The guitars and bass are so heavy, Kenny’s vocals are amazing, and Johnny on the drums is killing it as always. I fell in love with ToN from hearing them on Metal Mondays on WCLH’s (Wilkes University’s College Radio Station) Death and Mad Dog show, broadcasted from Wilkes-Barre, PA in the late 90s and never stopped listening, even made an Angelfire website dedicated to Type O with Type O midis, pictures, and lyrics to their albums. After Peter’s unfortunate passing, shockingly less than a half hour from my birthplace, it was tragic news to hear. I am so glad that his spirit lives on through Sun Don’t Shine. ❤
I'd not heard about the name change- recently got a 'Dreams Always Die..' flexidisc as it seemed the only thing to have made it to the UK, I hope a full Sun Dont Shine album gets some distribution over here as I'll buy anything they put out!

This is great. The bridge part almost sounds opeth esque? Which is awesome! I have the exact guitar Kenny plays in this video. The good ol Schecter signature C-1! I’m a Big type o fan, so of course when these guys came about I was super into it. I was also not familiar with crowbar before hearing these guys but I’ve checked them out and they’re a new favorite. Kenny has always been one of my favorite vocalists, the type o songs where he does backing or lead vocals are very few but some of the best. Perfection.

And let it be known I will always support you guys! 🤟 Now, as for the song, Oh man.... as mucisian myself there was so much to appreciate and love! Firstly the guitar tones were absolutely gorgeous! That slight hint of fuzz and Smashing Pumpkins esque vibe from the big muff combined with the blistering roar and gain from the Dual Rectifier for Kenny was just magical! And those slide riffs were 🔥Kirk as always knows how to perfectly riff and balance technicality and simplistic melody with his leads! And Todd's Bass is always just titanic sounding while also not overpowering! Drums were perfect with great dynamics and groove which is no suprise from Johnny! Lyrics of course as always are unique, and fantastical! This was easily an 11 out of 10 for me! This is the kind of new music I want to hear! It's its it's own thing while also sounding familiar at the same time! 👏 Bravo to you all! Such a big inspiration for me as a mucisian! I'll definitely be inspired greatly by this when I go to record some new music next month!
