Hi Abbie, thanks a lot for this short and so beautiful overview of this hike. I see what I want to know to do this hike. I like the slogan "spent more time in the wild". Cheers
Hi Abbie, i came across your channel as i looked for walks in the Lake District and i must say that i love it ! Your enthusiasm, your smile and positive attitude are so infectious! Keep it up!
Beautiful scenery, thanks for making me aware of the route. I like that the trail returns to the same village. Makes it so much easier with transportation.
What a wonderful journey, with so many different environments and scenic spots. I will add it to my list of adventures. Thanks again Abbie for your amazing work.
Beautiful. I did part of the Beara Way with a guided group, but couldn't do the island d/t Gale ?7 rating which shut the cable car down....a pub day instead. I remember something about ?4 people being allowed or one cow for the cable car trip. I can't wait for the whole hike on film.
Hi everybody, just a little warning to anyone who's planning to hike in the Beara! Please take extra precautions against ticks, we are having big problem with them for the last couple of years,. Please cover up with long sleeves and pants, use insect repellent (deets) and check yourself for bites when your walk is finished.. Thank you and enjoy.
@@f.dmcintyre4666 I know, but it's a huge problem now, west cork and south kerry are having massive problem with infected ticks, cases of lymes disease have gone through the roof.
Great views! Another inspiring video!! Inspired by you to start my own RUclips channel! Also my ancestors cane from Ireland in 1864. Planning a tour there next year to film some walks and family history.
I love all the old Forts and ruins! I can't wait until the full film!!!
These 3 min clips are killer! Perfect appetizers and the long ones available to dig in to those one picks.

I hope there will be an extended version? I did the Beara way last year and it's one of my favourite through hikes, tough though.
Loved this, have you done the Wicklow Way?
Really nice video, did it rain much?? Thanks.....
Home sweet home
What is the name of the song? And where can I buy it? It sounds so uplifting 😊 Also, cannot wait to go for a long distance hike again!
It's called Irish Departure :)

As of now this is on my to-do list. Is wild camping possible in Ireland?
It is possible anywhere if you are discreet :)
