Mr. Bonham..I so enjoy your work on Mad Hatter..I listen to Chimera especially still to this day. Timeless tune honestly. I had the honor to see Mr. Bonham live at a drum tribute to his Father in Long Island NY in Oct ‘92..Mr. Tommy Aldridge was my main attraction, but as Mad Hatter came out that same year,, seeing him live was spectacular. With the red DW kit! Many other legends they’re playing as well, including the late awesome Mr. Banali. All the best for a safe healthy and successful tour everyone!
Amazing and so fun to see behind the scenes. Great talent always gravitates to great talent. Sammy would be such a joy to be around whether "working"...having a meal, relaxing on the beach with a drink, just such a fun and big hearted person. I've loved him since I first saw him singing 3 lock box when I was 13

He had a band. I think the politics of having your own band sometimes isn't worth it, especially to those that can get hired and play with just about anyone and still make a lot of money and not have to worry about all the politics and business of having your own band..
He's far from it, even though his old man passed away half his age and made a bigger imprint than he could ever fathom. He can't even replicate very well, much less have his own style and influence. Literally no dynamics or feel either, just wood chopping and trying to be something he isn't.....his dad

Jason's Dad was my drumming inspiration and I spent countless hours with the headphones on and playing Zeppelin tunes. His drumming became part of my DNA and listening to Jason play always brings me warm feelings. He literally has the DNA of his father and I hear it in every hit. I'll be there opening night to support this Hagar-era music one last time. It's been a nice long ride with many decades of memories and live shows. God bless and may the band stay safe and healthy in their travels on the tour.

I love seeing the footage of a young Billy Connolly trying to interview his mate, John Bonham, who just seems rather shy , quite, reserved and didn't say much. Completely different the the drummer he was. The art of Zeppelin and the Stones is the drums follow the guitar. Bonzo followed Jimmy, Charlie Watts followed Keith Richards. My drummer friend and i had it down to a fine art, plus we were close friends and could play off the other well. It definitely gave any band we were in a certain feel. I recommend it to get that interplay that makes those bands special. Oh, and it helps to be British!!
I'll be there in West Palm Beach for the opening of this tour 14 rows back center. Last time I saw them it was two years ago in Indiana. Living in Florida now this should be a great opening. I'm looking forward to making another video for my RUclips channel. JMZ Rocks
