Glad I could help with the aiming😉 The weird camera angles will always be the most frustrating part of the early RE games. Dogs are an early problem enemy, but once you learn their pattern they get pretty easy. You're doing well, just remember to look over everything front and back 🧐 And it's gonna get creepier 😱 Jill has an easier time through for 1st playthrough, as she can pick locks and gets some bigger guns earlier, so you might try her if Chris gives you trouble. She and Barry also have some funny scenes together 🥪
thank you for hanging out - and the help!! 💖 I’m super stoked to keep playing, it’s a challenge to learn all the mechanics and what to do/not do, but I’m already obsessed and it’s so early on lol.
Not sure if it's ever been remastered or re-released, by my fave of the early survival horrors was Parasite Eve 1 & 2, from SquareSoft. Great storyline based on a Japanese novel, cool mix of rpg/survival horror, and some weird AF enemies. Still kind of wonky combat, but I found it way easier to deal with than Resident Evil (granted, that was original recipe RE 😅)
I have this vague (and very fond) memory of Parasite Eve!! I don’t think I ever got very far cos I am/was a big scaredy cat, but I’d love to get my hands on a copy and an older system that could play it. That and the Silent Hill series and Dino Crisis would be so awesome. Hopefully one day
Every weapon you pick up you can use
