Just started listening to the Live Beyond the Sphere album. Bought it and got it home last week but have been sick and coundn't even find strength to put a disc in my PC and listen :)
Now the time has come, 3 hours of absolute Live Blind Guardian. 3 discs with almost an hour on each, 22 songs, NOW THAT'S an album.
Epic performance as Always, long live Blind Guardian!

Kinda sounds more powerfull live, or is that just me? Deserves its spot on the setlist. Would've liked The Holy Grail to make it into the setlist, too. Could be nice with its powerfull fast sing-along chorus. Maybe in a few years.

The editing on all of the videos from this concert makes it very difficult to watch even though the sound is actually quite good, I really hope they either never hire this person to do it again or that person takes a loooooong course on editing

normalerweise spricht man bei einem musikvideo von der studio version eines liedes mit einem dazu passenden video unterlegt.

Because of that video edit guy the very first time in my 31 years of life i have disliked a BG content. He really sucked too bad.
I prefer the studio one musically and vocally, this one mixing wise and no, it's no way "10 times better" IMO.
Also, prolly my least favorite song from BtRM.

No...lol the album sounds better! He's singing in a lower register because can no longer hit the high notes. He's almost there, but I'm not hearing that high register in the chorus and in some places that he should be screeching...That's ok it still sounds great, but not "better" than the album...lol
