That's nice. About a year ago, I watched a transient assault a young woman who was jogging and stopped to take in the sunset, across the street from City Hall, near the Star of India. I couldn't get through to 9-1-1 and could not find a cop in a mile radius. Perhaps the money would be better spent of reducing crime in "America's Finest " City?

San Diego under this lack of leadership is earning its old name which ain’t “ America’s finest city”but “Enron by the sea “ for its rampant corruption.

It would be nice if the homeless policed themselves and hold themselves accountable but they don’t. Most chose that life style to live like blatant pigs in filth on the streets

@@mustang7603 When a city and state government incentivizes them to do so they are going to more and more as we are seeing. Incentivize bad behavior you get more bad behavior, not real complicated.

Why not make a shelter out of the old Central library? What's the news on the C Street Inn?

"What to do with the old bldgs?!" Preserve, renovate them! Wtf does SD scrap everything historic when other cities keep historic sites?! Even LA has preserved historic bldgs, so they can't use the earthquake danger excuse. SD suffers from ADD, I swear!
