I had a muffler delete... for free... happened in a walmart parking lot. They were so nice they even did true free-flowing exhaust and took my catalytic converters.... thank you kind stranger!
I heard sometimes they remove excess weight from you car by taking the battery out for you or removing your old radio too
@@Theonlyoneleft1000 Some time ago they used to take out the stereo from the car so you can be more focused and have a lighter car.
They sometimes will even take your rims and tires so you don't have to burn your gas and you can just walk home and get exercise
Or they scratch and dent your car for you to get better air flow and a better fuel economy

lmao my muffler literally broke off this same way 😂 was on my way to work this morning , made a turn and heard some metals hit other metal and all of a sudden my car sounded straight piped 🤣🎉
this is one of those situations where it would probably be both quicker and cheaper to get a bolt-on exhaust off of ebay.
Remember kids, exhaust welds dont need to be air-tight after the last muffler.

I live in Germany and drive a Mazda MX-5 for about two years. I bought the car with new TÜV (Straßenzulassung). Two weeks ago I replaces mid and end muffler because they were rusty. Surprise, surprise: The mid muffler was already cut away. I don't know how that came trough TÜV without problems.

Weiß ich leider nicht. Aber müssten schon ein paar Jahre gewesen sein. Nächstes Jahr werden dann noch die Längsträger und Schweller vom Rost befreit und versiegelt und dann hoffe ich, dass der noch viele Jahre hält. Den hätte ich sehr gerne als Oldtimer, abef das dauert noch 10 Jahre. :D

Yes it can set off the light, and it will fail on the visual test.
Going with a new pipe that has the same OD and the factory ID is lazy. They also didn't attempt to bend the pipe to match. The correct way would be to cut just shy of the mufflers on the straights, tack the correct size tube in place after metal prep, and weld on a bench.
Quicker way is to speed when you see a pot hole

@Bon it’s different but they were modifying diesel trucks against EPA regulations by making them “roll coal” basically. Selling vehicles that do not not adhere to EPA regulations is a Federal crime. So that’s what happened.

@@MrZachgonz If you know anything about diesel engines the EPA equipment causes it to burn twice as much fuel but it's half as bad for the environment. My 05 pre emissions non modified truck gets 27mpg my 18 same size truck and engine just newer with emissions gets 13. The emissions is a bunch of BS just shows how the government is owned by big oil. Twice as much fuel burned half as harmful is the same amount of harm just twice as much fossil fuels consumed and carbon released.

Lol I actually am. But im tryna figure out whether or not i should do a muffler delete or swap the whole exhaust. Obviously the whole exhaust would be expensive but im iffy about only changing the muffler as I think it would impact the way my car drives. Its a 2023 Civic Touring
