars are just lucky that they don't fuck with the GTR on the drag strip, cause it'll be nothing but a slaughtering.
i agree the Gtr's have crazy fast launch but the Huracan lambo's can also get out of the whole fast i mean this gtr ran 7.48sec@192mph and a slower version of these UGR huracan's did 7.807sec@187mph with wheelspin and no drag tires etc. so the X2 pack Huracan's probably can match 7.0-7.50sec runs and maybe even quicker in the wayyy future

Steve Stankiewicz I think they are only limited by the turbos now, since they are still running in the OEM position...thats why ETS did the whole Top Mount turbo kit cause they were running turbos to big for the OEM fitment.

SANIC Because it was transported all the way from Chicago to Dallas. Watch the end of the video and you can clearly see it driving to the hotel after winning the event (about 20 miles). Drove it back to the airfield again the next day and loaded it on the transport back to Chicago.
