So, at 9:20 Tywan serves down 5-9, so Tavo hits a ball out and Larry calls out 6-9, then Tywan says, "I just scored a point", then Larry calls out 7-9, nobody caught this?

I won’t deny there are some very questionable calls against Tavo in this game, but, all that being said, it doesn’t change the fact that he went up to serve 4 or 5 times at 21 with the lead and didn’t close out. He knew the assignment, he just didn’t execute.

And if you want an example in this tournament, do you really believe Tywan believes himself that Pito pushed his leg into the ball on that one call? Larry didn't even give Tywan the call that one was so absurd. But I'm not blaming Tywan for anything its unfortunately part of the game, still falls on the ref to make the right call and Larry is not a guy to be pressured by the player so it was all on him.

You know what I use to hate about handball players in pickup games. They never keep score because they want to be able to argue about it. Thats what I love about that guy Rookie though. He keep score no matter who is playing. They should get him to be official scorekeeper of these tournaments for the favs or finals next year lmao. And let me just say NYC trash talking in handball is one thing, thats Muhammed Ali Status, it can even be fun, but arguing for bs calls you and everyone knows is bs is not a good look for the sport. I don't know why a big game like this the players are who dictate the match anyways. I appeal to the camera is all they should be allowed to say.

Does anyone PUNCH the ball any more? When I played in the 70's in Queens we used a Spaldeen and (Still is unless rules changed last 2 years) you could PUNCH, when I punched the Spaldeen at 100 plus MPH 2-3 inches over the short line it was non returnable. So again I ask does anyone still use a Spaldeen and do any of these players PUNCH? Umm RULE ONE from hand book Rule 1.2 Description. @Handballwarriors123 9 месяцев назад +1

If the ball passes the opponent, you can hit it. If it touches the opponent, you get a free point. It's only if your opponent doesn't move after the ball leaves their hand, that the shot is allowed, and this can be an easy punish for you since they have to stand still and can't reposition while you hit the ball. If your opponent blocking led to always stopped the play you give away the opportunity to punish and the main point is the ball is hittable with not enough obstruction/unfair disadvantage to lead to a call. You can play four wall if you want rules like that.

I guess it’s best to keep your opponent running after that ball which will make it more tough for him to hit that ball.
