I drove for Uber & Lyft in the L.A. area for years. I had some pretty crazy situations, but fortunately, none ever came down to my life being threatened. Sometimes, I had ro make it clear to certain... types that they "may or may not be on audio and video recordings". @@thatguy5233 I guess it depends on the options and location you have. North Europe for me - was fun in summer months but would've sucked if it lasted into winter. I was transitionig between office positions back then. The job before being bolt driver was definitely bad - low pay, shitty company, uninspiring tasks. However the time driving allowed me to seek for a much better company and position, with better pay and opportunities to keep improving. Still working there 5 years later and not feeling a little bit worn out. Job as a driver was definitely a cool experience, but wouldn't have loved to do it much longer - car maintenance costs, long work hours, back pain from sitting in car seat too long... Also I appreciate fellow drivers more now and tip more generously, after I've walked this path briefly :)
when Uber first came out demand was high but supply was short so as a driver you could earn more than in other higher profile jobs and degrees, but this advantage attracted loads of new drivers wanting to make easy money, so supply increased to match demand, and then Uber drivers began earning more or less the equivalent of a taxi or private driver. If you like driving and your job alternatives pay the same it's still pretty good since you don't have to deal with a boss...
I do recall when Uber appeared here in Brazil in 2016. It was quite nice. Things got BAD when payment in cash was introduced. I quit right after that due to safety concerns. Couple months later, we began to saw the first deaths caused by criminals calling these Uber drivers to take the cash and sometimes even stole the cars. Having the car stolen wasn't bad since insurance often covered that, but an impatient or paranoid criminal with a gun often resulted in death even after you gave the cash and car keys. "You saw my face" was enough to be killed. Many still work with Uber here in Brazil, but I frankly do not think it is worthy the risk. If credit card payment was the only thing available, perhaps I would kept working with it a bit longer.
Agree - payment in cash ruined everything. Decent ppls use cards. The others - pimps, prostitutes, low-class ppls, smugglers, thieves, you name it ! they prefer cash to "stay under the radar" from the law.
This is shocking 😦, I didn’t know Uber laws were being adjusted from country to country. No matter where you live though cash payment shouldn’t have been allowed in the first place, regulators should have KNOWN there’s too much potential for illegal bs to happen. Or was this a set-up from Taxi company’s to mar the service and scare people from working Uber? I’ve heard stories in Mexico where drivers have been literally ran off the rode by Taxi’s, crazy sh+t.
Spot on as usual. I used to drive people for the pandemic, now only do Uber Eats. That chime is low key triggering for me. Uber doesn't let you mute that shit lol.
@The Winners Circle I understand your sentiment, but my understanding is fast food workers get paid about the same. I've never worked fast food, but I've worked in restaurants and I'd have to guess there's no way McDonald's is easier than food delivery for the same wage. I agree with finding another option though. Neither fast food nor gig work is the way.
This is the thing I'm scared about, my uncle showed me the perks of being a Grab Driver (basically like Uber) and being able to earn money fast and easy but I'm not an ambitious person, my fighting spirit died along with my experiences in the workforce, now I'm just unemployed and stuck
Dont give up. Most restaurants have dedicated food delivery drops inside the restaurants and more times than not employees at said restaurant are very gracious as you are basically helping their customer like an employee. Im an introvert and LOVE it. Just walk in and say picking up for so and so. Thats it. Also, why would the person youre delivering to be mad about anything. You just brought them food. They like that. Drive it there fast for mo moneyyyy

Driving around and listening to music / podcasts all day while just dropping stuff off, not much human contact. Those were the days. But after about a year, you’re just so drained and tired of doing it.
I’ve been driving Uber/Lyft on and off for 4 years. I love driving so it doesn’t feel like work. I’m working Corporate now as a Business Analyst for almost 6 months and I fucking hate it… Working on become a Truck Driver now before I quit !!!
i used to uber and this sums up how it went. I was an early adapter so the people were nicer and Uber was 0% commission for the first year. Then it became popular and it went to shit really fast.
As a Uber/Lyft Driver! Never drive more than 4-6 hours a day unless you are built for it, otherwise it will drain you & you will end up hating your job!

This video is close to heart and I can relate to it because I drove Uber for 5 years. There were bad customers, but majority were good. And you forgot about drunk customers who vomit or fell asleep and couldn’t wake up 😂
The suffering never ends.
It only ends when you chose
The only escape is death unfortunately.
@@Frank-pc2rsI’m not suicidal, but at the same time it’s no wonder those rates are on the rise.

I want the best for Wojak. Dude deserves happiness.
Glad to see you back doing the best cartoon content on RUclips.
Thanks Anthony!
Great job and your are awesome!!
Editing is spot on
Worked as bolt driver for 2 months.
This was very accurate depiction of the experience :) 5 stars to the vid
only 2 months? are there really better jobs out there? even considering the worst customers possible, i feel like it's the same with other jobs minus having some fun and driving. maybe that's why i kinda enjoyed working in a warehouse but then you have coworkers who are insane... i've worked in 3 warehouses and i wouldn't call myself super smart but there were a lot of people who were just cavemans. i haven't experienced that in other jobs.
Drivers can refuse customers who use cash, I was told by one of them.

Crazy how he fell asleep while the dude was talking to him but still drove to the destination safely 😂
After exceeding 5000 lifetime trips, your brain has morphed such that you acquire proficiency in hypno-driving!
2:54 Oh yeah, that guy seems familiar to me too.
İt is Stewie
I just appreciated seeing Wojak's car had the correct amount of pedals.
Spot on as usual. I used to drive people for the pandemic, now only do Uber Eats.
That chime is low key triggering for me. Uber doesn't let you mute that shit lol.
Find another way. You’re only making them billions but you only making minimum wage. It’s better working at McDonalds honestly 😢
My trigger is "This ride has a stop" but they don't say that when you take the ride.
Drive it there fast for mo moneyyyy
lol are you not tired of such a pathetic existence?
Love your style and story telling
Thanks Danny!
Love your videos man. Never go big budget! 😆
Calling petrol stations "CO2 Chargers" is accurate and clever lol.
same goes for electric cars, more C02 is produced to charge those fvckers than just getting a regular petrol or even Diesel car.
Why
There gas stations you dummy
Why 🤔
I just found out your channel and I binged watched all your videos in a day 😂
As an Uber driver I can relate. The only thing that is not real 3:58 how they raised commission from 25%to80% if it's already 47% lol
Yh that wouldn't be dramatic for the video
WTF its already 50% commission??
@@TheStaniG 40% in the UK
a driver told me it was 60% here in San DIego
@@XpunisherX8152 Holy fuck, why even bother.
For someone to take 40% or 60% of your money, you would normally have to be on like 300k a year so the government can rob you blind.... Instead, theyre uber drivers 😳
"Got fired for a crypto addiction" was way too funny and also a little too close to home! I love Wojak
I work construction and have legit come across holders who talk about being up over 100k but they’re dumbasses and thought an extra zero would show up. Instead they lost 2 0’s
I once took multiple rides to a Crypto convention in town and not one of these money grubbing fucks left a tip for their boy
This wasn't as low budget as the rest
The ideas and how you presented them. Good job.
Been driving for 6 years. Best advice is to drive and completely ignore the passengers really makes your day go by smoother
Don't ever think you need to have a conversation, be comfortable with silence.
Been doing it 7 years an this is the way lol your days are so smooth if you do this
The guy calling shots gets me every time with the background music lmao😂😂😂😂😂
OOoh i love this. Happy to see Boganoff again! The other Wojak channels not even close to LBS
Glad you liked it :)
@@LowBudgetStories Thanks a lot!
I heard the Uber tones and instantly looked at my phone and was like “I swear I went offline.”
"Had a great conversation. Felt like a brother to me." Hahahahaha XD Nailed it!
The car exploding had me in STITCHES. The Final Fantady jingle was killer. Your videos always feel very organic. 5 stars.

Bogdanoff ordered a mob hit on the Wojak and literally detonated his car. That takes some serious dedication.
If you pay attention Wojak has a Bitcoin poster that says Hodl. Good info
As an Uber driver, I highly approve. Great video!
"Mediocre Management Incorporated" what i call those companies; NO profit sharing; NO bonus, NO promotion; NO opportunity; unless you count walking away.
The ending is what Uber actually wants.
The same thing for Uber eats delivery drivers want to be replaced by robots
What they want? Open your eyes man, they've done it.
I always knew Lord Bognadoff was behind the self driving cars for Uber.
As a full time uber driver for 8 years, this is insanely accurate
Tbf that first rider was understandable. I don't enjoy having conversations with uber, always feels forced, I rather just chill.
Yup. Went from working at a bank to doing DoorDash and UberEats simultaneous to boost earnings and with that I was able to travel cross country 2 times and buy a new mustang within a 6 month period. Driving around and listening to music / podcasts all day while just dropping stuff off, not much human contact. Those were the days. But after about a year, you’re just so drained and tired of doing it.
A new Mustang and money to travel around the workd twice please tell me you're trolling😂
@@deconstructingnarcissism3062he capping lmao
@@deconstructingnarcissism3062 No really. I was making anywhere from $170 to $100 per day, usually 7 days per week.
I’ve been driving Uber/Lyft on and off for 4 years. I love driving so it doesn’t feel like work. I’m working Corporate now as a Business Analyst for almost 6 months and I fucking hate it… Working on become a Truck Driver now before I quit !!!
This video is so accurate lol I have ubered for 8 years and can relate to every story
I just want to say; As an autistic who can really enjoy the simplicity of LBS, you’ve created a safe space for me and I want you to know that.
i used to uber and this sums up how it went.
I think the only reason why this channel don't have a million subscribers is because it can get real and that scares some NPC's
This is my life for another year anyway, you absolutely nailed it.
Thing is: Every job exists because there is a *problem* to solve, and that usually means its going to come with problems. Thats why its so hard to make money doing something everybody enjoys.
New subscriber here, i am curious who are the guys on plane always ruining Wojak's life
1:24 "wonderful thanks Matthew"
Gozer, ja ik heb tegen jou! ik weet dat je dit leest. Je bent een HELD voor het maken van deze filmpjes!
Watch these more than actual TV. Low BuDget Stories is my new favorite cartoon show. Hands down.
As an Uber Driver, Tracey is fucking awesome customer
I sometimes take Ubers to go to college or go back home. My trips are quiet, both me and the driver stay silent during the trip, and drivers only talk to ask for confirmations of the trip. I jsut listen to their music or whatever they're listening to in the radio. I always rate them with 5 stars and no comments.
World always try to fuck over my boy Wojak, it ain't fair!
I love how his Ford Fiesta has two doors but all clients just slide on the backseat like it has 4 doors :)
ngl the first 3 minutes are very wholesome
Loves your vids since last year, it would be so humble and great, if you can make a video on your process of making these videos
Lol I like how the outside of his car is 2 door, but the inside is 4 doors 😂
Pah, those self driving cars at the end are Jaguars. They'll break. Wojak and his Fiesta (if he gets another) will win in the end!
guys can someone explain me who the guy at 3:11 is, and why he appears in these wojak videos?
Lets just call him.
"The matrix" for now
The Bogdanoff brothers were French TV celebrities. They became a meme due to the surgeries that they underwent, and which they denied saying that their appearance was natural, from which theories arose that they sought to ascend to godhood or that they were already gods incarnate, like the definitive Chads, and following the criteria of the Virgin Vs Chad meme, they make life impossible for Wojak.
