I literally screamed when I saw Paul! I am so sad he barely tells about himself on his insta and so glad you got to ask him more about his passions, thank you for that Daniel!
As soon as I saw that bag and blue beanie I instantly knew it was Paul! So gassed you pinned him down for an interview. Looking forward to seeing that segment pop up again in the future, keep up the good work Daniel 🙏
Merci Daniel d'avoir présenté Paul à nous qui ne le connaissons pas. Il a tellement de style ce type. J'ai hâte de voir les autres vidéos de cette série.
Daniel, the easiest and most effective way to make better coffee is to invest in a good quality grinder. Certain grinders would be better for traditional coffee vs espresso, so I would definitely look into that. Grind consistency is one of the most important factors to making great coffee. James Hoffman's RUclips channel is a great resource. Hope this helps!
Been watching you for a min . You’ve definitely inspired me to throw on some dope outfits & try different styles than what I’m used to , so thanks ! Also any new ink soon ? dope tattoos broski ..
Been waiting for this vlog, happy you got a coffee ☕ machine and can't wait for you to see you learn and be a pro-barista .Skål Dan... Put the steam nozzle at a 45° and tip just below the milk surface if you want to froth it and just a lil bit inside (the nozzle tip) if you wanna warm the milk and swirl it after the process to prevent it from forming that layer(don't know the name..lol)..
Pigging back on this, listen for the sound when frothing the milk, it's a ripping sound. Like a ripping of paper. Depending on how thick or creamy your oat milk is it will be different. Thick Oat milk will froth better, stay foamy, but the least creamy oat milk will be harder to foam.
@@blackbutler2238 Also piggybacking on this: Get a thermometer to put into the pitcher that you're frothing your milk in and find out what the optimal temperature is for the kind of milk you're using. Different kinds of milk require different optimal temperatures. Don't scorch your milk.
Your vids are so underrated, you have some real camera talent, its just so cozy and I can always feel at home with these vids. Needless to say, you are a big inspiration :)
I've been loving the London Diaries for some time, but what was that interview section? Came out of nowhere and it was so GOOD. Just really subtle, fitting and Paul was a great choice. Great idea for a guy in your position to connect with another creatives and asking for their perspectives. Can't wait for the next one.
The colour of the boots is so beautiful! ❤️ good choice! Seeing Paul in your video was a nice surprise. It was interesting to listen to him talking about his personal style and personality. Excited to see more people in your videos. Keep it up mate 🙏🏽❤️
really love the interview with Paul! Everything combines very well, the pace, the background music matches his personality, very chill and peaceful. Can't wait to see more!
Loved the the getting to know part!! Keep that up. And as a fragrance lover it’s nice to see what these gentlemen’s favorite scents are. Love your content btw and your style
Man you thinning or maybe u have some problems with a hairline. I feel it bro, dont worry, your hat time will be gone, u have just two options: embrace your baldness or get a hairtransplant, with your great donor area you will have a brilliant result. Keep healthy
This is exactly the time of thing I love, amazing cinematography, but in it there’s an added feeling, it’s not just something that looks cool there’s more depth
I have been following Paul for years. Thanks for including him. I feel like you've done something slightly different with your hair - maybe you just had a trim. Whatever it is, it looks good.
Love the videos man. Your style is 🔥 I have bigger thighs and a full on bakery back there, and I struggle to find good quality affordable trousers. Do you have any suggestions? I just moved to Edinburgh from Canada and I’m still learning some of the clothing providers here.
Make sure to get a good burr grinder for grinding coffee EVENLY. Wilfa makes good coffee grinders; watch some of James Hoffman coffee videos. They are great. Also don't be afraid to make coffee simply with a moka pot.
hola amigo. I picked up almost all of my coffee skills from watching James Hoffman he will teach you everything you need to know. As for latte art just practice practice practice:)
Here are my tips on how to make a better coffee at home. I gather that you're using a machine like a De'longhi, my personal tips as a barista and coffee enthusiast; 1) aim to use the freshest beans. for instance my personal favourite would be a local company to me called wooden hill, they roast daily then i can buy a bag of beans and grind them the same day. just aim to say away from longer life coffee that has been roasted over a month ago. this will mean a poor Crema will form. 2) Make sure your measure is correct. For a Ristretto shot which you would use for a flat white and other smaller drinks should take about 20-25 seconds to poor. this will mean a consistent rich Crema. this will then enable you to poor your milk into and below the Crema. so play about with the amount of ground coffee you use until it is perfect for your taste. 3) When making milk aim to use a temperature probe, this will enable you to be consistent when making the drink, then it will enable you to find the optimum temperature for you. For instance if you over heat the milk especially with oat this will burn the milk and make the drink less enjoyable. It will also detract from the rich flavour that you desire. 4) Aim to spin the milk in a way that blends the bubbles into the milk and makes the milk silky. 5) When pouring the milk, for a flat white I personally poor fast at the start reasonably low to the Crema to create a base in which I can then do some art work. the best way i have found to practice art work is with whole milk, but oat milk is pretty similar. any more questions ?
If you want some super enganging stuff on coffee check out James Hoffman! Lots of very niche speciality coffee stuff, but lots of basics as well and always accessible! London based, too. ruclips.net/p/PLxz0FjZMVOl0sUXHoxf7sR37D-qtwAGne This is his beginner playlist!
I didn’t want to like these videos but as they’ve gone in I’ve watched more you have changed my perspective… the last 2 occasions I’ve been out I’ve really given some consideration to what I’ve worn….. so thanks
Hey dude so about the coffee. Try to go to your favorite coffee shop and ask if they sell beans. They almost always do. Also here is a great video about foaming and steaming milk: ruclips.net/video/0vD--H7poxU/видео.html.
I've worked as a barista for 3 years, and unfortunately for the steaming of the milk you just have to practice. The easiest to do is a heart, but anything after that is a lot harder. But keep practicing and you will get there
Daniel, if your shirt smells musty, put it in a plastic bag and toss it into the freezer for a few days. Then, check to see if the smell is gone. If it's not, throw it back into the freezer and check it again in about a week. This does actually work to get rid of that musty smell in cloth. I bought a vintage wool tie a few years ago and it smelled as if it'd been in storage for a long time. It took a couple of weeks in the freezer, but it did work.
i have this on while im cleaning my room and at 10:21 i thought you said "i got in a fight with my daughter" so I looked over at the screen and there was a mark on your face and I was like damn this guys getting hit by his kid then I was like wait this guy has a kid? and then I rewound it and realized you said "door". that's all. lovely video!
Try this or better replace the steam wand with the rancilio one and buy a bottomless portafilter for a better tasting shot (but requires having a grinder as well as you need to find the perfect grind size for your set up) ruclips.net/video/38rVZWqVYY8/видео.html

Another awesome video mate would love to see a top 10 essentials from you even if you do an instagram reel.
Check out the Shannon T! By far my favorite piece from them. Great smart causal look.
This is exactly the time of thing I love, amazing cinematography, but in it there’s an added feeling, it’s not just something that looks cool there’s more depth
Ah man, literally had the same idea about that "day with a creative" beat me to it 😅
You should go to the Margaret Howell sample sale

Get yourself a good burr grinder instead of the electric one. Way more consistent and nice even grind for better taste.
i like your video style💯
OMG PAUL!! I’ve been following him on Instagram for so long and it’s so cool that you guys are friends!!
So funny and ironic that some of the pieces we get most gassed up about are the ones we pay the least for but feel just right. 🙏
Paul!!!!!! I love him so much!!!! so happy to see you collaborating. would love to see the two of you in more videos.
watch james hoffman for any coffee video! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Dope as usual Dan. Wondering if we are going to get a Travel Diary in France some time?
Ever since Daniel mentioned Studio Nicholson in one of his videos, I’ve been obsessed. It’s one of the only brands I buy from now
The new feature segment incorporated in your video is so good! Great video as always, Daniel!
Daniel! Get a burr grinder - it will make a huge difference!
Wow! Seeing Paul here was unexpected. Great!
Make sure to get a good burr grinder for grinding coffee EVENLY. Wilfa makes good coffee grinders; watch some of James Hoffman coffee videos. They are great. Also don't be afraid to make coffee simply with a moka pot.

How can you know that this Lacoste polo isn’t fake? I want to buy used Ralph Lauren polo, but I’m afraid it’ll be fake
It would be interesting if you make a video about your skincare routiune. Your channel is extremely interesting.

Paul Binam is the best dressed man on the whole internet imo
I've worked as a barista for 3 years, and unfortunately for the steaming of the milk you just have to practice. The easiest to do is a heart, but anything after that is a lot harder. But keep practicing and you will get there

Paul The 🐐
I'm loving the new segment 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hey Daniel! You may have answered this already previously, but what camera do you use to record?
Hey I don't drink coffee but I'd eat my hat if there's any aspect of it that James Hoffman doesn't do a great job explaining
Tip for making the milk, Don't, just have it black ;)
I have the same machine and I’m currently looking for a coffee grinder, which one are you using please?
Hello from Ukraine, i am trying study english with your videos
It was the oat milk you used bro! You gotta buy the Barista Oatly (Grey bottle), you had the normal oatly (blue bottle).
i have this on while im cleaning my room and at 10:21 i thought you said "i got in a fight with my daughter" so I looked over at the screen and there was a mark on your face and I was like damn this guys getting hit by his kid then I was like wait this guy has a kid? and then I rewound it and realized you said "door". that's all. lovely video!
Excited for you Daniel! Congratulations!!
Try this or better replace the steam wand with the rancilio one and buy a bottomless portafilter for a better tasting shot (but requires having a grinder as well as you need to find the perfect grind size for your set up)
ruclips.net/video/38rVZWqVYY8/видео.html
Hey Daniel, I was wondering what camera you use to shoot your amazing videos
aesthetics
That is a masterclass ! Incredible video.
i would recommend a comandante coffee grinder, really will improve the taste of your espresso
The blade grinder into the espresso machine made me scream. You should try to collaborate with a coffee tuber
I find soya milk froths SO much better than oat milk.
Hey Dan!
For anything coffee related, just look up James Hoffman. I'm pretty sure he's coffee Jesus on RUclips and his video production quality is top notch! Very easy to go down the coffee rabbit hole on his channel :)
Cheers from Toronto!
Was about to write the same thing, literally coffee Jesus. Here's a video on steaming the milk ruclips.net/video/oaKRBBpA4fw/видео.html
I love Paul a lot but he doesn’t share much but when i saw him on my fav man’s youtube i’m freaked out in a good way lol
I would recommend James Hoffman for coffee-related advice. :)
Get oatly barista instead of the regular, makes for much better foamy milk
Where did you purchase those navy, cream, and olive trousers?
I just love your content, I mean it’s so genuine🖤
Bro, it's just coffee for god's sake. It's not difficult.
Watch James Hoffmann channel a lot of good advise for making coffee!
London diaries is not good for my bank balance, i need to stop buying clothes.
U should watch videos by lance hedrick on how to froth the milk
Never knew that you had a youtube channel 😍 Now i am addicted♥️
Loved the video, was hoping you would ask Paul about his tattoos though!
