I absolutely love this series. If I could make only one very polite suggestion, that would be to break the interview up with short clips of the interviewee playing his Flying V in a live or studio setting.
I was hoping the harpoon design spawned from fishing.. it’s pretty badass nonetheless! I need to get me one, I can see the practice sitting down thing too!
Why does Michael never say that he was massively influenced by Michael Schenker? Flying V, wide vibrato, stage 'knees-together' stance = the whole lot. I also know for a fact that he's paid big money for at least one of Schenker's original 50-watt Marshalls. It's almost like he's embarrassed to say it.
He is the complete opposite, of what you expect, from a metal icon. Him, Alexi Laiho, and ironically long since before joining the band, Jeff Loomis, have been my top 3 since I was a kid.

Fantastic video.Thank you so much.
Good interview, but what’s with the random cutscreens of an exclamation point?
I love that Michael still has all his old ESPs - shame he wasn't with them for long, so Ninjas pop up so rarely now!
Both of the ninja series were so awesome! I was so bummed when they were discontinued.
I don't listen to his main band Arch Enemy but I really dig his material on Spiritual Beggers, absolutely awesome 👍

If you listen to his old interviews when Angela was in the band he mentions him alot. Thier first live DVD he mentions him during a gear rundown
TE AMO MICHAEL !!!
1:12 damn my parents hated music and still do
Carcass was one of the best...
Carcass forever!
I prefer the Gibson flying v to the Dean ones to be honest
Not a fan of Dean guitars at all. His ESP ones were great
