I'm kind of a noob, so to clarify if you block a creature that has both deathtouch and trample you can only absorb the first point of damage and the rest rolls over to the face?
@@kirkprospector4958 exactly because no matter the toughness of the creature, only 1 point of damage is needed to represent lethal when the attacking creature has deathtouch. If a 13/13 blocks a 4/4 with trample and deathtouch, the 13/13 will only be able to block 1 damage and the rest (3) goes to the player. Hope it's clear enough for you now :)
