For the record God and Crew scared my mother to fear that stuff early on. Before I was born she threw it in the trash. Forgiving your parents for their abuse is one thing but obeying them is another. What if your parents don t believe in God and want to take you away from God, should you obey them? Abusers have no wisdom and we should obey God s law not our toxic parents. Yes help them when in need and don t harbour hatred but not obey them, no. They are normal kids. But he makes them feel like they're so bad. I would never try to cast a demon out of one of my kids when they don't listen well. What a sad thing to do to them. And how scarring for them to live with. Those actions and teachings scarred me. Also, no where in the NT does Jesus or the disciples bind a demon. It just isn't there! They simply cast them out. There is no such thing as generational curses. First, the curse were judgments of God in the OT. Not hexes as some try to teach. Second, the Lord did away with generational judgement in Ezekiel 18. But good biblical understanding leads to better disciples for Christ.

@jambox9919...Guess what? Jesus Christ during His ministry on earth mostly was preaching to people and casting out demons and healing people. He said His followers would do the same works He did (John 14:12). This is a significant part of God's ministry that missing in today's churches. A Testimony: When I was about 15-16 years old. I got into the occult because of rap music. I ended up being tormented by demons for two or so weeks. This includes, nightmares, sleep paralysis, visitations and even demonisation to the point of supernatural strength and insight. My family and I learnt through then that we do not wrestle with flesh and blood. Everything we struggled physically with me as my step dad was a large strong guy the demon would empower me to be stronger than this man more than twice my size. As soon as we remembered to pray the demon became weaker, also holiness was key as our pastors could not deliver me and the demon was mocking their secret sins. I ended up trying to move my tongue to call on the Lord and I was saved. Turned away from any form of the occult gate way. But please, do not think that Christians or children are immune from demons. That is so silly.

When I was 15 I got involved with a devil worshiping biker group. I thought it was cool at the beginning. I had upside down cross above a scale model of a human skull with blood painted on it. I had carved an upside down cross in my arm with a knife. I still lived with my parents. I remember at night I heard a blood curdling scream. It was my dad, he had seen a tall dark menacing figure at the bottom of his bed. I took the upside cross and skull out my bedroom. This was a horrible period of my life. I was having nightmares, I was scared, up and down with emotions. I got out by the time I was17. Since then I went through a terrible relationship over 13 years with 10 of that being married. I lost a child to cot death. Almost died by my own hands. I’m now 54 and these times still haunt me today. Until last year I was using Taro cards, runes, fortune cards, reading tea leaves. I now have Fibromyalgia and my life is not the same. I am in a wonderful relationship of 23 years that hasn’t been plain sailing. I only started studying the Bible and praying since September 2022. My oldest daughter was exposed to a ouija board at a sleep over without our knowledge. Phil episode about this girl that was kept and her parents closet and abused in the most horrific ways it was horrible I was so traumatized and felt so bad for this girl I could not believe she endured what she did... I mean her parents were sick twisted monsters... How is she supposed honor them or make right with them? I mean this girl is traumatized for life she can't even listen to country music because it triggers horrific memories I mean it is the saddest story I've ever heard I just wish that she would find God because that's the only way that's going to help that girl heal.... How can she make right with her parents? (Is what I want to know.)
If she can understand and accept that her parents were under demonic influence to have done that, she can maybe reach a point of forgiveness and feeling sorry for them and pray for their redemption and salvation as well. 🙏🏽 In that way, she would be honoring her parents.

If he was alive today, I would ask him about the modern day practice some deliverance ministers have adopted, using information they get from speaking with or "interrogating" a spirit they seek to expel. Basically relying on info it provides, a distraction that is not of the Holy Spirit. I'm pretty sure he'd say it's a no.
It's a definite no. Those spirits lie. They come from the father of lies. Besides that, aside from casting out demons we are not to converse with them... that's borderline divination. God did not call us for that. Unless God himself provides the information or gives the instruction. But God will provide, we cannot rely on those spirits to tell us anything let alone the truth

Generational curses.
Forgiving your parents for their abuse is one thing but obeying them is another. What if your parents don t believe in God and want to take you away from God, should you obey them? Abusers have no wisdom and we should obey God s law not our toxic parents. Yes help them when in need and don t harbour hatred but not obey them, no. My father for example wanted me to fight with my aunt over a difference that they had. All throughout the years he kept fighting with his brother and this aunt. Why should i do that as well? Would God want me to do that bc my dad wanted me to? As an adult i said no and kept my distance from my parents while forgiving and praying for them. But staying in toxic relationships is not good for our growthin Jesus
There’s a difference between young children and adult children. As adults we honour our parents but the bible does say in Ephesians 6:1-3 for children to obey parents.

They are normal kids. But he makes them feel like they're so bad. I would never try to cast a demon out of one of my kids when they don't listen well. What a sad thing to do to them. And how scarring for them to live with. Those actions and teachings scarred me. Also, no where in the NT does Jesus or the disciples bind a demon. It just isn't there! They simply cast them out. Please understand I grew up with Princes teachings and they ended up hurting people. I had to undo a lot of teaching to get to the truth. Here's another example. There is no such thing as generational curses. First, the curse were judgments of God in the OT. Not hexes as some try to teach. Second, the Lord did away with generational judgement in Ezekiel 18. Third, nowhere do we see Jesus or the disciples teaching about generational curses. Another man made teaching. You can believe Prince all you want. But good biblical understanding leads to better disciples for Christ.

@jambox9919...Guess what? Jesus Christ during His ministry on earth mostly was preaching to people and casting out demons and healing people. He said His followers would do the same works He did (John 14:12). This is a significant part of God's ministry that missing in today's churches. That's why there is so many struggling and defeated Christians and lost people walking around. Let God do what He purposed to do. That's why Jesus died so that we might be delivered from sin and the bondage of death, be healed and given a new life in Christ, as Jesus said, a more abundant life (John 10:10).
A Testimony:
When I was about 15-16 years old. I got into the occult because of rap music. I ended up being tormented by demons for two or so weeks. This includes, nightmares, sleep paralysis, visitations and even demonisation to the point of supernatural strength and insight. My family and I learnt through then that we do not wrestle with flesh and blood. Everything we struggled physically with me as my step dad was a large strong guy the demon would empower me to be stronger than this man more than twice my size. As soon as we remembered to pray the demon became weaker, also holiness was key as our pastors could not deliver me and the demon was mocking their secret sins. I ended up trying to move my tongue to call on the Lord and I was saved. Turned away from any form of the occult gate way.
But please, do not think that Christians or children are immune from demons. That is so silly.

When I was 15 I got involved with a devil worshiping biker group. I thought it was cool at the beginning. I had upside down cross above a scale model of a human skull with blood painted on it. I had carved an upside down cross in my arm with a knife. I still lived with my parents. I remember at night I heard a blood curdling scream. It was my dad, he had seen a tall dark menacing figure at the bottom of his bed. I took the upside cross and skull out my bedroom. This was a horrible period of my life. I was having nightmares, I was scared, up and down with emotions. I got out by the time I was17. Since then I went through a terrible relationship over 13 years with 10 of that being married. I lost a child to cot death. Almost died by my own hands. I’m now 54 and these times still haunt me today. Until last year I was using Taro cards, runes, fortune cards, reading tea leaves. I now have Fibromyalgia and my life is not the same. I am in a wonderful relationship of 23 years that hasn’t been plain sailing. I only started studying the Bible and praying since September 2022. I wish I had done this years sooner

My oldest daughter was exposed to a ouija board at a sleep over without our knowledge.
When we found out we confronted the parents/stopped letting our daughter be friends with the girl/eventually switched schools because the kids started picking on my daughter.
Now she’s 21.
Faithfully going to church.

Faithfully reading her Bible.
Faithfully helping in church.
Singing in the church choir.
She’s been going strong now for about 6 years.
The Bible says to train up a child in the ways of the Lord…and that’s exactly what my wife and I have done.

Phil episode about this girl that was kept and her parents closet and abused in the most horrific ways it was horrible I was so traumatized and felt so bad for this girl I could not believe she endured what she did... I mean her parents were sick twisted monsters... How is she supposed honor them or make right with them? I mean this girl is traumatized for life she can't even listen to country music because it triggers horrific memories I mean it is the saddest story I've ever heard I just wish that she would find God because that's the only way that's going to help that girl heal.... How can she make right with her parents? (Is what I want to know.)

I never knew forgiveness of one's parents was a prerequisite for deliverance from demons...hmm...
If he was alive today, I would ask him about the modern day practice some deliverance ministers have adopted, using information they get from speaking with or "interrogating" a spirit they seek to expel. Basically relying on info it provides, a distraction that is not of the Holy Spirit. I'm pretty sure he'd say it's a no.
It's a definite no. Those spirits lie. They come from the father of lies. Besides that, aside from casting out demons we are not to converse with them... that's borderline divination. God did not call us for that. Unless God himself provides the information or gives the instruction. But God will provide, we cannot rely on those spirits to tell us anything let alone the truth
