    Amen well said this is one of the hardest teaching in the bible and I've been struggling with this for a long time. Its a form of legalism and it robs you of your joy and stomps your grow and it wont allow the power of the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. The Holy Spirit is the one who produces the fruit in us and who sanctifies us. We try to justify our selves with our good behavior because we think God will loves us more. Nothing is further from the truth , i cant earn God's love anymore than He already loves me. His love is unconditional.

      Amen brother! The truth will set you free. Always keep your affections on Jesus. Of course the way we behave it's very important. I would never say differently. But the evil one want you focusing on what YOU are doing, a lot more than he does on what HE did. Thank you for joining the conversation.

    Galatians 2:21 KJV
    I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

    Amen brother Mike, its all about God's grace and the atoning blood of Jesus, there is nothing we can do to make ourselves righteous except Believe in what Jesus did on the cross for us!
    I am so thankful to him and long for the day when we go home!
    Maranatha.
    Love and blessings

    Amen! 👏 The Law was only a schoolmaster bringing us to Christ so that we could be justified through faith. But once faith has come, we are no longer under the schoolmaster's authority. (Gal 3:24-25) Christ is the end of the law to all that believe.✝️🐑

    • @jesuswithoutreligion
      @jesuswithoutreligion  Год назад

      @@my1vice No one is condoning sin. Sin is bad. Of course Jesus told the women in John 8:11 to go and sin no more. Why would he want her to keep sinning? But what if she did it again? Would Jesus punish her? No. There is no condemnation for those in Christ. If she did it 10 times, Jesus will still say "Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin".
      You are conflating grace/forgiveness with the condoning of sin and ungodliness. That is your view, not ours.

    IS. 26: 10
    Though the wicked is shown compassion and favor,
    He does not learn righteousness;
    In the land of uprightness he deals unjustly,
    And refuses to see the majesty of the Lord.
    VS. ROM. 12 : 17--20 ?? can you explain this please 🙏 am really struggling w/ it ( its out of contest .☺ )

      I think all of this is a picture of Jesus.
      None of us are righteous, and none of us have earned forgiveness and grace, yet, Jesus freely offers all of us the free gift to be cleansed, holy, and brought them to the family.
      But there are many evil people who refuse this gift, and reject all of God’s kindness. By God’s creation we all know that God is real. To reject Jesus, after he is willing to die in place of our sins, for that person the wrath of God awaits him.
      I guess ultimately, God doesn't want us reacting to evil by being evil. That doesn't mean we're supposed to be doormat and let people walk on's. It means we don't need to play God, and know that God will deal with them just laying in the end..

    Hey Mike, what are your thoughts about this?
    Someone may feel like because the made a bad choice, they feel shame and guilt and don't feel worthy of saying "they love God" that they're ashamed to utter those words bc they feel like they're lying. What are your thoughts? Certainly, we want to do the right thing, but what are your thoughts for ppl who feel this way?

    • @jesuswithoutreligion
      @jesuswithoutreligion  Год назад +1

      We should never feel like that. We ALL make bad choices. Instead of feeling ashamed, we should just stop the sin. Jesus literally died to take our sins away. So, to not feel worthy of saying we love God when we made a bad choice would seem to ignore why Jesus died on the cross. The devil wins if we do that.
      Take Away: Sin is BAD. But God took care of that problem for us. Let's not avoid saying we love God and thank Jesus for making us blameless.

    It's not even about getting a believer to keep the law. The old covenant is gone nothing to do whatsoever with the new covenant are Jesus would not be an acceptable Priest. We need to forget about the old covenant and it's law. After the cross the Holy Spirit convicts everyone of sin because of unbelief and the law has no place in that conviction. So let's forget the law. It's Jewish history.
