@Talorc MacAllan I think to describe Aberdeen as being full of posh people simply shows the poster does not know anywhere near enough about Aberdeen to give any guidance on anyone's expectations. The West End of Aberdeen has posh people, true, but there is poverty (and foodbanks) here too. Like every city across the globe, an economic downturn then a pandemic has had their effects. I trust you will be guided around Aberdeen by those who know about the best bits of it and not cherry pick the worst. There IS crime - where there are people, there is crime. Like anywhere -but Aberdeen is a safe city as long as you act responsibly. I trust you will be happy here, I am.

4' 18". That monstrosity coming up on your left is the University Zoology Building. Go up the stairs. Enter the front door. Go down the staircase and exit through the back. Behold the Cruickshank Botanical Gardens, a gem of a place, and maybe the subject of a future video, Mr Laks!

Another suggestion for you: X7 bus into Aberdeen from the south, but be sure to get the top floor, front seat for an uninterrupted view forward, but you'll want the bus where you sit above the driver, so you might have to wait a while, in Stonehaven perhaps for the right one. It's worth it for the view over Aberdeen as you approach the Brig O'Dee.
