Hey man, as always, thanks for the great lessons; they've really helped me get a good start in the long road of learning the blues. I have a bit trouble connecting this lick to other blues in A though .. which of your lessons do you think I can connect this lick the best to?
Very nice idea and very nice playing... forgive my forwardness but you might want to focus on relaxing your left shoulder. It looks a little tense and it's forcing your elbow out as you play (0:34). Relax your shoulders, and your elbow, forearm, wrist and fingers will tend to fall into place. Really, your fingers should do most of the work and your body can flow with the music! Keep the music playing!
Hey Vinny! Thanks for the comment and for approaching it so politely. I have horrible posture, something I'm working on that really plays into your comment. Hunched over the instrument is just no way to play and I think it can lead to some of what you described. Thanks again! Cheers!
