great tip!!! 24 years with Logic. and I didn't know how to set (and unset) global parameters like this! (I think the title of this video could be clearer, maybe "Logic Pro automatically looping my imported audio")

This issue drove me crazy for over a year until I stumbled upon this solution a couple of months ago. I wish I had seen this video from the beginning, as it would have significantly reduced my stress levels. Haha, regardless, thank you for the videos! Please keep creating them.

I always learn a lot from your videos. Appreciate the new approach as a complement to the other great stuff you produce. Many many thanks for this!

So happy you made this vid Chris. I had the exact same problem with tracks automatically looping, and had no idea what I did to cause it, or how to fix it. Once again, you are The Logic Master!

The first time this happened to me I was like, “WTF is happening?!” 😂 Wish I had this video back in the day! For people that have never had to fix this, save this one. Thanks, Chris!

I probably use 10% of what Logic is capable of. So glad for your channel and those of a few others!

Hi Chris, I'm about 2:15 in the video and launched a test project to follow along. In my project none of the items you unchecked were on in my project. How come were yours turned on? Is it because you used those items in a previous project and they stayed on by default? Thanks!

As a somewhat intermediate hobbyist when it comes to using Logic, I prefer a combo of both long and short videos.
When I know exactly what I want to do, I wanna short video straight to the point.
When I need to start learning a new concept, I want a longer and more detailed video.

Thanks for all the great content! Would love to see a quick tip about Flex. When I add a studio recorded audio file that needs some pitch fixing, as soon as I turn on Flex, it stretches the audio file before I get the chance to select "Pitch" instead of "Time". I end up having to fix it in Melodyne so it doesn't stretch it.

This is a great idea for youtube videos. Im pumped for as many as you can make. (Random. I want logic to make an update where i can change the view (not gain) size of an individual wave form by region and not just global.)

Good thinking batman. So easy to get annoyed and then it's something simple like this!

People really do believe Logic just "does stuff all by itself". It's never that way, no amount of insisting will make it so. There's always a feature or setting they just are unaware of.

Sshhhhhh! I don’t want my band to know that. I blame logic pro every time I screw something up. 😂

Hey Chris! I do have a question I've been wondering about for a while. Maybe you can shed some light on it or possibly make a video? I'm a professional mixing and mastering engineer so I'm getting sent files to mix daily. Sometimes when I drag a pair of mono tracks (for example overhead left and overhead right) into Logic it automatically creates a stereo track instead of leaving them as 2 mono tracks. Sometimes it will do this with guitars, keys, vocals, all kinds of tracks. It's almost like Logic detects they "belong" together and makes a new track automatically. I can't find a setting anywhere that looks like it would affect this. It will even create a new audio file in the folder from where I am dragging the files when it does this. Even more strange is that it doesn't happen all the time. Only sometimes. Any idea why this happens and how to get it to stop? Sometimes it's super helpful but others it's not and I'll have to split the new stereo track back out to 2 mono tracks. So I'd love to learn why this happens and how to prevent it. Hopefully, you can shed some light for me!

My regions have a bug that 'mutes' random channels by themselves. Does anyone know how to solve it?

    • @artprojectsnz
      @artprojectsnz 4 дня назад +1

Maybe look at the automation….there is sometimes an issue where mutes, solos etc are added on record…bloody annoying but solvable with some hunting about…

I have this weird problem that sometimes all of the groups and busses suddenly change without me doing anything. The routing of all of the tracks suddenly changes and It's rather complicated to set it back to what they were. Did someone else encounter this bug? Do you know how to fix it?

Why is it set like this? This was pissing me the hell off the other day. Logic has been slacking in recent years. This new update has slowed my computer down, and now Logic randomly crashes, my projects are getting corrupted, and I’m dealing with this crap. How do I get a refund?

You have to check out reaper,” reaper mania “instructional videos and crowd support is amazing, they fix bugs in what seems to be monthly updates , not 50 year updates for non musicians , like logic

Refund for what? for your 2017 Macbook? Logic is running rock solid on newer machines. And if unchecking a little icon and to save a Template is too much for you, you should think about changing your hobby Buddy. No crashes here at all ✌️Cheers
