DVD Player Swallows a Disc

My DVD player just swallowed a disc, first my VCR was eating tapes... and now... my DVD player is eating DVDs, well that's just great...

Only one DVD disc was harmed in the making of this video, that one that ends up in the toilet.

This has actually happened to me before with a DVD player, it was a magazine tray and I put the disc in, and then opened it and there was no disc no matter what I did. I had to tear the drive assembly apart to retrieve the disc
