My past choir teacher is in this and I didn’t realize it until I saw her face. Mrs. Adams Idk if you can see this or not but if you do I hope you know that you have done so much for me and everyone you’ve taught over the years. We love you and will cheer you on and support you through everything. Just know that you helped a lot of kids find their light in the dark or an escape from the chaos that middle school brings. Your Knob Noster family is still here and we miss you! Sincerely, former student, Ryleigh Shay
UNT A Cappella Choir continues to be legendary.
Exquisite!! All other words fall short.
Angels, where you soar
Up to God’s own light
Take my own lost bird
On your hearts tonight;
And as grief once more
Mounts to heaven and sings
Let my love be heard
Whispering in your wings
Thanks for the beautiful words.
Those TENORS absolutely are the pinnacle of what make that build and sustain EVERYTHING that is gorgeous! 2:26
I love singing bass, but I have to say this is the one song when I wish I was a tenor...
Jonathan Downing I’m with you on that as a fellow bass 😂 I wouldn’t mind jumping up for that one note!
I sang this last year, as a tenor. And was in tears.
I sang this piece just this past fall. This song is an absolute tearjerker and was one of my favorites. I'm also a tenor :^)
Yes to all.
That cut off on "heard" was SO clean
@3:09 THOSE TENORS ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
I performed this song in my senior year of High school. It was actually my last concert ever
Don’t stop singing! Find a choir near you. You won’t regret it.
My Teacher won’t let us sing level 6 songs 😢
Was your love heard?
We did this my freshman year of college in Florida . That first unison and division always gets me . By the time they reach the first “let my love be heard” , I can’t hold back the tears fam. Truly a beautiful piece. Those tenors are on point like a knife !!! As well as all the other sections! (Tenor 1 here)
A reverence for A Cappella singing..........I agree with others that this performance rises to the top!
The tenors sent shivers down my spine, my lord above I hope to be in a choir this talented some day!
Just a STUNNING performance of one of my FAVORITE choral works! Goose bumps!
After hearing your performance of this, I've just become obsessed with this piece. I've since listened to at least 10 other performances/recordings and this is by FAR the best performance of it I have ever heard. This is REALLY something special.
ESPECIALLY the altos and tenors ;)
@@mikehollabaugh could be a tad slower or a rubato here and there: check the original song as a tribute to their member who died from terrorist attack abroad...
Couldn’t agree more. The way they sustain the music, it’s beyond amazing
Same!
Can this piece be written in solfa?
We sang this on the last few days before the world shut down. My chorale tour to Europe soph year of college. Singing this as everything got so scary gave people at least a little joy (including myself!)
these people need Grammys nowwww!!!
Unbelievable. You guys killed it
I just sang this for the NMEA All State High School Choral Ensemble, and I am absolutely blown away at the performance of this choir. My guest director is one of the most influential people in my life, and introduced this piece and many others to represent life- the journey of a teenagers life.
What an amazing thing music can do.
This a stunning performance of an extraordinary choral work. Words are insufficient to convey how I feel about it.
Knowing the story behind this piece makes it so much more impactful. Beautifully done!
Flawless
Never have i been so moved by this piece 😫😫😫😫😫
This touches my soul♥️
Absolutely stunning in every sense
You have reached such a zenith in choral music making - it transports the soul. Thank you! (I have to add ... What an achievement in choral excellence!) SO moving! 😢
Simply. Gorgeous. VERY good job!
Bravo to choir, conductor and composer. Beautiful.
This song is of divine inspiration when it was written. My family and I just had to say farewell to my golden retriever Savannah (June 2008-July 5, 2019). This song has helped ease the pain. The title says it all, she ALWAYS had a smile on her face, and she was surrounded by her brother and puppies (all fully grown now) so to whoever wrote this thank you, and the choir that sang it, you've brought me peace and closure, so thank you so much🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝
Composer is Jake Runestad (from a poem by Alfred Noyes). Check out Jake's channel, he has other good compositions.
Breathtaking
Astonishingly beautiful. And those tenors ♥️
What an amazing song.
Beautiful! Well blended and in tune!! BETTER THAN MY CHOIR :)
Stunning performance of a gorgeous composition.
This is a very beautiful song ❤
That tenors though in 3:18 💯
I know right. Incredible
MAGISTRALE👋
I am singing this in my choir (colorado springs childrens chorale summit ensemble on youtube) and we all love and strive to sing like this choir lol
The strong bass line sets the tone for the rest of the singers. Well done everyone!! Reminds me somewhat of the L.A. Choral Lab, which is another amazing group.
Beautiful
Excellent rendition
Absolutely beautiful & flawless is inaccurate to describe how transcending this rendition is ♥️♥️ the story the words the composition....this one evokes all the emotions possible for music to target #zenith
Magnificent!
Stunning job!
A stunning performance and work! Congratulations!
Wow
Lovely!
They go too fast at parts but they sound so good as a choir that it almost compensates
Yeah, written tempo is quarter note= 54
God Strength USE
Go tenors Go!!
That high B @3:10 from the Tenors was amazing
Unicorn Tacos it’s an A, but it’s still amazing!
Heavenly Crimson It’s not an A, it’s a B. I don’t think you’re hearing the right pitch.
Unicorn Tacos No, it’s an A. You might have performed this in a different key, but as someone with perfect pitch, I can confidently say that the note is an A.
Jack Kernan we’re definitely not talking about the same note. The note you’re talking about is the note that the tenor 2’s are singing. However, the Tenor 1’s are singing a B. And good job on having perfect pitch?
@@tastelesssoperatatouille4396 No, the tenor 2's/Baritones sing an E4. I know that certain brass instruments are transposed a whole step, so maybe this is where your blunder is. According to the A 440 Hz musical scale that is commonly accepted by musicians around the world, the note that the tenor 1's sing on the high note is an A4 (440Hz). You can easily check this with a piano while playing the song. If this is not enough evidence, a perusal score, (for this piece) is posted by Jake Runestad (the composer) on issuu.com/jakerunestad/docs/let_my_love_be_heard_by_jake_runest. In measures 44 and 45 you can clearly see that the note on the tenor line is on the line above the top line of the staff. This note is an A4 in the Tenor Voice Clef. This is written in the original key, which also happens to be the key that this particular performance is in. If this isn't enough evidence to convince you otherwise, I will leave you to your delusions.
3:14 that’s all I have to say
3:18 Tenor1, 😱
Quiero ll

what language is this in
Cade Vlogs english
Love brother. It's in the language of love
Quiero qu me salga la canción con la letra cantada
Quiero ver la letra cantada
Too fast compared to the original. Recall this is a commemorate tribute to an almost who was killed in a terrorist attack. Milk the emotions
Spectacular.
