@@lifesagem yes wayyy! Lol. Really? I don’t remember seeing fountains. Yeah, it was a close one! I was so happy to be outta there! Have you guys tried whittier, CA?
Nice to see I wasn't the only one sufferning today..did a 70 mile road ride on my HEAVY gravel bike. From Christ Cathedral to the Queen Mary and back, with a extra loop through part of Tustin and Santa Ana thrown in for good measure.
My road bike DOES have issues..it’s 13 years old and momentarily tireless. The gravel bike is newish, it’s what I could afford. I broke two aluminum frame bikes..one road, one mountain..I’m a bit heavy, you see. I chose the steel frame knowing it would be harder to move than a lighter road bike, but after having been stranded twice..not again 😊
You parked on the Chino Hills side and did that torturous 3 mile climb! How was it on a gravel bike? I usually take my Specialized MTB to CHSP, but I also have a Trek gravel bike that's nicer to ride. Is is doable with a GB?
I parked at the Chino Hills Community park. Its a few miles from the Chino Hills State Park. Although the park is predominated by mountain bikes, I actually saw 3 gravel riders that day. It is totally doable on a GB, lots of grinding but tons of fun!
Btw, your husband remind me so much this other vlogger chris miller from Australia. Look at the link, you will have a laugh of so much the look a like. ruclips.net/video/jire7HdpyMw/видео.html
So I went here after watching your vid and almost DIED! ran out of water halfway and got a flat, too! Lot’s of hike-a-bike
Omg, no waaaay! There's water around the park! Careful out there, its starting to get super hot!

You're awesome, that sounds intense! keep exploring, I love to hear that!
@jo gr sounds like it, I wonder if his road bike had issues and that's why he took the GB?
