BEST, most effective, and easiest eyebrow trimming tutorial. Thank you!! I use a 5mm Norelco Multigroom for my husband and it creates a very clean and most natural look for him.
I just used my level 2 attachment and tried this and it worked, thanks for the video it was a big help. Was my first time doing it, I like the results.
This works awesome. .. I now use my Gillette proglide styler instead of my trimmer and it works great. . I just set it to #2. No more scissors and comb . This is much better. Was nervous at first. Started with a #3 and worked down to a #2 .. perfect. .tks
George! Thank you for your instructional videos!!! I started trimming my own hair this year due to frustration with the Barber; I've learned to do a basic Zero-guard to 1-guard military-type cut better than many barbers have done in the past, but I was still puzzled about how to trim those long eyebrow hairs - which are annoying in conjunction with glasses, as they hang up on my eyelashes!!! I watched several of the comb and either scissors or clippers videos, but was thankfully smart enough to reason that there's got to be a better, easier and safer way to get a uniform length on the eyebrows - just as you explain and opine in this video!! So - I used a #2 guard on my Magic Clip Cordless (and my brows aren't as full/bushy as yours - but it still worked fine) and I used my little Wahl 9867 (worked well despite not being a "T") for the schnoz and ears after watching your video on that subject (and in the end, very precisely on my thinner-than-yours eyebrows too)! Geez! I'm now 63 years old (you're right about all those errant hairs sprouting from everywhere...) and hadn't a clue how to do this - and you taught me in about 10 minutes!! Honesty, once a guy learns how to do this successfully himself, it really is very empowering and satisfying that we can indeed do it ourselves and look great!!! Thank you Sir!! Very sincerely, Bob
Never trimmed them before, but they're out of control. I can't imagine having thin brows, so I started on the longest setting for my hair clippers and kept going down one notch until I got rid of the wild brow look. Now, it's nice and even and tamed again! Thanks George Clooney.
Yeah, my back is hairy and always battled a unibrow. I just leave it to the old Indian ladies threading eyebrows. They leave a natural look with the years of experience they have.
@@bluedot45674yesterday at night I almost trimmed my eyebrows with 2mm but I thought it was too short and did it with a 3mm guard, I took a shower and went to sleep because I was very tired 😂 today I woke up, looked on a mirror and my eyebrows look different than before ( I had thick eyebrows). I didn't know that a 2 is 6mm... I have a small cheap trimmer and I only have 1mm,2mm and 3mm guards. I guess I'll have to wait a few weeks until my eyebrows grow back to normal and go to a barber shop
Listen people, the “2” length is different with quality trimmers, the best advice is starting from a “4” or “5”, and slowly work your way down each number until you began feeling the hairs clipping off. Then move one number down and you’ll be fine. If you already have short eyebrow hair, just leave them alone
Thank you!!! I used a 7 on a 1 inch trimmer and well this works for me. Thank you for the confidence to go at the brows with a trimmer mate. Live well and prosper..........
Thanks for this video! I had a barber trim my eyebrows with a electric once and they did it way to short so I've never messed with it since. I have extremely bushy brows and this made a big difference. I used a 9mm (#3) and it still made a noticeable difference.
Great tips. Thank you George. I am going to try your method. Was just about to do the comb and clipper method you mentioned at the beginning of your video. Will let you know how they turn out.
I won the DNA follicle lottery, my cyclops-browed brother not so much who eventually opted for the laser at the behest of his wife and younglings; surprise spa birthday gift.
Thank you! My eyebrows end up looking like Leonid Brezhnev's and drive me crazy. Now with the lock-down I can't even get to the barber to get them taken care of and finally decided to hit RUclips for a solution.
Nice. Since COVID, I've been giving myself a #4 all-over crew-cut on my hair, but have always been reluctant to do the same to my eyebrows, and have plucked the fast-growing "mutant" eyebrow hairs instead. This is a PITA. I'll try a #2 clipper cut now instead. Thanks! I inherited my dad's unruly eyebrows and ear hair, which I believe usually go together. Sadly though, my beard growing prowess doesn't measure up. 😀
Thanks! I used a trimmer set on 4mm, seems to have worked ok. Probably not quite as neat as a pro would have done it, but brows are not annoying me anymore, so job done.
Nice job ! Can you tell me where you buy the clippers with multiple cutting heads like the one you have ? I'm tired of buying the pencil trimmers for eyebrows , nose etc. Thanks again
First video I’ve seen from your channel! It is very informative and instruction was clear and very well presented! I’m certainly looking forward to watching more videos from this channel! Thanks for sharing! ☮️🖖🏽
Evil Deedz use the thickest first. I was afraid at first too. If nothing happens then adjust to the next. Just don’t get to excited. Now the wind cannot mess with my brows hahaha
now I need to start doing this ? I gave it a try with a beard trimmer set t 8. I was surprised at how long some of the hair's where. Thanks for another useful Tip.
So i followed your advice and my brows looked great, i thought i'd take it down a little bit more and took my eye brow clean off...........Good job i'm isolating lol
This is great! Now i don't have to buy a mini useless trimmer! I did had to google what glitter beer is tho, so i learned something new today. Thanks for making the vid!
great video!!! I have a super bushy black eyebrow as well (need to be treeming in 2 weeks or so). fook, I have similar EB like you and know that feeling!!!
The unibrow can be done with simple small (not fine) curved scissors, pointing downward, curve pointing outward. Don't cut into the thick hair, don't change the shape of the brow.
I don't believe this can work with interchangeable guards, only with the specific foil you used. I have #2 guard on Wahl clippers which is 6mm or 1/4" in the old imperial and there's no way it even gets close. Will a 1/8" 3mm shave them right off?
when he says #2 does that mean 2mm guard? im nervous to test that cause 2mm guard i have it seems like id shave my whole eyebrow off. I used a 7mm and it helped alot so im thinking i have something confused?
I like to use a beard trimmer (5mm) i do this maybe once every 3-4 weeks, i also pluck the odd stray hair in the middle between my eyes probably about once a week.
@@deepaksharma-nz3rw , no. Number 2 = 6,3mm (at least the comb he shows on the vid is nº2/6,3mm; I'm totally new to this, so I'm not sure if this is the standard).
Hi George, I like to give myself a NOT SO SHORT/CLOSE squared off flattop. I’ve shown pictures when getting a haircut but most of the time they always go to close and when I mention numbers they tell me they don’t cut by numbers. So when I Get home I start to shape it myself, and I don’t have to tell you when that happens the back is the hardest to cut. I tell them I’m more concerned about the flattop shape than anything else. I just don’t want it so close.🤷🏻♂️
I recently started using a nose and ear hair trimmer that has a small plastic apparatus that acts like a #2 clipper head, same technique you show here.
Should note that extra care should be made if using plastic adjustable clipper combs who tends to flex quite a bit when a little pressure is applied. Don't want to have just one eyebrow for a week. ;)
I have a number 2 i can use on my clippers question is do i lift the bar on on the clippers up or down. One sets the teeth closer in the other is out please advise
My God You have just changed my life sir I've been struggling with the silly comb/ Great clips method for years Now with your method it's done perfectly in half a minute I look like a young Brad Pitt and I'll be getting more ass than a toilet seat Thank you!

I trimmed them with a beard clipper, at 5mm. perfect length tbh. It looks more uniform and much better
Is it the safe length for a bushy eyebrow?
Yes
