Good reference. Verse 27 is a powerful lesson for those 'coming out', like myself. We must remember that God can provide his spirit for us and the spirit needed to understand his will; if we but persist in prayer and personal Bible reading. He can place it on ANY who seek to worship him and "spirit and truth". We don't need an organization and a few self-proclaimed prophets to channel it to us!
This is something I wish JWs understood. I know my 16 year old daughter and my parents, who are still in the religion, feel like I've left God which hurts more than anything. I made the decisions that I did to be CLOSER to God. So that a group of men and/or an organization no longer come between me and God. But they see it as my turning my back on Him 😔 very frustrating!

I’m 21 years old, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve wondered why I’ve never felt truly happy or at peace in my religion. Now, I’m starting to understand why. It feels surreal to finally wake up, to see things clearly, while everyone around me is still so deeply immersed in this belief system. I’ve always had questions, ones that never seemed to have answers.. Why do we practice shunning? Why do the teachings keep changing to suit certain narratives? And why do we preach love and kindness, yet fail to genuinely show it to one another?? The most haunting realization, though, is this: as a kid, if I ever needed a blood transfusion to save my life, my own parents would let me die rather than go against the rules. It’s heartbreaking to know that the value of my life is seen as secondary. And the number of hypocritical or cruel individuals I’ve encountered within the congregation has been overwhelming. I’ve met far more people who reflect poorly on the faith than those who live up to its supposed values, and that alone says so much. :/ One memory stands out vividly. I was just a child (going through a whole lot) when an elder told me that if I didn’t do enough to serve, I would die in Armageddon. Imagine being a little kid and hearing that your life is conditional, not on love, not on inherent worth, but on doing “enough” to please an organization... Looking back, I can see now how much damage this religion has done to me, in ways I didn’t even realize before. It’s shocking and deeply saddening. But I’m also grateful for the videos and people who’ve shared their stories or help me understand why this religion is wrong in some ways because they’ve helped me wake up over the past month. Slowly but surely, I’m finding clarity. At the same time, stepping away feels so strange. I was born and raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, and the idea of life outside is scary. But despite that uncertainty, I feel hopeful! Thank you for this.
Interesting comment. Im a JW myself of some 35 yrs though faded for past 12. Though JW leadership claim that Jehovah/Yahweh/ reveals "truth" to them at the appropriate time, its clear from the JW history and their long list of written literature (referred to as spiritual food) from late 1800's onwards, its quite clear that is NOT the case. The JW version of truth tends to vary and tomorrow's truth may not be today's truth yet JWs are required to accept all as "revealed truth" yet much of it has been discarded and no longer considered "truth". So the JW leadership are essentially undermining their own credibility. Anyway, be that as it may, God is the Ultimate Reality or as I would say, Ultimate reality is pure Intelligence which = God. This Intelligence runs the physical and non physical dimensions of reality but is itself separate from those dimensions. Im quite confident that whatever plan God has for man (and the planet) since man is created in "God's image" ( which means he was endowed with a degree of intelligence) , whatever plan God has will come to fruition at the designated time and man will live forever on earth as intended and will most likely travel the universe ( otherwise why have a universe so infinite if not for exploration?) . I’m very happy for you. I’m 68 and just last month disassociated been in my whole life. It’s ruining my son‘s life we made so many sacrifices that we can’t undo now because the time is over really nice for me to read that out. What you’re going through is normal if you have very much troubleadjusting counseling for leading a cult should probably help we’re considering doing that ourselves

The religion wreaked havoc on her kids (my cousins) who are now adults and have suffered so much. May you find your life in a God who loved you so much that He gave His best to us (instead of demanding that we give to Him).
I was born and raised as Jehovah's Witnesses until I turn 33. Their master of isolation and make it feel like you are truly alone without them. It feels like limbo.

I was told armagedon would come before I made it to secondary school. Now I'm 12 years away from retirement. I hated my time in the religion and I had a hard time getting out due to family pressure. All the people I grew up with in the religion don't have a pot to piss in because they never invested in their future and now they are old no one is around to take care of them, not even family. Do with that what you will.
@Flippingwolfresells I just chose not to be a bum who needs to keep asking for favours and hand outs. I'm not rich by any stretch but have never asked for anything and can support myself and help out friends and family when they need it.

Sadly Watchtower has twisted John 6: 68 - 69 to keep people enslaved. It’s not ‘Where shall we go?’ but to “Whom shall we go?” thou hast the words of eternal life. “And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God”. The Catholic church is far worse. All organised religion seems to be the churches of Satan. I now have my own personalised relationship with God and Christ. I feel free and spiritually stronger too.
I appreciate what you had to say in this video. It was really enlightening to me when I started pursuing spiritual food outside of the organization. When they did what they did in 2019 and 2020 it was the beginning of the end for me. I’m appreciative of what I learned while in the organization… I did learn a lot about the Bible, but what I learned was mixed with the falsehoods the watchtower organization developed to make themselves separate from other Christian faiths. I’m glad I am free from the foolishness. I believe in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who died that I might be forgiven of my sins. He became sin for us all and was resurrected three days later. By grace through faith in Jesus alone. It’s beautiful.

I wish my mom had before she passed, but I know she believed in what Jesus did for us and His resurrection, even if she was following the JW false gospel. I believe God will remember her and I will see her again. You know, what I like about your channel is that you don't come across as bitter or resentful as a result. I see a lot of that from other channels, and while I can understand some of it, it's not the way to go. You are helping people move forward with their lives and faith. I respect that!
This is very good to see. I have never been a JW, I have been Christian for more than 40 years. Whilst it is not true that there is nowhere to go, for ex-JWs, Mormons etc, it is increasingly true that it is getting harder for Bible believing Christians to find a home. You are wise to be cautious, I recommend it, and wish you every blessing!
No need to feel lost. It is those inside this religion that have a false hope. Salvation is only found by faith alone in the person of Jesus. Remember what the Philippian jailer asked Paul: “What must I do to be saved?” Paul answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.” This means to trust in, to have faith in the person of Jesus and you will be saved. Yes it’s that simple for us. It is Jesus who did the hard part.

Keep reading the Scriptures and let the Spirit teach. Jesus addressed individuals in those difficult congregations in Revelation 2 and 3. I am sure many felt alone. But we can be victorious. Thank you for the video. I left the jw organization a year ago which according to the Bible all religions are part of Babylon the great. Jesus said to get out of her if we don't want to share in the plagues. For me to join another religion seems contrary to that. The 1 john 2:26 scripture you used was very encouraging. Thank you.
Yes. I agree. I would not visit another place of worship. I feel that visiting these types of sites and sharing our thoughts and scripture points with each other is probably more of an example of not forsaking the gathering together…ESPECIALLY as you watch the day drawing near. ❤

I thought that was a very spiritual and balanced video, I have not been a witness for a long time. I would agree with everything you said well done sister. I still value my time as a witness I was a witness for about 35 years from being 16 years old I'm now 62 in that time I got to read the Bible many times and that is a good foundation, also god got to know me. and now I've moved on and become spiritually mature as an individual serving god, I feel I'm in the best place spiritually speaking that I have been in. Not many that leave are as balanced as you are, it is lovely to see and God must be proud of you. Remember one thing you said there in every denomination and that includes the jw's. The other day l went to the hardware store and see one of my old neighbors . She was making the pop corn for the costumers , she was very kind talking to me. We spoke about the family and that. Those of us who were "born in" have learned some lessons that most have never experienced. Cults have amazing control schemes! Mt 23:8: you must not be called 'Teacher,' because you have only one Teacher, and you are all brothers and sisters together" "The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you".“I will send you the Helper from the Father. The Helper is the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father. When he comes, he will tell about me." John 14-&15 "For us there is but ONE GOD, THE FATHER, from whom ALL THINGS came and for whom we exist. And there is but ONE LORD (owner), Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we exist." Cor 8:5 Jesus said, "I am going to MY GOD and YOUR GOD." John 20:17 We pray to our Father. The Son is not the Father but prays to "Our Father in heaven."

I relate to what you’ve said. It’s refreshing to know others are on the path of the way with Jesus Christ. Trust The Father, Trust the Son, AND ask for the Holy Spirit and he will guide you to heal from your past, and grow in direct relationship to God through Christ. Know the Bible and reject the doctrine of men.

Well said so true. Jesus and Holy Spirit are there for us always. It's hard to live with individualistic approach as my truth maybe different as your. Growing up in JW, I feel so lonely for the past 15 years, sometimes I wish I could go back to those naive good old days with lots of friends and family. Only ex JW will understand as other religions are not as close.

I witness to Jehovah witness as they’re out doing there pioneer work I’ve become friends with a lot of them and it breaks my heart so blind too the truth of the Bible and they’re organization history but they’re wonderful people. Your point at 2:40 is a great one! Also, recall in Mark 9:38-40 when the disciples wanted to toast those who were doing ministry in Jesus' name but didn't travel with the 12. Jesus told his disciples to leave them alone because they are for Him, not against Him. I love the fact that there are denominations that are very different from my own. We learn from our differences. The very spirit of Jesus is against the kind of self exclusive jargon of the JWs and points to them being a major cult and NOT A DENOMINATION OF CHRISTIANITY.
Where 2 or more are gathered, Jesus said that he'd be there. I've found that when dealing with individuals (any denomination, even Jewish people, because of the promises made to Abraham) I can have good discussions and encouragement. No buildings or social structure needed.
"there is no where else to go" a paraphrase of Apostle Peters words to Jesus at John 6:68. JW's use this verse to make followers stay in, as outside is terrible. But, if we leave Watch Tower, why do we need to 'go anywhere'. We can choose to live the life we want to live and fill that life with people and activities that fulfill us.

Unfortunately, because humans are scarred by sin, there is no perfect denomination. Adventists also consider themselves a "special" people, but there are many faults with their policies as well. Their institutions...hospitals, universities, publishing houses etc do not live up to their high ideals. I resigned from their organisation several years ago, but one thing I don't regret, was reading the book "The Great Controversy". It provides a uniquely informative perspective of our origins and the reason why this earth is in the state it is. A truly wonderful read, I would recommend it to anyone, no matter what church you belong to.

It was a publishing business first then became a religious group in 1955 to gain tax breaks. Now a property development company masquerading as a mega church with televangelists on JW broadcasting. People stay for convenience because of friends and family that are also JW. I am challenging true believers to be guided by their relationship with God on what to do, where to go and when.
@Charliemed1000 I find Revelation 2:18 -24 to be quite comforting: Thyatira was in the grip of someone who claimed to be Jehovah’s channel and uttered prophesies that never came to fruition and misled many to commit spiritual adultery and act against their consciences. Jesus condemned the congregation for tolerating it, so he expected the congregation to act. Unfortunately it wasn’t good news for that false prophet and those who followed. He said “I gave her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent… I am about to throw her into a sickbed, and those committing adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. And I will kill her children with deadly plague” But he finishes with these comforting words “‘However, I say to the rest of you who are in Thy·a·tiʹra, all those who do not follow this teaching, those who did not get to know the so-called “deep things of Satan”: I am not putting on you any other burden. Just the same, hold fast to what you have until I come.”
there are several reasons why members decide to remain in the WT religion. having no place to go, is like admitting, that if there was a place to go, the ship would empty. probably true. i can think of two passages in scripture that suggest alternative paths to acceptable spirituality. one where j e s u s said of those who were preaching him, but not following with his disciples. m a r k 9:38 and the apostle p a u l's words at 1 c o r i n t h i a n s 11:19 . yes, there must be one faith, one hope, one baptism ... but this could be understood generally. evidence for this is in the second century, where often the congregations disagreed with one another, and yet they remained unified and friendly, even dying in the arena together. these congregations had as their presbyters, those who were guided by the apostles themselves. the WT religion has long stated that these congregations were in the beginning of the great apostasy, but i am not so sure. the WT religion also praises certain groups over time like the l o l l a r d s, john w y c l i f f e, henry gross ... groups and persons who would not fit the WT understanding today, a constantly changing understanding by the way. i doubt that there is any exclusive group before God. and this is why. religion today is cultural and geographical. if you are born into a faith category, you will leave this life the same way, with very few exceptions. this is true of every major faith group. WT increases have always been at the expense of other denominations in the same faith category, again, with few exceptions. this was not true of early c h r i s t i a n i t y, which broke down all cultural and geographical barriers. also, to suggest that everyone born to a different major faith group is automatically an enemy of God is non sensical. did not not God say of c y r u s 'you are my son'? is it not written that God is searching the planet to help those whose heart is complete towards him? being born into a major faith category different from c h r i s t i a n i t y does not automatically make you a servant of s a t a n, just as being born into c h r i s t i a n i t y does not automatically make you a servant of God. i would argue that God's people are in every major faith category, and even among those who do not acknowledge him at all. the great tribulation, when it gets here, will sort it all out. going to be a lot of surprises as j e s u s begins the selection process. one in the field taken, and the other left behind. until then there is one place to go, for c h r i s t i a n s. 'i am the way, the truth, and the life. no one comes to the father except through me.'

Jesus is a reflection of your trueself (man is made in his image) The dominate side of man is the ego mind, whereas the feminine side is the soul, the heart being the center. No one comes to the father except through the soul, the heart of who I am, crying out to be heard.
Revelation 18:1-8 tells us that in this time of the end ALL organised religions now stands condemned by Almighty God Yahweh.1 John 5:19 tells us the reason why.."the WHOLE 🌎 is lying in Satan's power." In this time of the end true worshippers will be scattered.
I always watch your videos. You are doing a great job. However, the Trinity doctrine is not biblical. I understand your point of view. I remain convinced that the Bible teaches that God is one God, and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, as He was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35, Matthew 1:20-23). Jesus is a man, Christ the rock is the Spirit, and God is spirit who dwelled fully in Jesus. People who know church history will realize that the JW have brought back the ancient Arian heresy, which was decisively refuted in the fourth century.

If this is the case then how is Jesus the Son of God? they will tell you he is a metaphorical Son and a metaphorical Father, denying the Sonship of Christ making this teaching anti-Christ. That was something I had to overcome by simply reading the bible on its own how it was meant to be read. When I was in the org nearly 10 years ago I started to read the bible without using the filter of the watchtower publications. But even before I wanted to leave the org I started to see the evidence for the trinity in scripture itself simply jump out at me. Oh don't worry it puzzled me too. But it's always been there in both old and new testament. Or according to watchtower / jw. Org the Hebrew and Christian Greek scriptures. When I decided to start to question this and ask elders about scriptures that defyed watchtower teaching I was secretly marked (it was also because I started to enquire about the 1975 prediction of the end of the system of things) that got me into trouble and about the ties with the U.N. I had questions which pissed off the elders they couldn't answer. Anyway I'm disfellowshipped but dosent bother me a bit. Anyway getting off topic here. The trinity is found through out scripture. Yes the argument is always used oh the word trinity is not found in the bible. Think about it Jehovah progressively revealed himself in many ways. In creator, the word(God became flesh) John 1:1-3 and holy spirit. It's all there in scripture. The more you read the scriptures alone the more God will reveal his true self and nature to you. Remember can't think of God in human terms his existence is complex in nature but understood through scripture.

I wasn't ever a JW but used to attend a Pentecostal church but I left that denomination. Let me ask you this what is the goal of being a worshipper? Is there life after death? If I did accept Jesus as my savior would I be able to see people I really loved in life? Where would I see them again? Do they know that I still love and care for them? Is there really a place to find answers to those questions? I’ve been lied to about all those questions so now I’m content to accept death as the end of me and be grateful for the life I enjoyed. I think you are beautiful!

Jw's have to ask the Lord to... take us to your people dear Lord... there are meeting by folks who study the Word the way the jw study and pray also.. that are pretty close to jw teaching... God has got to lead you there... don't look for a big institution like the jw's...

Most who leave eventually leave God altogether, as is there is nowhere else to go. No one else is teaching the truths as to who God is, his name, his purpose, the Kingdom on earth, the Ransom and that the trinity, hellfire and immortality of the soul are false doctrines. Are JW perfect? Of course not, and neither were the ancient Israelites. But both JW and Ancient Israel served a purpose in God’s plan. JW purpose is Mt 24:14
Hi Craig, unfortunately the more you read the Bible the more you realise JW teachings are far removed from what it says. And although there isn’t a perfect faith group out there, many are way closer to Biblical truth and have the Holy Spirit evident. If you have been a Jehovah’s witness for any length of time you wouldn’t know what’s out there. You aren’t allowed to visit or search elsewhere.
I left JWs. Then I left the idea of a Christian god altogether. The Bible god is a murderer. He shouldn't be worshipped any More than Odin or Zeus. Jws have never taught truth they teach doctrine. That's it. Truth to JWs is just whatever the governing body makes up... It changes often. Recall jw truth was that organ transplants were cannibalism. This deadly false teaching was taught by JWs for a decade killing who knows how many. It's not the truth. It's brainwash.
@ I searched for many years for truth, Faith….and I found the truth and it’s taught by Jehovah’s people. Unfortunately, many born into the truth, such as yourself, have little experience in the world. JW are right about the spirit of the world. Again, are JW perfect? Absolutely not. They make mistakes like all human beings do. However, God is using them to accomplish his purpose, as he did the ancient Israelites, and that purpose is to fulfill Mt 24:14. But in the end JWs are a high control social club. A cult. Nothing more. Admitting JWs aren't perfect doesn't jive with being a one true religion. Answer me 1 question: what is false religion? You're right. There is nothing else out there for you but hardcore bondage. Take heart in the fact that the Bible never said what you all believes it says, because JW's don't HAVE the Bible, for one. And for two, the Bible is an ethno-religious book for the Israelites, by the Israelites.

I especially like what you said to "hang on to the things that you really value" and you gave some great examples. My experience is that I subscribe to a youtube channel and many times the people are ex JW's like myself and at first it might go well but some like using the "F" word. At that point I leave a comment saying that I am unsubscribing and I will no longer watch their videos because of them suing the "F" word. I always receive persecution after saying that by several people and the person NEVER apologizes. Revelation 18:4 says to get out of her my people therefore I no longer want to be part of any religious organization
@kathywimer8597 - Remember, Kathy, how Jesus addressed the individual faithful ones in those 7 congregations in Revelation 2 and 3? Watchtower paints a whiter than white image of their congregations, as if that would be some recommendation/proof that they are the 'truth'; but thats not what Jesus described in Revelation 2 and 3. It is the individual faithful ones that Jesus has his eyes on, wherever they stand in this apostate world. Those individuals allow themselves to be taught by the Holy Spirit, and this realisation is what moves them to be faithful, wherever, in this 'field' of the world they stand. They even shudder at the thought of bending a knee to any other but Christ. So, they fight the fine fight to be victorious in faith, whether alone or functioning with others. Its worth giving the Revelation account above some prayerful consideration in light of your question. It is Christ who is 'the way, the TRUTH and the life...', not men, not an organisation, not watchtower. I wish you the best.

Good reference. Verse 27 is a powerful lesson for those 'coming out', like myself. We must remember that God can provide his spirit for us and the spirit needed to understand his will; if we but persist in prayer and personal Bible reading. He can place it on ANY who seek to worship him and "spirit and truth". We don't need an organization and a few self-proclaimed prophets to channel it to us!

This is something I wish JWs understood. I know my 16 year old daughter and my parents, who are still in the religion, feel like I've left God which hurts more than anything. I made the decisions that I did to be CLOSER to God. So that a group of men and/or an organization no longer come between me and God. But they see it as my turning my back on Him 😔 very frustrating!

I’m 21 years old, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve wondered why I’ve never felt truly happy or at peace in my religion. Now, I’m starting to understand why. It feels surreal to finally wake up, to see things clearly, while everyone around me is still so deeply immersed in this belief system. I’ve always had questions, ones that never seemed to have answers.. Why do we practice shunning? Why do the teachings keep changing to suit certain narratives? And why do we preach love and kindness, yet fail to genuinely show it to one another??
The most haunting realization, though, is this: as a kid, if I ever needed a blood transfusion to save my life, my own parents would let me die rather than go against the rules. It’s heartbreaking to know that the value of my life is seen as secondary. And the number of hypocritical or cruel individuals I’ve encountered within the congregation has been overwhelming. I’ve met far more people who reflect poorly on the faith than those who live up to its supposed values, and that alone says so much. :/
One memory stands out vividly. I was just a child (going through a whole lot) when an elder told me that if I didn’t do enough to serve, I would die in Armageddon. Imagine being a little kid and hearing that your life is conditional, not on love, not on inherent worth, but on doing “enough” to please an organization...
Looking back, I can see now how much damage this religion has done to me, in ways I didn’t even realize before. It’s shocking and deeply saddening. But I’m also grateful for the videos and people who’ve shared their stories or help me understand why this religion is wrong in some ways because they’ve helped me wake up over the past month. Slowly but surely, I’m finding clarity.
At the same time, stepping away feels so strange. I was born and raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, and the idea of life outside is scary. But despite that uncertainty, I feel hopeful! Thank you for this.
Interesting comment. Im a JW myself of some 35 yrs though faded for past 12. Though JW leadership claim that Jehovah/Yahweh/ reveals "truth" to them at the appropriate time, its clear from the JW history and their long list of written literature (referred to as spiritual food) from late 1800's onwards, its quite clear that is NOT the case. The JW version of truth tends to vary and tomorrow's truth may not be today's truth yet JWs are required to accept all as "revealed truth" yet much of it has been discarded and no longer considered "truth". So the JW leadership are essentially undermining their own credibility. Anyway, be that as it may, God is the Ultimate Reality or as I would say, Ultimate reality is pure Intelligence which = God. This Intelligence runs the physical and non physical dimensions of reality but is itself separate from those dimensions. Im quite confident that whatever plan God has for man (and the planet) since man is created in "God's image" ( which means he was endowed with a degree of intelligence) , whatever plan God has will come to fruition at the designated time and man will live forever on earth as intended and will most likely travel the universe ( otherwise why have a universe so infinite if not for exploration?) . Read and meditate on the bible. I find a very good website is Borean Pickets. Check it out.

It’s ruining my son‘s life we made so many sacrifices that we can’t undo now because the time is over really nice for me to read that out. The religion wreaked havoc on her kids (my cousins) who are now adults and have suffered so much. I was told armagedon would come before I made it to secondary school. Now I'm 12 years away from retirement. I hated my time in the religion and I had a hard time getting out due to family pressure. All the people I grew up with in the religion don't have a pot to piss in because they never invested in their future and now they are old no one is around to take care of them, not even family. It’s not ‘Where shall we go?’ but to “Whom shall we go?” thou hast the words of eternal life. “And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God”. When they did what they did in 2019 and 2020 it was the beginning of the end for me. I’m appreciative of what I learned while in the organization… I did learn a lot about the Bible, but what I learned was mixed with the falsehoods the watchtower organization developed to make themselves separate from other Christian faiths.
I’m glad I am free from the foolishness. I believe in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who died that I might be forgiven of my sins. He became sin for us all and was resurrected three days later. By grace through faith in Jesus alone. It’s beautiful.

This is very good to see. I have never been a JW, I have been Christian for more than 40 years. Whilst it is not true that there is nowhere to go, for ex-JWs, Mormons etc, it is increasingly true that it is getting harder for Bible believing Christians to find a home. No need to feel lost. It is those inside this religion that have a false hope. Salvation is only found by faith alone in the person of Jesus. Remember what the Philippian jailer asked Paul: “What must I do to be saved?” Paul answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.” This means to trust in, to have faith in the person of Jesus and you will be saved. I thought that was a very spiritual and balanced video, I have not been a witness for a long time. I would agree with everything you said well done sister. I still value my time as a witness I was a witness for about 35 years from being 16 years old I'm now 62 in that time I got to read the Bible many times and that is a good foundation, also god got to know me. and now I've moved on and become spiritually mature as an individual serving god, I feel I'm in the best place spiritually speaking that I have been in. Not many that leave are as balanced as you are, it is lovely to see and God must be proud of you. Remember one thing you said there in every denomination and that includes the jw's.

Well said so true. Jesus and Holy Spirit are there for us always. It's hard to live with individualistic approach as my truth maybe different as your. Growing up in JW, I feel so lonely for the past 15 years, sometimes I wish I could go back to those naive good old days with lots of friends and family. Only ex JW will understand as other religions are not as close.

Your point at 2:40 is a great one! Also, recall in Mark 9:38-40 when the disciples wanted to toast those who were doing ministry in Jesus' name but didn't travel with the 12. Jesus told his disciples to leave them alone because they are for Him, not against Him. I love the fact that there are denominations that are very different from my own. We learn from our differences. The very spirit of Jesus is against the kind of self exclusive jargon of the JWs and points to them being a major cult and NOT A DENOMINATION OF CHRISTIANITY.

Where 2 or more are gathered, Jesus said that he'd be there. I've found that when dealing with individuals (any denomination, even Jewish people, because of the promises made to Abraham) I can have good discussions and encouragement. No buildings or social structure needed.

Unfortunately, because humans are scarred by sin, there is no perfect denomination. Adventists also consider themselves a "special" people, but there are many faults with their policies as well. Their institutions...hospitals, universities, publishing houses etc do not live up to their high ideals. I resigned from their organisation several years ago, but one thing I don't regret, was reading the book "The Great Controversy". It provides a uniquely informative perspective of our origins and the reason why this earth is in the state it is. A truly wonderful read, I would recommend it to anyone, no matter what church you belong to.

@Charliemed1000 I find Revelation 2:18 -24 to be quite comforting: Thyatira was in the grip of someone who claimed to be Jehovah’s channel and uttered prophesies that never came to fruition and misled many to commit spiritual adultery and act against their consciences. Jesus condemned the congregation for tolerating it, so he expected the congregation to act.
Unfortunately it wasn’t good news for that false prophet and those who followed. He said “I gave her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent… I am about to throw her into a sickbed, and those committing adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. And I will kill her children with deadly plague”
But he finishes with these comforting words “‘However, I say to the rest of you who are in Thy·a·tiʹra, all those who do not follow this teaching, those who did not get to know the so-called “deep things of Satan”: I am not putting on you any other burden. God speaks through His word and spirit to spirit when you get filled with the Holy Spirit
there are several reasons why members decide to remain in the WT religion. having no place to go, is like admitting, that if there was a place to go, the ship would empty. probably true. i can think of two passages in scripture that suggest alternative paths to acceptable spirituality. one where j e s u s said of those who were preaching him, but not following with his disciples. m a r k 9:38 and the apostle p a u l's words at 1 c o r i n t h i a n s 11:19 . yes, there must be one faith, one hope, one baptism ... but this could be understood generally. evidence for this is in the second century, where often the congregations disagreed with one another, and yet they remained unified and friendly, even dying in the arena together. these congregations had as their presbyters, those who were guided by the apostles themselves. the WT religion has long stated that these congregations were in the beginning of the great apostasy, but i am not so sure. the WT religion also praises certain groups over time like the l o l l a r d s, john w y c l i f f e, henry gross ... groups and persons who would not fit the WT understanding today, a constantly changing understanding by the way. i doubt that there is any exclusive group before God. and this is why. religion today is cultural and geographical. if you are born into a faith category, you will leave this life the same way, with very few exceptions. this is true of every major faith group. WT increases have always been at the expense of other denominations in the same faith category, again, with few exceptions. this was not true of early c h r i s t i a n i t y, which broke down all cultural and geographical barriers. also, to suggest that everyone born to a different major faith group is automatically an enemy of God is non sensical. did not not God say of c y r u s 'you are my son'? is it not written that God is searching the planet to help those whose heart is complete towards him? being born into a major faith category different from c h r i s t i a n i t y does not automatically make you a servant of s a t a n, just as being born into c h r i s t i a n i t y does not automatically make you a servant of God. i would argue that God's people are in every major faith category, and even among those who do not acknowledge him at all. the great tribulation, when it gets here, will sort it all out. going to be a lot of surprises as j e s u s begins the selection process. one in the field taken, and the other left behind. until then there is one place to go, for c h r i s t i a n s. 'i am the way, the truth, and the life. no one comes to the father except through me.'
I also went lot different churches just to see , there are a few churches just like the JW saying they are the only ones , that’s y you should check out everything.

I always watch your videos. You are doing a great job. However, the Trinity doctrine is not biblical. I understand your point of view. I remain convinced that the Bible teaches that God is one God, and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, as He was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:35, Matthew 1:20-23). Jesus is a man, Christ the rock is the Spirit, and God is spirit who dwelled fully in Jesus.

If this is the case then how is Jesus the Son of God? they will tell you he is a metaphorical Son and a metaphorical Father, denying the Sonship of Christ making this teaching anti-Christ. That was something I had to overcome by simply reading the bible on its own how it was meant to be read.
When I was in the org nearly 10 years ago I started to read the bible without using the filter of the watchtower publications. But even before I wanted to leave the org I started to see the evidence for the trinity in scripture itself simply jump out at me. Oh don't worry it puzzled me too. But it's always been there in both old and new testament. Or according to watchtower / jw. Org the Hebrew and Christian Greek scriptures.
When I decided to start to question this and ask elders about scriptures that defyed watchtower teaching I was secretly marked (it was also because I started to enquire about the 1975 prediction of the end of the system of things) that got me into trouble and about the ties with the U.N.
I had questions which pissed off the elders they couldn't answer.
Anyway I'm disfellowshipped but dosent bother me a bit.

The trinity is found through out scripture. Yes the argument is always used oh the word trinity is not found in the bible.
Think about it Jehovah progressively revealed himself in many ways. In creator, the word(God became flesh) John 1:1-3 and holy spirit.
It's all there in scripture.
The more you read the scriptures alone the more God will reveal his true self and nature to you.
Remember can't think of God in human terms his existence is complex in nature but understood through scripture.

She doesn't want to listen to anything i'm saving, although i only use their material to show her that so many of the JW teachings are false etc.

Let me ask you this what is the goal of being a worshipper? Is there life after death? If I did accept Jesus as my savior would I be able to see people I really loved in life? Where would I see them again? Do they know that I still love and care for them? Is there really a place to find answers to those questions? I’ve been lied to about all those questions so now I’m content to accept death as the end of me and be grateful for the life I enjoyed. I think you are beautiful!

Hi Craig, unfortunately the more you read the Bible the more you realise JW teachings are far removed from what it says. And although there isn’t a perfect faith group out there, many are way closer to Biblical truth and have the Holy Spirit evident. If you have been a Jehovah’s witness for any length of time you wouldn’t know what’s out there. You aren’t allowed to visit or search elsewhere.
I left JWs. Then I left the idea of a Christian god altogether. The Bible god is a murderer. He shouldn't be worshipped any More than Odin or Zeus.
Jws have never taught truth they teach doctrine. That's it. Truth to JWs is just whatever the governing body makes up... It changes often.
Recall jw truth was that organ transplants were cannibalism. This deadly false teaching was taught by JWs for a decade killing who knows how many. It's not the truth. It's brainwash.

JW are right about the spirit of the world.
Again, are JW perfect?
Absolutely not.
They make mistakes like all human beings do.
However, God is using them to accomplish his purpose, as he did the ancient Israelites, and that purpose is to fulfill Mt 24:14.
There is only one group of people honestly doing their best to live like Jesus taught his followers to live, found throughout the inhabited earth, and preaching the Kingdom as a real government, and it’s Jehovah’s Witnesses.
@craiglittle7367 how are Mormons not accomplishing Matt 24'14? They are as much as JWs are and are twice as big and 10 times as wealthy. Seems like Jehovah's been blessing them better than JWs.
In reality there is absolutely no truth in beliefs. You need faith that it's true... That's not how the real world works. I'm glad it brings you comfort. It did to for me as well. But in the end JWs are a high control social club. A cult. Nothing more.
Admitting JWs aren't perfect doesn't jive with being a one true religion.
Answer me 1 question: what is false religion? Try to define it without saying something jws do or have done.
Why is it important that people bring awareness to be this cult? Because child abuse is being covered up by JWs, you have deadly teachings and you shun people until they kill themselves. Like Stephen Letts nephew. JWs are EVIL.
You're right. There is nothing else out there for you but hardcore bondage. Take heart in the fact that the Bible never said what you all believes it says, because JW's don't HAVE the Bible, for one. And for two, the Bible is an ethno-religious book for the Israelites, by the Israelites.

I know that Jesus said he would separate one from another beforehand but I honestly would prefer living on a paradise earth as opposed to being a spirit. Now I do not know what happens after death since deciding to leave the organization. And it scares me.

I especially like what you said to "hang on to the things that you really value" and you gave some great examples. My experience is that I subscribe to a youtube channel and many times the people are ex JW's like myself and at first it might go well but some like using the "F" word. At that point I leave a comment saying that I am unsubscribing and I will no longer watch their videos because of them suing the "F" word. I always receive persecution after saying that by several people and the person NEVER apologizes. Revelation 18:4 says to get out of her my people therefore I no longer want to be part of any religious organization
I am still seeking a group, church? Who teach truth. It's difficult.
@kathywimer8597 - Remember, Kathy, how Jesus addressed the individual faithful ones in those 7 congregations in Revelation 2 and 3? Watchtower paints a whiter than white image of their congregations, as if that would be some recommendation/proof that they are the 'truth'; but thats not what Jesus described in Revelation 2 and 3. It is the individual faithful ones that Jesus has his eyes on, wherever they stand in this apostate world. Those individuals allow themselves to be taught by the Holy Spirit, and this realisation is what moves them to be faithful, wherever, in this 'field' of the world they stand. They even shudder at the thought of bending a knee to any other but Christ. So, they fight the fine fight to be victorious in faith, whether alone or functioning with others. Its worth giving the Revelation account above some prayerful consideration in light of your question.
It is Christ who is 'the way, the TRUTH and the life...', not men, not an organisation, not watchtower.

Genesis one, man is fruitful and multiplying.
Genesis two, no man to till the land, to bring order to the land, to seperate, to be a mediator.
When Adam is seen (God knows the heart and thoughts) not to have a help meat, he is then put into sleep mode, where his shown how man's own desires leads to man's falling from the glory of GOD.
Eve is the feminine image of Adam, who breathes life into the world, she is the heart and soul of the man, yet never gets to be heard, crying from within the wild beast.

By eating from the tree they saw that they, not themselves, were naked... meaning, they see only the outer flesh which is unfruitful, but not whats on the inside, the fruits of a heart of gold, naked (blind) to the eye of the beholder.
